Grinding Gear Games has confirmed that Path of Exile's Mirage Challenge League is wrapping up soon, with the league officially ending on July 20th at 3PM PDT. If you've been wondering what happens to all your hard-earned progress once the league closes out, the studio has laid out exactly what carries over into Standard and what gets left behind.
The big headline here is that the Mirage system itself is not going core in 3.29, so unlike some past leagues, its central mechanic won't be sticking around permanently. That said, plenty of the good stuff is staying put.
What carries over to Standard?
Here's the rundown of what happens when the Mirage League ends:
Core Atlas content introduced in the Mirage League, such as Astrolabes and Exceptional Support gems, will still remain.
Transfusion Support, however, will no longer be obtainable from Divination Cards.
Maps with Empowered Mirages that cover the entire Map will not be openable in Standard.
Existing Black Baryas will still be usable, but there will be no way to obtain more of them.
So while the Mirage mechanic proper is bowing out, a fair chunk of the Atlas additions live on - a nice bit of good news for anyone who invested time into the new gems and content.

Still chasing challenges?
If you've got unfinished challenges hanging over your head, Grinding Gear Games notes you've still got one week left to knock them out before the Mirage League ends. After that, the window closes.

Thanks to everyone for playing and to those of you still trying to complete your unfinished challenges, you still have one week to do so before the Mirage League ends. To those of you looking forward to something new, keep an eye on the news for the upcoming Curse of the Allflame reveal!
What's next for Path of Exile?
With Mirage winding down, all eyes are now on what comes next. The studio is pointing players toward the upcoming Curse of the Allflame reveal, which we've been keeping a close watch on. If you're up to speed, you'll know that Curse of the Allflame launches July 24, with a full reveal at GGG Live on July 16.
Grinding Gear Games has also been teasing the new content ahead of time, including an ominous 'They Rise Again' trailer, as well as two new Transfigured skills for the upcoming league.
