This is the best LoL cinematic I've been in a long time. It just made me way too hyped for Arcane Season 2.
Stopped playing the game years ago but I still remember the characters and damn, the cinematic gave me goosebumps...
Well this just kept building!
The Aatrox vs Kyle & Morgana fight was neat. No idea what stronghold they were fighting over, but it has some nice aerial combat and synergy between the two angel champs.
Then we get Yasuo doing his best impression of Old Man Logan. Probably a new skin his final fate in the lore, at least until the next retcon.
But MAN, did not expect to see Tryndamere go up against Kindred, literal bloody Death, with nothing but a sword and his pecks! I LOVE Kindred as a character, and it's great to see them in a cinematic, especially against Trynd, who's whole shtick is that he's a survivor. Strong "Death can have me when it has earned me" vibes from that one.
And, as usual, great music, animation and cinematography.
According to a Facebook post from Riot, apparently Kayle and Morgana are defending Demacia? Maybe one of their forts; back in my day, the faction to whom they swore their allegiance was nebulous at best lol. But I guess they're Demacian now. They've been reworked and retconned a couple times now I believe.
It was really cool to see Kindred though, I agree. And then with Lamb backing down in the end; conceding "not today".
