Card Database
The card database has been rebuilt for all eight card games: Hearthstone, Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Legends of Runeterra, Marvel Snap, Palworld TCG, and Mythgard. Every game now shares one design and is more informative.
Card lists:
Filtering is now instant. Pick a filter and the cards update right away, no page reload.
I do realize that in some situations this might not feel as good just because you have to see cards load in multiple times if you are going deep in the filters. Apologies for these more rare situations, this is just a more modern way of doing things.
A row of icons across the top lets you filter in one tap, like Hearthstone classes and mana costs or Magic colors.
Standard sets are shown first, with the rest behind a More sets button.
All cards, I own, and Missing buttons let you check a list against your collection.
Hearthstone, Runeterra, Marvel Snap, and Mythgard lists show collectible cards by default. Tokens and the rest are just one filter away.
Card pages:
A new layout with the card art front and center, glowing in its rarity color, and everything about the card beside it.
A stat strip shows the card's numbers (like Mana, Attack, and Health) the same way the rest of the site does.
Cards with alternate artworks or printings let you switch between them.
Decks that use the card, related cards, and guides are shown below.
Pokemon TCG now uses the official energy symbols everywhere energy shows up: attack costs, retreat, weakness, resistance, and the energy filters.
Decks
Deck lists and deck pages have been rebuilt for every deck game on one shared design: Hearthstone, Magic, Runeterra, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Marvel Snap, Palworld TCG, and Mythgard.
Hearthstone deck lists have a row of class icons at the top. Tap one to see only that class.
Hearthstone's deck filters no longer offer Twist, Classic, or Duels, since those formats are gone. Existing decks still open as before.
Hearthstone's Arena is also removed as a filter because people do not submit Arena decks to the website. Ever.
Realms
Every realm has a new hub page, with a Feed of the realm's news, guides, threads, and more, and a Discussions tab for the realm's threads.
The Feed has a lead story, a line showing what is new since your last visit, and a Latest discussions panel.
A New thread button sits right at the top.
Game realms with their own tools (Hearthstone, Magic, Runeterra, Pokemon TCG, Marvel Snap, and more) get a Game hub tab with every tool for that game in one place: card search, the card database, decks, sets, newest cards, and Hot decks.
Shop
The site shop has been redesigned.
Products are grouped into departments rather than categories: Avatar Borders, Profile Style, Your Stall, Supplies and Upgrades, Event Shops, and Game Extras.
The front page has shelves like New this week, Leaving soon, and Best sellers.
Try things on before you buy: preview a border or other cosmetic on your own profile.
On desktop, Quick view opens a product in a side drawer without leaving the page.
After you buy a cosmetic, Wear it now puts it on straight away.
Filter by collection, kind, or currency, hide what you own, or show only what you can afford.
Old shop collection links take you to the right place in the new shop.
Pixel Rim borders no longer leave an empty ring between your avatar and the frame.
Pins in the shop are drawn bigger, so you can see the art.
Sidequest
Sidequest got another huge update: creature fights all over the site with Venture, the Bestiary, a map of the site, an energy pool, the action wheel's new Gather and Venture rings, new stats, and Ooze Cores from every boss kill. Check out the full Sidequest update in the Sidequest realm.
Premium
Patreon supporters' premium is syncing again. Patreon retired the old system we used to check pledges, and "Sign in with Patreon" now uses their new one too.
Twitch subscriber premium is back as well. The Patreon problem had been holding it up since October 7.
General
There is a new Labs tab in Account Management where you can switch on new things before they launch for everyone. We will not always be running lab experiments, but we're more likely to now with Sidequest being in active development.
Gear you find while browsing, event page rewards, and treasure hunt clues now will always show a toast and a notification. You can switch these off with the new Random finds notification setting.
Bug Fixes
Word searches list each word only once. Starfield Word Search VIII listed Exploring twice and could never be finished, and 8 other word searches had repeats.
Comments on puzzles now link to their puzzle on the comments page.
Following a link to a comment that no longer exists now shows a normal not found page.
