Karma and Taric Are The Worst...Statistically

Keep in mind that I absolutely love these champs and I don't believe winrates are the be all and end all

But in this instance 42 percent is insanely low

You know when Katarina is winning more than you, you might need a tweak

maybe it's time to bring karma down to 5 again so you can curve into her with lux for double laser

As it stands right now nerfing both her and Ezreal really doesn't give Karma a home anymore

Taric I'm surprised at, he does a lot of things that you want him to, and he shows up in a lot of lists.

I'm willing to just say that's people playing him wrong, but maybe he needs a small numbers tweak.

What do you guys think?

  • I think that Taric and Karma are both dangerous champions in that they are awful without support, but with proper support they can be insanely powerful. Karma has also been good in previous metas, but given that ASol is now a thing, she doesn't seem very viable. In terms of buffs, I think that lowering her cost would be a bit too scary. My preferred buffs would be:

    Taric: Gains "Play: Create a Gem in hand" and the Tough Keyword (so he's better as a blocker and less reliant on drawing buff spells)

    Karma: Gains Attune and her Level 1 Round Start effect becomes "Play or Round Start" (This is a minor change, but would make her less awful when removed the round she's played) 

  • I agree on the Ezreal nerf - I dont understand why they nerfed him.
    And your second point also - I think both cards have a high skill cap.

      Ezreal was the king of winning games he should have never won, just because he gets to do automatic nexus damage for every spellcast. Paired with Karma, it was an un-interactible OTK that felt ridiculous to lose to.

      Lee Sin is now filling the role that pre-nerf Ezreal used to fill. And how do we feel about that world, exactly? Happy about it are we?

      Ezreal was nerfed for the exact same reasons that Lee Sin is going to be nerfed.
