When You Unintentionally Build A S Tier Deck

So eventually eternal ladder will be coming and this format will actually become important to pro players again.

But as someone who essentially already has had a 90% winrate in this format for the last two months I thought I'd talk about one of the best decks available.

Pirate aggro, while deck has never been bad it has been overshadowed by Annie Jhin statistically.

That all changed with the release of pirouette, Samara, and the new fearsome 1 drop.

I've played this exact matchup and my deck was faster, and most of it is thanks to the flexibility of the new champion being both a burn piece and a removal option.

she is insanely good, even offering the ability to ping block ping on the defensive.

So yes Nifty pirate aggro is format definer and if I see any eternal tier lists without its because your judgement is clouded with disliking me as opposed to objectively weighing the strength of the deck.

  • I see there are some fans who have been steam rolled by my deck already. Here's the list since out of cards stopped updating runeterra:

    3 - pigeons

    3 - edges

    3 -  butchers

    1 - saboteur

    3 - demos

    3- fervor

    3 - sprayfin

    3 - eyes

    3 - decimates

    The only pirate aggro card we arent running is Mirai warden, because we want to devalue pings as much as possible therefore all our one drops have two toughness meaning they have to be dealt with 1 for 1 usually at a mana deficate

    Now this deck is as good if not better than legacy Annie Jhin and you will start to see it pop up everywhere once ladder becomes a thing in Eternal and people actually start trying.

    If they don't start using it that's okay by me I'll fly to masters casually with a little weekend play, when I'm not working.

    Just like I did last season, as the card pool gets bigger I get stronger, sadly also the opposite is true.

  • Dude you guys can "try" as hard as you want and I can wiff on an agressive hand and it doesn't matter.

    I'm basically the new Swim I just win get over it.

    And isn't that the true mark of an S tier deck that I can draw a bottom 10% hand and still wipe the floor with a top 10% hand?

    So that was 5/5 in 10 minutes after getting past the jank nonsense and waking up a little bit. Was it good for you as it was for me?

    I can't even play 1 card without winning a game if that ain't an S tier deck piloted by an S tier eternal player I don't know what is?

  • Final post mortem on the deck and why it performs so well in 90% of matchups.

    I can't overstate it's ability to devalue certain cards and lines of play.

    Shadow isles - vile feast is a dead card

    Bandle city - pokey stick is a dead card

    Ionia - stuns and recalls are too expensive

    Bilgewater - make it rain is a dead card

    Freijord - you're putting them on specifically avalanche and blighted ravine

    P and z - needs to be high tempo like urchin, plus free mana, plus mystic shot

    Shurima - can only body block and you have pirouette for big value

    Targon - heal spam ain't great because of all our draw. For every heal we have burn and board presence

    Noxious - ironically noxious control get value removing larger midrange threats

    Demacia - what are you gonna do single combat a one drop? Ooooh scary

    So if there are only two regions that can effectively counter a particular strategy that is not only a good deck, it's a top tier deck.

    You dont need to be a genius player with 5 heads to do the math on that.

  • Goddamm you even gonna bring out Mogwais old ping burn list to try and stop me?

    That deck only worked when the poison dart value generator spawn on summon instead of attack.

    Like I said S tier, I can kick your guys *** up and down the internet from here and into yesterday.

    But you can't beat the king and his new S tier eternal deck sorry.

    Rank one, pro player, masters player, I don't care you're in Niftys house and you lose.

    Also part of it is skill gap the Echo Jinx player might of had me if he took the free block with echo that 1 dmg actually mattered and that free card would have been huge 4 u.

    Good decks can't fix stupid

    So maybe the opposite is true and when a good player plays a good deck it becomes insane either way good list long story short
