Easiest Diamond Climb Of My Life

If there's one thing I can't stand in card games its the ladder climb.

Unless I can brew an anti meta list that will win me somewhere close to 70% of my games so my time remains valuable.

I just jammed out to Plat in one small sitting using this anti meta overwhelm list.

It was easy as cake.

Feel free to try it out yourselves if you're feeling frustrated

      Thanks I'll try it out. Always nice to see some new lists.

      But I wonder, if you hate the ladder climb... Why do it? There isn't much to gain right? I'm playing mainly offmeta decks in Gold/Platinum and play the more meta decks or the offmeta decks which have proven themselves in the gauntlet for the prime glories. I'm even experimenting with homebrews straight on ladder instead of testing them in normal because my rank at the end at the end of the season does not matter at all. Or am I missing something?

    • I'm surprised people don't run Sej/ Renekton more, its pretty strong. I'm trying to get to Diamond with a Sej/ Teemo deck haha (plat 3right now), but it's probably just worse than yours in most respects.

  • I am very low level (yet) new player that casually plays runeterra so probably my expiriense is not very relevant. But I was able to climb pretty quickly from the bottom to gold with my brew anti meta deck (Dimassia\Targon) based on Garen\ASol + dragons. And Irelia\Asir is actually easyest deck to play against.

    It also works good enough vs Trash\Nasus and Lysandra\Trandl (the last one is most difficult from unholy tryo). It also works vs Draven and different forms of Noxus aggro but I do not see them too often this days.

    The most problematic for me is "Deep" and some rare decks like Lysandra\Zilean turbothralls or mono-Shurima Asir. IDK why.

  • Its is relavent because there are "gate keepers" at the beginning of silver.

    This is a phenomenon in all card games where experienced players troll lower ranks with meta decks.

    And I always like players who share newer lists regardless of experience levels

  • I would say that I hate the grind but I love the feeling of stumbling onto something that beats everything else people are playing.

    So if that means I can for example jam through gold while sitting outside in the sun on my phone thats a chill experience.

    But if I ever have to do the 54% winrate thing where you have to play 100 games to make progress I just can't do that.

    I was the same way in mtg arena when I climbed to diamond using a rebel burn list, and a super friends fires of invention list.

    In shadowverse I would use a behamut dirt list its just fun being unique and finding tech that works and is different.

  • Control a big hearthstone player used to run temo sej a lot but that was pre turbo meta. Not sure how it holds up now. God I miss fun decks.
