Gitaroo Man, Psi-Ops: The Midnight Conspiracy, and Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams to be Added to the PlayStation 2 Classics Catalogue

During the State of Play, we received word of three new games being added to the PlayStation 2 Classics catalogue.

Gitaroo Man (June)

A very rare, but nonetheless beloved rhythm game about a boy and his "gitaroo". It was ported to the PSP in 2006, but besides that, this is the first time the original console version of the game has been rereleased in any capacity.

Psi-Ops: The Mindgate COnspiracy (July)

Originally released in 2004, Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy is a third-person shooter following Nick Scryer, a secret agent with psychic powers and suffers from amnesia after being kidnapped by psychic terrorists... or something to that effect.

Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams (august)

Perhaps fitting with Onimusha: Way of the Sword releasing soon, the original sixth installment of the Onimusha series from 2006 is being added to the PS2 Classics catalogue. You are Soki, on a quest to stop Hideyoshi Toyotomi from taking over the world with his demon army. I'd tell you more, but I've never actually played the game before. August seems like a good time to do that though.
