Does the 1/1 also get divine shield? It says “then” summon a 1/1 copy
Pretty good with cards like Dragonmaw Overseer in priest and Ancestral Guardian in Paladin but it has anti-synergy with deathrattles.
Yes the 1/1 will have divine shield.
5/5 card for midrange Pally. Redemption > Shotbot / Loot Hoarder / Murgur Murgurgle > this. A lil Vectus down the road and GG WP
A strong tool in both classes, but I think its a little better in Priest. It helps push the tempo-deathrattle archetype and can duplicate strong minions like everyone's favorite fellow human. In Paladin there are less things that get super value for being copied, but Paladin is already poised to be aggressive and this card could definitely be slotted in aggressive lists.
If you copy something with a previously triggered spellburst, would the copy also be spent or have its spellburst effect available?
Looking forward to getting to play this card, helps to actually turn lynessa into a real threat instead of something that just gets cleared with a single card every time. Can just pile on even more librams onto your minions the next turn
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Damn, had my hopes up this would trigger Making Mummies. Oh well.
That said, still a very solid support card for Reborn and Deathrattle decks. Also a buff card to Lady Liadrin.
If this has the same behavior as the other copy effects, I assume you copy the current state not the original of the minion. If cast on a un-activated spell burst minion, the spell burst is copied. If not, then spell burst is not copied.
Yes, if it's a copy of a minion with divine shield, then it gets divine shield.

Blood Knight is starting to get thirsty!
a very strong card in my opinion, but is naturally a combo card so card draw is a necessity to play this to any good effect.
Might just be one of those 'if only' cards, given that both paladin and priest cant draw for shit.
Still, the potential to be broken is there.
Suprisingly enough, the Divine Shield aspect of the card is what balances it out for the Priest side. This way, Priests cannot simply pop their expensive deathrattles twice in one turn but need to wait a bit to pop shield and then die.
Its a good card for Paladins as it is able to copy Librams and keep your minion alive, but I do not think it is good enough to be run in a deck. We will have to see.
This ain't no place for a hero
I think it is pretty strong. Most Priest spell that make copy of your minions are usually more expansive. This could fit both a control Paladin/Rez oriented or a tempo play to build up your board presence, multiply your deathrattle, etc., either way, pretty holly stuff!
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Divine Shield for Druid? Oh my. I just know this is going to be used on sticky taunt minions to make them even more annoying, among other things of course.

very strong card ... additional Convincing Infiltrator for three mana ...
I am 69 years old and still reach Legend
That's paladin, not druid.
3 mana clones spells are already available in priest, and they slot into raza priest to make copies of spawn of shadows fairly well.
This can be used there as well, but I wonder if paladins have any use for this.
This post is discussing the wild format.
The priest and the 2mana annoying arakkoa just became that much more sticky :(......

EU Legend: S52 (ZooHeal Lock); S76 (Highlander Hunter);
why do I get the feeling Priest will somehow be more annoying than Demon Hunter?
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I think Priest likes this card a lot but I don't think it can be run unless you want to cut down on your Apotheosis. A solid card to be discovered through Renew and absolutely insane with Sethekk Veilweaver but for that archetype this card is too slow. It's passable at least, but I don't think it's going to be an auto-include at least.
Meanwhile, Paladin has an issue of having very little synergy with a card like this. Paladins definitely want to play this on turn 3 but most of the time it'd probably just hit a Silver Hand Recruit instead of Shotbot or the Murloc Prime. I'm hoping Paladin gets a good legendary for its dual-class card so that there would be a reason to run this card.
Take my words with a grain of salt. I'm unranked and only play casuals lmao.
Wow, strong card - i guess my Aggro/Buff Priest is finaly going to be a thing :)
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
1/1 ds is just 1 mana (Argent squire) give a minion ds is also 1 mana (hand of protection) those 2 combined might be good enough for this to work.. But you probably want something relevant to copy (like an infiltrator or the 2 mana spell dude.
Support for strong deathrattles, could be very powerful with card like Khartut Defender or Convincing Infiltrator. The cost seems balanced. In the end I doubt this will make it into meta.
The card seems fair, meaning it's probably not broken enough to see play. But we are talking about paladin and priest here, who didn't have many viable decks.
For an ongoing effect or maybe deathrattle, this can be worthwhile, especially seeing this in priest and pally
Excited to try this in big paladin. Probably not broken, but copying huge minions in paladin sounds fu
Noice.
Should be at least playable. This is not exactly comparable to Unidentified Elixir (divine shield on two minions is not exactly +2/+2, sometimes its better, sometimes the buff is more important), but the 1/1 copy ability was often one of the better outcomes, and the shield on both seems great, so this should be playable.
Seems really powerful in Priest thanks to the Sethekk Veilweaver and Dragonmaw Overseer, both of which you want lots of copies on board and both of which are vulnerable. This is probably good in a lot of Paladin decks too - there are a few good deathrattles and loads of taunts for this if you're playing for value, and there's stuff like Sky Claw for aggro.
Decent in paladin, In standard this might get used in Quest Paladin so they can abuse the deathrattles/hero power synergy stuff even more. Also this will see play in Pure paladin, as pure paladin LOVES any kind of paladin card.
In priest it's GODTIER. This is the cheapest way in standard to copy a minions deathrattle, and priest can use this to do the fellowing insta-win combos:
Insta-Win Combo #1: Gift of Luminance + Convincing Infiltrator. "Gr3Et7Ng2 F3lL0w HuM0n2." (any opponent just concedes.)
Insta-Win combo #2: Gift of Luminance + Khartut Defender. "0uR H0m3S, oUr 7uM8s" (Super effective against DH's in particular.)
This has incredible synergy with ress priest and Big priest, so i'm sure this will be used a lot, and i wouldn't even be surprised if this wil get nerfed to 4 mana, just because of Priest's sins. Needless to say, I HATE THIS CARD ALREADY.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I'm thinking of Winged Guardian, Archspore Msshi'fn, or Ancient of War.

