4 mana play a 3/4 minion that deal 6 damages, really strong.
Murlocs <3
4 mana 3/4 with 3 damage to two enemy minions. It's not a great legendary, but decent.
OBLIVION!
I like it, but Outcast cards above 3-mana usually need to be really good to justify rearranging your hand for them.
It is at least a very strong tempo card so perhaps, if Midrange DH is a thing this will see play for the tempo swing alone.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Seems strong. DH always nice legendary card
Without Outcast he seems pretty weak and I'm not sure if the effect is truly worth running him. Not the kind of stats Demon Hunter players are usually looking for.
Decent card... especially with outcast

Why is the wording so weird? Why does it not say "Outcast: this gains Immune this turn" or something similar to this?
vs aggro this is king of value but vs big minions you need some after spells or minions to clear them still i like it .
Seems interesting. Love the idea plus positioning mattering on your opponents part is a plus.
Casual Dragon Cardgame enthusiast.
After the way too op start last year we're getting to the point where even demonhunter gets shit legendaries :D
(I know, this could be useful, but still)
Very strong early game. As for late game, we still need to see if it has any cards that synergize with it and make it more promsing.
Early game this is a 4-5 star card. Late game it's 2 stars at best.
Banned for spamming.
This seems like an all around solid card for DH. The Battlecry can help a lot with field position, but if it is Outcast, then it can help to establish the board.
4 mana pseudotargeted Multi-Shot (at best), outcast: summon a 3/4.
Weak legendary, needs more support to shine.
By The Holy Light!
It is a much more consistent Multi-Shot with a body attached. This will definitely see play in a lot of different demon hunter decks. It is very efficient for it's cost and does a lot to get you ahead on the board.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
good value for 4 mana. outcast would make it really powerful
Effective removal for cheap, seems good!
If you can play this guy with Outcast active, he's great. Otherwise, kind of weak. Ultimately probably more of an aggro mirror tech card than anything else.
Maybe hard to get to go off. Probably goes in a low curve, outcast deck, which may be a thing now.
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
This can hit a single minion twice :)
Team 5 continues to overestimate the difficulty of getting Outcast value. Ugh.
Good early game card to let you take control. Does it attack one minion twice if it is the only minion on their side?
The effect is good, but it so not feels as Legendary as other abilities. Could have been a bit more expensive epic card.
Its not really that bad, but far from good. The problem is that your opponent will surely be playing around this card, so any impact will likely be less than we think. Also there's the fact that it has to be outcasted to ever be good, because of how poor his health is.
The correct comparison would be Illidari Felblade, which at very least lets you choose your targets and sports a high enough attack stat that will almost always kill something. This card, with its meager 3 attack, would only kill if your opponent makes a mistake, or if there's only 1 minion on board.
Im not sold on this card as yet, but there's still plenty of cards down the line, so I'll just chalk this up to a maybe, but that's a very small maybe buried in mud.
Multi-Shot on a stick, even better if this is able to hit the same thing twice.
Seems alright
As far as legendary cards go it is alright. Nothing overly flashy.
Effectively, this is non-targetable rush, and will often be unplayable if it's not outcast. It's not amazing even if it IS outcast. I don't see how it fits the demon hunter strategy.
Good board control card, just don't see any Demon Hunter decks that really want this effect. Most DH decks just kind of ignore the board and smack your face until they clear the board completely. Neat to get off Illidari Studies tho.
Seems alright. Not fancy as Altruis or Illgonth. If it's not in outcase, the stats aren't great though. I think this card won't appear in many DH decks, but may see play from Illidari studies.
I´d definitely play it if I open it. Cool card.
♡ u 4ever 2008 - 2022
Really strong card especially if outcasted. Im not a big DH player but im sure this will be on alot of their lists
strong DH legendary
Wow, a not OP DH card!
Jokes aside, it actually feels good enough. Depending on the meta, this might be realllyyyy goood
Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.
Decent card. To be strong we must play in early game with outcast. If other card will synergized this will find a spot in some agro/mid range deck...otherwise will be a "stronger" Illidari Felblade
I dig it. He's not huge, so you won't be removing any large targets, but he can definitely make an impact.
"Be excellent to each other." -Bill and Ted
Definitely has some good applications. Great if you can play it on curve with the outcast effect. Nice answer to stealth minions too... But is it worth the work to get it into outcast position? I dunno
Just good, not great. Blizzard finally suceeds at balancing DH.
Will only see play if outcast. Otherwise it's kind of lackluster.
Should be good, a little weak for a Demon Hunter card though so I don't know how often this actually gets played outside of Illidari Studies
it does curve from ace hunter kreen, so it doesn't necessarily need the outcast, but I have a feeling it'll be good in a midrange/control deck? I mean Dire command? (I can't remember the name of the spell, but the one for hunter which dealt 3 damage and summoned a 3/3 wolf) was really good, and this feels better than that (minus synergies)
Good tempo card. Plus DH has decent card draw to outcast it.
