I can see this potentially being a filler card unfortunately, but may see some fringe play.
Somewhat ok. But you're going to need to get a lot of Deathrattle stuff to make it worth it
DR card worth to be discounted are very few. Not good
this will be part of some tavern brawl shenanigans. But most likely rarely included in any actual deck
Nice demon hunter card
While I wanted to give this 5 stars, in standard there are far, far too few cheap deathrattle cards to really cheat out a lot of cards early on.
definately has some potential, since this is a neutral. we shall see.
That's actually pretty good...but I can't really think of any deck that would make use of this. Could probably fit it into some Wild decks

Eh. Corpse Widow didn't work, and this doesn't really look better to me.
Deathrattle cards, weapons included. Maybe it finds its place with Deathrattle weapons as well.

Not terrible, but a card to keep in mind when building DR decks. That 1 mana discount might come in handy, although I would prefer to have DR options on curve rather than a potential 1 mana discount...
Weak body for cost, ability is minimal. Just an ok card.
I like this card as an enabler of unique Deathrattle strategies. Who knows, maybe this makes Deathrattle (or Egg) Demon Hunter a real threat in the meta. I'll certainly be trying it out in a number of decks.
They seem to want to include all the DR package in this expansion to give DR DH support.
Not a bad card, but still, 3 mana and basically having taunt with an effect like this it's not really worth it.

Assuming it's played alongside a deathrattle, it's already a 2-mana 2/4, so it's pretty good. Probably not terribly impactful, but at least it can take a hit in the early game.
Sorcerer's Apprentice for deathrattles. How about no. There is not nearly as much combo or go off potential as with OG Apprentice.
Too little for so much tempo lost
I'm not convinced there's enough good DRs to support the synergy they're receiving. Probably will change later this year.

Reminds me of that Hunter DR reducer awhile back. Doubt this sees much play despite being cheaper.
Maybe at 2 mana 1/3~2/3 stats could see play, but at 3 mana won't see play.

I'd agree with this assessment. Although this one does have the advantage of lower mana cost and therefore earlier tempo, I don't see it making the cut even in DR decks, it's just not that good.
Not sure about this... Demon Hunter might use this but there are probably stronger options for a consistent deck.

For hunters and dhunters.
In dhunter in particular you can get this to create some shenanigans with Razorfen Beastmaster and 5 drop deathrattles like Burning Blade Acolyte and Darkspear Berserker.
But its likely more relevant for hunters. Getting tonk out a few turns earlier is no joke.

Not certain it will see play for now, but might come back in an expansion or two when there's more DR support.
You pay 3 mana to get 1 mana discount for 1 card so you need to play at least 3 to make it even and this card is so bad to begin with.

Nice card for deathrattle decks, they often have big cost minions so it may help play faster a take advantage early in the game.
Guess well see if this card will work Im not too crazy about Deathrattle this expansion but possibly in wild.
There are enough decent 5-drop deathrattles that this might see some play in niche decks. Probably too weak, though

I think the use case is too small to warrant play
I can see an obscure DH combo where you discount your 5-cost Deathrattles you include for Death Speaker Blackthorn so that they are also pulled by Razorfen Beastmaster, but I don't think the meh stats on this card are justified by the off chance you can make this happen.
Pretty good, but right now we don't have a strong deathrattle deck and dh haven't enough support with this theme. In wild can be abused with strong deathrattle

Okay, I got it, it´s meant to be for DR DH, but am still waiting for those good deathrattle cards..

I just can't see an useful applications for Barrens Trapper. If you're playing small DRs to combo with this, you're probably an aggro/tempo deck and you want to finish off your opponent at that stage, if you're playing big DRs, the discount isn't good enough.
Might be good in the future, but right now I don't see it.

I like this in any version of deathrattle Hunter, but I feel like it was printed to be used in the DH archetype that is being pushed.
Seems too slow, you need to play 3 Deathrattles before breaking even. Most of the time you will probably be better off not playing it.
Deathrattle Hunter in Duels if they still support it with hero powers and treasures

Probably not going to fare well. Will likely see some experimentation, but I don't see it being good enough. Remember for the future though. If we get more DR support, this could come around.

Could let you get something normally too expensive with Razorfen Beastmaster. Otherwise, I don't know. Do you want to play Darkmoon Tonk for 6 mana? I believe these discounts only apply to your hand, so I don't think it will do anything for cards like Death Speaker Blackthorn. And my guess is that it would be useless if it did.
Line Hopper had fringe to none play, sadly this could end as him.
But could be buffed when in hand or smt...!
Deathrattle support.
It's weird that such a good effect doesn't seem to have much of a place right now. It being Neutral means you can at least experiment with it in a variety of classes, I guess.
With Undertaker being un-nerfed I'd say this has a decent chance of seeing play.
Maybe used in the future for Demon Hunter Deathrattle. Just don't think it got there yet.

Current DR cards for the upcoming rotation aren't great, so I doubt we will see this much. Maybe in the upcoming sets.
There's some meme potential with this in a Celestial Alignment deck to cheat out a bunch of big deathrattle minions, but other than that the effect is too delayed and insignificant in the context of what deathrattle decks want to achieve, which is getting value off of triggering their deathrattles.
If you played this and had say Taelan Fordring in hand, would Razorfen Beastmaster be able to summon him?
