So tomorrow must be Soraka right?
I like having an alternate win-con like Fiora, the question is whether the land mark must be on the board to see all the heal or it work like Maokai does (when the condition are met, you just play it and win)
Edit: i'm not reading carefully, the landmark has to be on the board. Now this is quite hard to achieve i believe, but this can serve as secondary gameplan.
The big question is: What kind of Landmark removal will there be in each region, and will it be flexible enough to use against opponents that don't run Landmarks? So far, so good. Still waiting on more regions to report in.
Your opponent can't heal their units if they don't have any.
I like the new cards. It seems that only Targon can remove landmarks, not a big fan of that
Bilgewater also can.
Oh, right
Edit: but Bilgewater does it with an 8 mana slow spell card that you have to include in your deck, Targon with a 3 mana fast spell that they would include in their deck already for the tutor effect. Targon can even discover cards that destroy landmarks. My point was more that i'm afraid we'll see a lot of Targon and other landmarks won't see any play because Targon can destry them too easily and the loss in tempo is too much
They said existing cards from other regions would be modified to interact with Landmarks. We just don't know which ones yet.
I remember that they talked about two celestial cards, comet and something else being adjusted. But i'm very happy to be wrong
I rewatched the announcement, and you're right -- they only specifically call out Targon cards. But I think it would be beyond insane if they don't spread the love a bit.
I remember them confirming that Singular Will can also remove Landmarks. If Will of Ionia and Minah Switfoot can also remove landmarks, then it should be easy to remove them in Ionia.
Is it just me or does Star Spring seem a bit OP? I’d be willing to pay 2 mana for its effect in a scars deck without even the possibility of it just winning me the game. Also, this card could encourage players to not attack or block, similar to how the Healing Quest in HS caused players to not attack the opponent to prevent healing. However, I do think that the amount of self-damage present in LoR is high enough that a player could win without the opponent ever killing their units. Plus, drawing the Star Springs early will require some luck (although the Tutor card helps a lot).
I think that Divergent Paths could also be problematic because it’s like a 3 Mana Deny for Landmarks. Hopefully it won’t oppress the meta and stop Landmark decks from being successful.
Think about using it with Regen cards ... Freljord regeneration plus Targon this thing and Star Shepherd.
I like these cards way more than yesterday's.

Well... i suppose this is what Tahm's followers are for.
Healing is cheating confirmed then. 22 is a weirdly specific number, I wonder if there's a reason for it.
Playtesting, I would assume.
I have a strange feeling we're going to see a lot of people holding onto at least something to target landmark removals :D