This is okay by itself, but really good if you can pull off outcast.
Since it's battlecry effect is mandatory, this card could easily turn into a 4 mana deal 3 damage to the left-most enemy minion which isn't great. I don't think a deck would want to play this unless the player knows they will be able to get the outcast effect off consistently.
Ribbit
Potentially better Multi-shot.
Finally a balanced Demon Hunter legendary! This seems really intuitive to have the opponents of Demon Hunter playing their minions... wait for it.... in the 'outcast' position as a form of counterplay! Maybe this should have been included in the class identity from the start and there might not have been so many problems with the class. This minion will suck if there are a lot of deathrattles in the meta.
I guess this will be an ok card. I do wonder what happens if there is only one minion on board. Does it get hit twice?
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
I like how impactful the battlecry is.
A+ for creativity so far with out of bound effects
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
I'm going to call this decent. Can remove 2 minions for you, but almost certainly won't survive doing so unless you can outcast it.
Seems intrinsically strong, though does depend if midrange DH sees play - a multishot strapped onto a 3/4 seems a solid addition.
I think this will see very little play not because it is weak but because it is not hitting face. DH thus far still lacks any reason to go a different route outside of aggression and weapon damage.
That's a fine, fair tempo card (for a legendary). It's nice to see that positioning may matter a bit more in the future.
And handbuff exists, though it feels weird to say that while discussing Demon Hunter.
Better call Thrall!
Makes DH even stronger
Rogue DH
I used to play Illidari Felblade way back in Ashes of Outland, and it was a solid Tempo card in Aggro DH at the time, so I think this is a pretty decent card.
Unfortunately, Illidari Felblade was one of the first to get cut out of my decks in Scholomance, so I likewise don't think Kurtrus will be worth crafting over.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
This is thematically appropriate support for control DH, and I hope that becomes a thing in Wild.
For a legendary, this card is a very conditional one, because if you can't activate the outcast, maybe it only kills one minion. The real tempo of this card lies in his outcast only.
Really situational, but most of the times a good card and on outcast position very good even if you dont kill the enemy minions, you give then 6 damage and a 3/4 body for only 4 mana
So this card has to be played on turn 4 or it's not really going to do much. If played in the late game without immune, it'll prob hit one big minion then die. So this card is only really good against aggro where minions health it 3 or lower. Most times you want to outcast this, but you can't leave it too late or it may become ineffective. It's also something that DH isn't well known for (board control). Overall, it will be a good card if aggro is rampant again
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
One word: Slow. (for DH class
More flexible than it seems at first glance, could make the difference both in an aggro matchup and to remove a taunt vs slower decks
only valuable when outcasted. 4 health is not too much to attack two enemies, especially if the "left" enemy is strong (assuming it's always left / right and not random)
I am 69 years old and still reach Legend
Has to be outcasted otherwise it won't get both hits most of time.
wow dh legendary on steroids
I'm not online it's just your imagination
A DH legendary which isn't OP :O
Disclaimer: if the above is factually incorrect or complete rubbish it is definitely both intentional and comedy genius.
when played as outcast pretty good tempo card, but doesnt fit the currecnt dh decks. Maybe when discovered from ilidari studies it will eb halpful
This looks pretty strong! Pretty good for removal.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
pretty good but why dh would run it when they have better removals
Nice take on Outcast flavor and effect. Good card but very situational, I can see this being chosen from Illidari Studies rather than included from the start in constructed.
Attack from battlecry seems interesting
Aggro ftw
Somewhat-targeted multi-shot with a 3/4 body if outcasted. Feels very DH, but I am still unsure if a lot of Demon Hunters archetypes will include this card.
Really good against aggro decks. I see it more geared towards control.
At least I feel that anyway.
Control DH meta? Nah.
Papa Nurgle wants to share his gifts.
Actually a pretty good card for all kinds of DH decks. Aggro/tempo DH appreciates being able to clear opposing minions while also playing minions, and Kurtrus Ashfallen with the outcast effect helps a lot. Control/Soul/Midrange DH also appreciate being able to remove some minions. Kurtrus Ashfallen is a strong DH card, which will see lots of play.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
This is hard to cast with Outcast
-=alfi=-
Good ability, but situational (for example vs control)
Interesting
As others have pointed out: it's very situational, i.e., limited to the early game when you manage to Outcast it.
I'm sure it'll be toyed around with in some aggressive decks, but I think it'll be put back on the shelf quite quickly.
Started playing HS in May, 2015. The bad news: I missed the excitement of 'Naxx out?' and GvG. The good news: I never met an Undertaker.
Pretty decent. Does a lot for it’s cost. At worst it is a targeted multi-shot for the right and left most minion on your opponent’sboard.
Hype for use this card
I can't see the deck where you would play this yet seems too clunky.
love it!
if this can hit a single minion twice, then it is a pretty good card.
