Around the time of the new Mini-Set's announcement, we also saw a brief development update posted on behalf of the Hearthstone Mercenaries team. It might've become initially overshadowed by all of the flashy card reveals, but it's still worth a closer look - excess coins solutions, end-game content, and more now on the horizon for the game mode!
Our patience has been rewarded, and at least some of our careful predictions have been confirmed - the Hearthstone Mini-Set for Murder at Castle Nathria is right around the corner! The trial begins on September 27 with Maw and Disorder taking center stage. And before that, a short and intense card reveal period!
It's almost time to stop hearing the whispers of the Old Gods, as this special limited-time C'thun event for Hearthstone Mercenaries has been active ever since August 16. At the designated hour on September 6, it will all come to an end simultaneously for all regions. You still have a day to finish up your tasks!
After the arrival of huge revamp for Battlegrounds and the new in-game currency in the form of Runestones, comes the usual Hearthstone ranked season. With it, a grand Fire Plume card back takes us back to Un'Goro. We also look closely at all other notable events and shop offers for the month of September 2022!
The previously announced major Hearthstone Patch 24.2 is now live (surprisingly, also becoming available just as quickly for mobile devices), and with it a strange Hearthstone reality sets in - with a new currency in the form of Runestones, huge Battlegrounds revamp, added game features, and more! Full details within.
The upcoming major Patch 24.2 isn't all about Hearthstone Battlegrounds, although it might certainly seem so at a glance. As it happens, the only other game mode to receive its own small devoted section is Hearthstone Mercenaries. Certain characters might just become better at PvE or PvP aspects of the game!
As the final special Old God event for Hearthstone Mercenaries has begun on August 16, two additional tasks were set to unlock with each consecutive day. They were all tied to respective server resets separated by game region, and as of now everything has become available - and will remain so until September 6!
It was 3 weeks ago when we first heard about the 6th special limited-time event for Hearthstone Mercenaries, and the final Old God C'thun has finally emerged in the game mode as of August 16. But as all of that happened during the crucial balance patch, we couldn't pay our respects until now. Full overview available!
It seems like Wildheart Guff really did not want to get banned from Hearthstone Duels, with the previously announced hotfix patch having to stop deployment in its tracks for more than half a week. But now it has returned in full force, with all of the planned Arena adjustments also active!
A small Hearthstone hotfix patch is on the way (server-side, no downloads necessary), but its initial deployment had to be paused. Once everything resumes, expect to see some balance changes for Duels and Arena, as well as a few bug fixes. More details and insights within!
With Murder at Castle Nathria now released, it seems to us that this month and Hearthstone's ranked season can begin in earnest. No better time to look at August 2022's special card back, Celestial Starlight, along with all other events and offers for the rest of the summer!
24 hours later (and counting), we've got a better idea which post-launch expansion issues we're dealing with early for Murder at Castle Nathria. Hopefully it won't take long for the fixes to arrive! Everything of note is detailed within.
