Palworld Update Fixes Blueprint Crafting: No More Carrying Recipes Around

Published 7 hours ago by

Pocketpair hsa released a new tiny patch for Palworld with big changes. The update notes, which is just two simple lines, completely changes how crafting with blueprints works.

Prior to the update, you could store a blueprint on yourself to craft with it, and if you placed it in a chest at your base, you'd have to go and remember which small chest you put your blueprint in to make a craft. Now, you can be as messy as you want because you can craft by just having the recipe somewhere in your base.

Why this wasn't in the game earlier, only Pocketpair could tell us and they haven't made any commentary around it. It feels like one of those features that should have been baseline and after years of unorganized frustration, at least we didn't have to wait until the game's full release later this year for it.

Read on for the full, yet tiny, patch notes which also includes information on a building bug fix.

Quote From Palworld

Balance Adjustments

  • Blueprints stored in chests at the base can now actually be used in crafting.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where using non-foundation structures such as pillars would cause roofs and other structures to float in mid-air.