Good board clear with a body! Early game board control.
Very cool card with some neat and new ways of doing stuff. I like the continuation of the left/right most minion effects, and the outcast while amazing, is not required for this to be good.
I think it's only worth it if it gets both attacks off. Good tempo if it allows you to remove 2 minions. Outcast obviously guarantees both attacks, but probably not worth rearranging your hand for; there are other, stronger Outcast effects.
Kurtrus Ashfallen reminds me of Star Student Stelina: it's powerful when Outcasted, it's insanely bad when not Outcasted. And although Star Student Stelina didn't see play, that was mostly because aggro had so many better tools than her. Since a good number of those tools are going, Star Student Stelina can find a place on that deck.
Kurtrus Ashfallen, however, can't. His effect is control oriented, so it provbably won't find a place on aggro DH. Also, LIfesteal OTK DH tends to struggle somewhat with utilizing Outcast cards to their fullest potential, so I expect Kurtrus Ashfallen to be a tech option on that deck, but not a mainstay.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)
Wins per class (2/6/22): DH-197; Druid-996; Hunter-91«60; Mage-1056; Paladin-1126; Priest-746; Rogue-961; Shaman-1095; Warlock-871; Warrior-906
I dont' know. Its pretty good with outcast, but activating it might be too clunky
English is not my native language, so please excuse occasional mistakes
If you can play it with Outcast, it's pretty good!
If not, then it seems kinda bad. Eh, maybe it'll be playable? I can't really tell with this one.
I'm not sure how this minion works; will it attack the left- and right-most minions simultaneously, or one by one? If it's the latter, this will probably be a bad removal tool unless it gains that outcast effect. Not a very good card, imo.
Basically you've got Illidari Felblade for removing one medium threat, whereas this removes two smaller threats - if you're lucky enough that your opponent forgets this card exists. It's slightly better than Felblade imo, but that's still bad in DH.
Probably the strongest card revealed so far.
Seems underwhelming.
Can't DH usually do more for less? And more consistent?

Hmm... without "aldris the outcast" this guy could hit some divine shield minion and doing nothing... also i don't know if the second attack goes on if he dies from the first one
For The HORDE!
higher cost outcast could slow it a bit, as u really dont waste this potentially good card cuz its very mediocre without outcast
Good card, will definitely see a lot of play.
I've been here a while; just hanging out in the background.
Decent card when played with outcast effect.
I hope this card and some other make control DH a thing
I hope, in the future, they will come up with tools that allow you to control 'outcast' wording on its own.
I can see this being a very strong staple card for DH.
At this point I have spent too much money on these games to quit.
Now pass me another pack, and lets see what I pull.
good card
Kenny's little poet. 😇
What do you mean, like Shudderwock with battlecry ?
Great Value. Amazing card.
For example, such wording 'when this minion is on the board, all outcast cards can be activated no matter in which position they are'.
Control DH with Death?
Strong card in any type of deck.
Quite bad to be honest
Crushing Walls anybody?
4 Mana 7/7
Remove two minions and stay on the board. Sign me up.
Solid removal card on 4, hit 2 for 3 and leave a 3/4 on board.
Reminds me of Illidari Felblade, hits less but affects 2 minions instead of 1.
Wow!
very strong
Solid control card for deathrattle dh
Great pull off of studies
Might be ok in a package with Redeemed Pariah and Line Hopper along with other outcast cards. I don't expect this card to be good enough to be an auto-include in every deck.
Arena > Wild > Standard
very nice board clear
Could be an OK board control tool in the early game, and I like that it might force an opponent to think about how they want to arrange their minions. Decently powerful, but not something so pushed that it has to be run in every deck. Having Immune when Outcast is a nice touch. This is a decent minion, maybe it sees some play.
I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.
situational card, outcast effect makes it slightly better
This just seems a bit boring for Legendary card. But, its decent.
Love the art on this card. The effect should be strong against other aggro decks, so maybe it'll see some play
As Outcast great card. Auto play as topdeck after 4th turn
Not great
Might see play in future DH decks if there ever will be a tempo one.
Good early control tool. Outcast is a bonus 3/4 body.
Situational, of course, but never bad even when used sub-optimally. I don't see a reason not to run this tbh.
~ An expertly disguised dinosaur
So long as you Outcast it, it's great. Gonna need to remember to position against it properly.
Welcome to the site!
It's nice to see them making use of board position again. Not too hard to play around, but still something to take into consideration when playing against demon hunter. Probably not worth playing most of the time without the outcast effect, but potentially another board control tool (because DH really needs more of those).
Decent with the outcast trigger
This is basically a more conditional Illidari Felblade with some slight additional upside. Considering how Felblade saw no competitive play once DH became refined, I don't think Kurtrus Ashfallen has much of a chance for competitive play.
For glory, honor, and gold!
