So lvled up at attack is atleast a 6-7 with 3 mana for challenger for Shyvana herself or a friendly unit.

    Pretty good.

Dealing 12 damage with dragons isn't that hard especially since Demacia's removal mostly consists of strike spells.

She's even better than I expected!

I like that she heals a little bit every time she attacks, on top of the Rage buff. The generated card is actually bonkers.

To me, the entire dragon archetype looks like an attempt to lure hearthstone players into Legends of Runeterra,

It reeks of Hearthstone card design and represents a Statstick tribal playstyle that is easy to grasp but ultimately very vanilla and unappealing to players like me to want to build stronger and more versatile decks.

With shyvana you are going to have the bigger units for sure but will you win the game like that? I doubt it.

The archetype will for sure have a high average winrate because it is so simple to play.

Will it shape top tier? Well that would really surprise me. But I don't mind getting surprised.

Maybe it is enough to have raw stats in order to win games...

Just as an Idea: how about telling from time to time why you dislike certain comments instead of just downvoting them?

It is not productive at all if you just say "I don't like that oppinion " because that is not what get us anwhere on this forum.

We are here to discuss aren't we?

And it should also be legit to give negative feedback about new content right?

If you bring up points, one can discuss them. If you just go like: thats a bad oppinion or I don't like this guy so i dislike his comments well... then this forum is pointless

Her level 1 is quite weak, if she attacks it's a 4/5 for 4.. that's vanilla stats! I guess the 1 hp is an heal sometimes so it's slightly better than that on attack but I dislike when a champion card has a below average level 1 like that..

level 2 is strong though so it's probably worth and the level up is not that hard to do, since she should count for it too, also you run her on a mainly dragon deck and the dragons seem good.

Also another point coming from league.. the card seems to not represent Shyvanna well at all!  what on her is being a huge dragon that spits fireballs?

@TheTriferianGeneral You are wrong on the first line of your comment I don't see  how the dragons of LoR compare to the dragons in HS except 2 cards having "behold a dragon" which is different from holding it as well since it counts dragons on board. that being said I am not the one who down voted you this thread and you don't need to be angry about people disagreeing with you.. I assure you it's not malice for most people who downvote comments they think are wrong.

What i meant that all dragon themed cards that i saw have a hs tribal vibe (not dragons in particular) they all follow the formula "put 20 cards of that tribe into your deck and you will benefit". This in my oppinion is neither encouraging interesting deck building nor interesting gameplay. You still can like and play it, but i don't like it and won't play it myself.

I wouldn't call that a hearthstone design.. yugioh did that back at 2002.. iin GX at least the GBA game you had pure element deck from all 6.. I know cause played that game a lot..

still recall dragon warrior from Whispers of the old gods having 6 dragons and I think only the charger as synergy? in the refined state so.. it's not really "throw all cards of that type and call it a day" even in HS and in early YGO they actually did just that for deck archtypes..

IDK how it's in magic.. but maybe it's also like that..

You don't have to run all dragons, also you don't have to go Demacia/Taragon..

Same way spider decks currently are SI/Freljord. (they who endure)

Because that's not how the forum works?  If someone disagrees they are allowed to just downvote your opinion.

It is not productive at all if you just say "I don't like that oppinion " because that is not what get us anwhere on this forum.

Depends, many people find certain types of comments abrasive or offputting.  If you make a statement that is very polarizing and doesn't leave any room for people to actually discuss most people will just downvote and move on as opposed to discuss it.

And it should also be legit to give negative feedback about new content right?

People will disagree with you in life.  It's best to not get upset when someone disagrees with you, either overtly or discreetly.

Now, let me respond to your other comment quote below.  Responses for this will also in Orange.

And this is a bad thing…why?  Your opening statement makes it seem like if someone plays hearthstone they are simple minded and can't grasp the superior complexity of LoR. (sarcasm) And therefore luring people from hearthstone is making the game worse.  In short your opening statement is a passive form of gatekeeping.

It reeks of Hearthstone card design and represents a Statstick tribal playstyle that is easy to grasp but ultimately very vanilla and unappealing to players like me to want to build stronger and more versatile decks.

Again, "reeks of Hearthstone card design" is not a way to foster any open communication.  You do realize there are plenty of people who play BOTH games for different reasons, yes?  I enjoy both LoR and HS for different reasons.  They have similarities obviously being in the same type of game, but have pretty big differences too.  Each makes them enjoyable for different people in different ways.  Also,  something not being appealing to you does not mean that it doesn't deserve to be in the game.

With shyvana you are going to have the bigger units for sure but will you win the game like that? I doubt it.

    Conjecture. Moving on.

The archetype will for sure have a high average winrate because it is so simple to play.

Also conjecture in multiple assumptions.  And yet somehow contradicts the very last sentence you made.  In the previous sentence you said "but will you win the game? I doubt it."  And then in the very next one you say it will have an average high winrate because it's so simple to play.  You can make conjecture, but it helps if you actually stick with the same story instead of flip flopping your opinion every other sentence.

Will it shape top tier? Well that would really surprise me. But I don't mind getting surprised.

Maybe it is enough to have raw stats in order to win games…

You asked for someone to respond why they were downvoting you, so I obliged.

The latest sets of cards are way less interesting than Bilgewater expansion. Too much simple, dull, lazy, vanilla stuff, midrange, memes and random discoveries to attract HS players / redditors, because the popularity of the game is dwindling. On the other hand Bilgewater is so, so, so much fun - but it's broken. :) Every card is 'no bullshit' card; while others do useless stuff, all pirate cards simply hit the life total, again and again. The Nexus health is only 20hp, which is silly, but for me this is the best thing this game features (+ not able to go beyond 20). Feel free to do your complicated lines of plays, I'll just smack you in the head, refill and do that again... Because... why not? In a game balanced by 2 people. Regarding the fact they are attempting to make the game similar to HS, encouraging simplicity and accessibility... it can be a double edged sword. The main reason people have chosen to play LoR is just to move away from HS rng clown fiestas and to get a bit of more complicated gameplay. They don't want the game to be the same as HS. And by this you can only lose these players while not even getting new ones because the game will still be more confusing than HS. The initial design alone restricts LoR to become widespread (as HS), even if it has basically a free economy. Riot needs more good tournaments. Wasting time playing HS, even in the shittiest state, can be justified if it attracts people (real competitors) to earn some money there, who influence others to not quit, and that it's worth investing.

    To Sykomyke

Collected answer for part 1: I mean you have a point, discussing in forums is not for everyone and dislikes are just the more silent part of the conversation. My oppinion is polarised and that was not unintended since I clearly dislike over simplistic (some call it even nobrain) archetypes. Demacia dragon is not the worst kind of the easy decks - looking at cycling decks in MTG- but it is one of them in a game like legends of Runeterra that so far always found a middleground between simple to grasp and hard to master.

This leadst to the collected answer of part 2:

I don't see how demacia dragons will have much of a learning curve, they will perform at a high AVERAGE winrate (54%) therefore. Meanwhile it won't be a deck that improves it's performance much over the number of games played (which fits shyvana quite well, since she is one of the champions in LoL that have a lower winrate on mains than on average) and I expect other decks to outperform demacia dragons IF you are good with them.

Dragon decks can have their place in the meta but I find them unteresting and I am not affraid to openly mention my disappointment that they got realeased as such a vanilla archetype.

    And about HS players:

I ... do not like them ...and i'll spare concrete and disrespectful comments on them.

I just... don't want to have them in my game to take 1 minute to make an simple pass/attack.