The problem with 1/1s copies is that you mostly want to cast this in kind of abilities in deathrattle minions, however, this card adds the divined shield which makes it more difficult to kill. Regardless, could work well in Murloc Pala, Libram Pala or Resurrect priest.
I don't see this card being played. I just simply don't think any deck needs this card. Priests have enough ways to copy things, and paladins don't have a ton of things they want to copy.
I don't think the card is bad, but I don't think any "top tier" deck will be playing this.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Paladin can give a minion divine shield for 1 mana with Hand of Protection.
Priests can make copies of their minions for as little as 3 mana with Vivid Nightmares (in wild) that has the same attack but with (1) health.
So a 3 mana spell, that gives a minion divine shield and then makes a 1/1 copy of it doesn't sound mana efficient, until you consider what Paladins and Priests have to copy.
Paladin's Libram spells, particularly Libram of Wisdom is very popular in constructed, and the deathrattles copied would double the value of spells received. Where as Priests have several minions who would benefit from having duplicated, such as High Priest Amet, Convincing Infiltrator, Sandhoof Waterbearer, Dragonmaw overseer and skeletal dragon.
minions with taunt, deathrattle, and even reborn become very powerful candidates for this spell. Other minions with after turn effects are also strong candidates, if they can live long enough to receive the buff
I feel like it's slightly too weak at 3, but it would be slightly too strong at 2. I guess better for a card to be too weak than too strong.
But copying effects are usually strong, and this works as a minion buff and an effect copier. 3 stars I'd say.
I don't see much use for this card, but i'm sure some genius deckbuilder will think of something brilliant with it
This looks pretty nice. Copying minions with cool effects will be great. Copying deathrattles will also be good, but then it gets a Divine Shield, which you don't necessarily want on your deathrattles.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Great on paper, but hard to find a use.
I suppose Grave Rune seemed the same and it sees play so we'll have to see how it pans out.
Gift of Luminance fits pretty well into both Libram Paladin and Cube Priest in my eyes.
In Libram Paladin, its a great way to consistently get multiple copies of Libram of Wisdom without having to only rely of Lady Liadrin, allowing for those multiple Libram of Wisdom pressure turns to happen sooner.
In Cube Priest, this acts almost like a cheaper Psyche Split so its easily more usable with Grave Rune in the same turn, allowing for those sticky boards to happen sooner.
Also, Gift of Luminance counts towards the discount on Devout Pupil, which also works great in both decks.
For glory, honor, and gold!
Strong effect but rigtht now I can immagine to play it just in Tempo Priest or Rez Priest
Good for both, insane for Priest. :D
Thanks to denial, I'm immortal.
Cool, another way for Priest to summon deathrattle minions...
Interesting card, has possibilities
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
Deathrattle shenanigans, though delayed by the shields...
I like this card, and I think it will see play. I also like how priest/paladin and priest/warlock cards have synergy with both classes, more so it seems to me than a lot of other pairings.
Hard to say what exact targets you want with this, but seems pretty good.
Look realy strong, but i dont know if is a deck for it.
nice cost, again good in effects or otk decks
All hail the banshee queen.
Nice effect, but you want to hit specific minions with this. It kind of feels like a waste on a Silverhand Recruit.
Use on Magnetic mech decks. Wild gets you a huge board by Turn 2 so use this to duplicate your most powerful mechs.
More buffs... Yes!
But will be a 1/1 "powerfull" mech.
That spell is for deathrattle and ability synergy like.
By The Holy Light!
This card is going to be annoying no matter how you cut it.
Not looking forward to playing against, but I suspect it will be norm for at least Priest with any kind of defensive taunt game plan.
A fairly basic/boring card for both classes really.
Putting all eggs in one basket is never a good thing, but right now HS seems to be "I do me, you do you", so this can steal some games before the mentality shifts to spot removal and/or silence.
Is this the card that finally pushes a more aggressive Priest into the spotlight, using their early game 'end of turn' buffers as the targets? Probably not, but I'll certainly mess around with it.
Welcome to the site!
Combo potential
-=alfi=-
Good for Libram of Wisdom buffed minion in order to have more copies of it
More fun for Pure Paladins with their Librams!
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
Plenty of targets for this spell to see play, but I don't think it'll be a staple, maybe more of a 2 turn combo control tool
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Strong card, not only does it give a minion and extra layer of defense as it also allows for some Deathrattle crazyness. Possible to see play.
