How Camping Works in World of Warcraft: Forever
World of Warcraft: Forever’s new Camping feature turns a simple campfire into a social mini hub with vendors, tradeskill workspaces, and sit-by-the-fire buffs. Professions can place campsite objects like a Blacksmith Sharpening Wheel (Strength), Tailor Faction Banner (Spirit), or Herbalist Incense Candle (Intellect), with more unlocks earned through skill levels, quests, and adventure-found blueprints.
Camping is a brand new feature coming to World of Warcraft: Forever and we've got all the details on how it works.
To kick things off, Blizzard has stated one of the goals of Camping is to allow players to meet other players; To add a social aspect to the game. The Cooking profession's campfire of years before now also creates a campsite allowing players to rest.
What is Available at a Camp?
Camps are not just a cozy campfire, they are an entire miniature rest stop. At a camp you will find:
Vendors to repair gear.
Vendors to sell your greys and unwanted gear.
Tradeskill workspaces.
Buffs!
Buffs at Campsites
Each campsite allows various professions to come by and make improvements to it which will allow other players to come and /sit by the fire to take advantage of different buffs. Three crafted objects can be placed at a basic campfire, with each player being allowed to place a single object.
Each profession has multiple objects they are able to choose to play at a campfire to grant buffs, with these being learned at different skill levels.

Blizzard has officially announced the following objects and buffs:
Blacksmiths can place a Sharpening Wheel which provides a Strength buff.
Tailors can place a Faction Banner which provides a Spirit buff.
Herbalists can place an Incense Candle which provides an Intellect buff.
These buffs are exclusive with other class buffs in the game. That means in the case of the Blacksmith, the Strength buff is the same buff you'd be getting from a Shaman's Strength of Earth Totem.
How to Get More Campsite Profession Objects
To learn the first object for a profession, you must reach 20 skill points. Future objects are found later on in the same tradeskills and can provide even more abilities to a campsite, beyond the buff. Here is an example of the Blacksmithing objects which include a placeable Anvil and Master Forge.

You learn your first object by reaching the associated skill level and completing a quest. Future unlocks will require finding a blueprint "during your adventures".

Legacy Perks for Camping
Legacy Points are earned through the Legacy System. The following are talents which target the camping system.
Reagent Economy: Your class abilities no longer require reagents purchaseable from vendors, and your Tier 1 camping features cost no reagents to craft.
Field Guide (3 Ranks): Reduces your cooldown on adding Camp features by 8%.
Permanence (2 Ranks): Your class abilities which grant long-duration stat or attribute benefits to all party or raid members last 50% longer, and the benefits you gain from resting at a camp last 50% longer.
