Lore

"While their exact numbers and goals have not been documented, official estimates place the Valkyrie population at no more than 1,000 individuals. Young mortal women of exceptional physical fitness have reportedly been recruited into the Valkyrie gangs. These women refuse interviews and whether or not they gain any divine abilities is so far still in question. Unfortunately, this process seems to result in the early death of most if not all of these women. " -William Gonnor, Ph.D Lecture on Northern Divinities, Oslo, Norway
