PlayStation Heads to Comic-Con 2026 With Marvel's Wolverine, MARVEL Tokon, and God of War Laufey Panels

PlayStation is heading to San Diego Comic-Con 2026 with a stacked lineup of panels and activities, and it revealed the full slate in today's post on the PlayStation Blog. The three headline panels cover Marvel's Wolverine, MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls, and God of War Laufey (woo!), and PlayStation says it will keep fans updated on any announcements even if they can't make it to San Diego in person.

If you're joining the crowds down in sunny San Diego, here's everything on the schedule. And if you're staying home, don't worry - we've got the details too.

What's on the Comic-Con 2026 panel schedule?

There are three PlayStation panels to circle on your calendar, spread across Thursday and Friday of the show.

Marvel's Wolverine - Deep Cuts

  • Thursday, July 23, 2026

  • 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM PT

  • Room: Hall H

Insomniac Games is bringing out a heavy hitter for this one. Creative Director Marcus Smith, Game Director Mike Daly, Narrative Director Walt Williams, and Sr. Project Director Jess Reiner-Reed will be joined by actors Liam McIntyre (Wolverine) and Krizia Bajos (Jean Grey), along with Executive Producer Eric Monacelli from Marvel Games, to unveil new details from the highly anticipated game. Media personality Naomi Kyle moderates, and the panel promises a behind-the-scenes look at the game's story, characters, and exclusive never-before-seen content.

Notably, PlayStation confirmed that Marvel's Wolverine releases on September 15 on PlayStation 5 consoles.

MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls - Behind the Battle

  • Thursday, July 23, 2026

  • 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM PT

  • Room: Hall H

Right after the Wolverine panel, fighting game fans get to step into the arena. Fighting game commentator and streamer Sajam moderates a chat with Game Producer Takeshi Yamanaka (Arc System Works), Localization Director Amber Seitz (Arc System Works), and Senior Product Development Manager Michael Francisco (Marvel Games) about the making of the game and how it fits into the Marvel Universe. They'll be joined by Marvel Comics artist and Knights of Doom illustrator Mike Deodato and voice actor Josh Keaton (Iron Man and Spider-Man) for behind-the-scenes looks and, as PlayStation teases, surprise announcements you won't want to miss.

God of War Laufey - Forging God of War's Next Heroes

  • Friday, July 24, 2026

  • 5:30 - 6:30 PM PT

  • Room: Ballroom 20

Santa Monica Studio is bringing the cast back together for the first time since the game's reveal. God of War Laufey Game Director Ariel Lawrence and Santa Monica Studio Head of Creative Cory Barlog lead an in-depth conversation with Deborah Ann Woll (Laufey), Chris Judge (Kratos), Jack Quaid (Phranque), and Perlina Lau (Rue). Expect new details about the game's heroes, plus insights from development and the performance capture that brings each character to life.

What can you do on the show floor?

Beyond the panels, PlayStation has plenty happening around the convention from July 23-26 on the San Diego Convention Center show floor:

  • At the Marvel Booth (Booth #2329), players can drop in for a Marvel's Wolverine photo op and grab giveaway items like Marvel's Wolverine Claws and a copy of the Marvel's Wolverine Prequel Comic - written by Narrative Director Walt Williams - while supplies last.

  • Keep an eye out for the Marvel's Wolverine wrapped San Diego Trolley traveling around the convention center and downtown area.

  • Head to the Omni Hotel Lawn to cool down with a Madripoor Sunrise Slushie, snap a photo alongside a looming Proto-Sentinel Head, and grab Marvel's Wolverine Claws.

  • Fighting game fans can visit the San Diego Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina to play MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls and take pictures with Doctor Doom and Storm statues.

PlayStation also confirmed it will update its blog with full recordings of the panels after the show.
