  • was theoricrafting a N'Zoth, God of the Deep + Embiggen druid and this could fit the deck has some spells

the deck has some spells and need a lot of rush minions..

  • Stats for cost, it sucks, but considering the odds of playing it for free pretty consistently in almost any viable Druid's list - without even considering the possible buffs and summoning cheats ... - think this is good.

  • Casting 7 spells is super easy for Druid. And really, you only need to cast 4 spells to get value from this. This will definitely see play, it is just too easy to get this down to 3 or less mana.

  • Even with how easy it can be to get the discounts, I don't think this will see play.  Maybe in spell-based Token decks to more keep up board control, but idk, I'm not impressed on initial looks.

  • Fits really well in Embiggen druid in standard, and it fits in Kael'thas Sunstrider Druid. Seems like a solid card. Weak on first glance, strong when you look at the synergy. (Mainly when buffed by Survival of the Fittest.

Standard: Kael'thas Sunstrider Druid, and maybe spell based token druid decks? But those prefer little to no minions...

Wild: Not sure what kinda deck you want to slot this in. Cards like this have always been good in wild, but i'm just unsure as to what kind of deck wants this. OTK druid really doesn't want this, because its bad with Juicy Psychmelon.

  • 0 mana 4/4 with Rush. I don’t think you run this with Guardian Animals because this will get pulled once its cost is reduced enough. Maybe in Quest Druid which loves to play free stuff?

    • maybe could see this fitting in to a spell druid probably not though

  • This is a nice useful card. Hard to say how playable it will be.

  • Good as a 2 mana or less creature, otherwise meh.

  • Corridor Owl should not be slept on, token druid runs a lot of spells.

  • In a meta flooded with mana ramping SPELLS and Guardian deck that got a few bonuses to help it survive the Aggro onslaught, this just found a few homes in Druid builds. Malygos Druid may see some come back

  • 0 mana 4/4 Rush.... ok Blizzard...

  • 🐛In the dungeon I go deeper🐛
    🐛in set reviews I was a sleeper🐛
    🐛when minions die I get cheaper🐛
    🐛You guessed it right🐛
    🐛I'm corridor creeper🐛

  • It always flabbergast me why druid keeps getting all these neat potentially 0 mana cards when other classes clearly needs tempo themselves. Druid was supposed to be that late game class, that gives up their early game for fantastic turns later.

Basically we're looking at a free 4/4 around turn 7. Or otherwise, its usually 3-4 mana by turn 5-6, assuming druid isn't just twiddling their thumbs.

And before your start thinking that this card will at very least be benign, it has rush, so chances are it will get a nice value trade to loosen the pressure while druid do druid things a few turns later.

So, 5/5 then. What else can there be?

  • I'm a bit surprised at the positive reviews here: yes, it's likely to be really cheap but I don't see a 4/4 reliably removing the threats you're wishing it to remove around the turns this finally gets played.

There's always a good chance I'm horribly wrong but I just don't see the power of this yet.

  • Rule number #23 of Hearthstone: Never underestimate the power of something that can potentially cost 0. Casting a lot of spells is already something Druid likes to do, and this gives you a 0 mana 4/4 with Rush.

  • Eh I think its gonna be pretty powerful and seen quite a lot like demon said freebies are always dangerous

  • I feel this card is a bit lackluster. If it was a 4/5, then sure it's decent, but I feel the high requirement of casting 7 spells and buffing this minion isn't worth it. There's better cards out there

  • Not a build-around card, but seems strong because of Druid's love of spell-slinging.  0 mana cards are always worth looking at.

  • Corridor Creeper on steroids

Druid use to play lots of spells, and that card can be played for 0 mana easily.

And any card cheated to 0 mana is dangerous.

    5/5

  • Even if Druid is a class that plays lots of spells, I don't see why people are getting excited over this card. It's a 4/4 with rush, which is not very good even if you manage to drastically reduce its cost. Best-case scenario is you'll be playing this in the mid-game, with its pitiful 4 attack might not even remove some threats and might not even stick on the board because of its equally pitiful health. The upside of this being reduced to 0 mana doesn't salvage its mediocrity, I'm afraid. Why would you let this take up space in your deck?

  • Bad card, nothing to see here.

  • Pretty easy to get this down to 0 in Druid, but might not be good enough. Will have to wait and see.

  • This is the strangest Giant card i have ever seen

  • I think Druid has late game swings covered with Guardian Animals, Anubisath Defender, and now Strongman. The discount with Umbral Owl might be too slow when you compare it to the mentioned cards that provide an immediate discount to 0 mana. Also, Druid wants potentially cheap removal in the early game when they are weakest, which Owl cannot reliably accomplish for the main Druid decks right now.

  • Ever since Corridor Creeper, I try to stay optimistic about "Reduce mana cost by (1) for each...". Not sure the right balance of this and Fungal Fortunes though.

  • Druid having mana cheating cards is a must in mostly every expansion. Will see play for sure.

  • Auto-include for Spell-centric decks, especially easy to knock down to 0-cost with Nature Studies and the Eclipses.

  • This might be okay if it were generated from something but not actually put in the deck.

  • A decent number of spells is fairly easy for Druid, especially if you're looking for a higher curve on your minions and you run mostly spells at the low end to ramp into it. I don't know that a 4/4 Rush is all that amazing though, even if you manage to get it down around Turn 3 or 4.

  • It's no Mulchmuncher. I know, different decks and such, but the same effect: do what your deck does, get free rush minion.

  • Not the greatest of cards, even with the discount I'm not sure it'll fit in any Druid deck

  • Very good card. Gives slower spell Druids a way to cheat out a cheap Rush minion, and there are probably builds of Token Druid that run this as well. Will see play.

  • How many druid decks want to play a 4/4 minion on the turns that it will be before discounting this to a reasonable number? I don't see this as being very viable.
