Hey, just wanted to suggest another ad concept for mobile users. With a medium sized phone, a banner ad above the keyboard and a video ad below the logo and browser interface I often can't see what I'm typing since the comment in progress is covered by ads. I understand why you need ads, but could you be able to see what you write? Like a stripe of 20-30% of a mobile screen would stay free at least?
And, if possible no video ads for mobile users, they take more data than pictures or banner ads.

Video is a significant portion of revenue for the site, we can't get rid of it. I know it's shitty but at the end of the day, it has allowed us to grow more and I'll be honest, I'm a fan of that.

Without premium, you can minimize the video and the anchor ad that sits at the bottom of the screen though! Both have an "X" available on top of them that will turn it off for that page load.

I understand that the video ads are important for maintaining the website and I don't want to complain about them existing, but the issue I have with the video ad is its positioning on the mobile page.
At least on my phone (Google Pixel 4 XL), half the video ad following me over the page while scrolling is positioned over the header which makes trying to click the X button almost impossible and someone's gets in the way as well.
I'm not sure if this is possible, but it might help (at least in my case) to move the video to the bottom of the screen.
MurphysLaw, I find that enabling desktop site when on mobile really helps. You still get the ads but they're much less intrusive.
Also, I find the site much easier to navigate when using the desktop site.
Yesterday afternoon we deployed an update to the site with a new video ad provider. This should be more accessible to those on mobile devices when you want to close it. If there are any issues, we'll get them ironed out!

agreed, now its pretty good, it doesnt bother when we want to scroll down. the new system works quite well
