  • Probably the best of the Caravan cards, amazing minion if it sticks. Very solid.

    RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

  • Decent for Zoolock, but I can't see this triggering before it is removed. 

    At this point I have spent too much money on these games to quit. 

    Now pass me another pack, and lets see what I pull.

  • Gotta protect it to get the value, but that's pretty good value if it sticks. Zoo almost certainly jams two of these into the deck. Probably unlikely that it sees play in any other deck, so it all depends on how good Zoo is.

  • One of the better caravans as summoning a 1 cost minion from your deck is very strong. But I don't see this being played much simply because start of turn effects are unreliable and easy to disrupt.

  • It would definitely stick, because most of the time, Zoo plays a 1-drop on turn 1. It will trade and this will stick. If they use hard removal on this, that's also fine.

  • The cheating-out of cheap minions is something Zoolock would want to do, but having it occur on a non-aggressive body and as a delayed effect will make Apothecary's Caravan something Zoolock doesn't want to run.

  • It's a low tempo play in a format that's about to have only a few 1-drops you'd really want to get without their battlecries. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it does suggest to me that this won't see play without another expansion or two.

  • Summoning a minion for free is often good, but I just don't know with this card. It seems slow for the game plan it appears to be pushing. I have to say I'm not too hyped with these caravan cards given the prevalence of rush minions.

    That's the problem of all the caravans and this one is no better. Unlike Tinyfin's Caravan, this card has no niche since warlock can already draw, so what's the point of running something like this? Even if it triggers, its only going to get you a free 1 drop, which is honestly not worth all the trouble.

  • Thats the only caravan i have a little hope for. There is so much minions you want to trade first in warlock that this can survive a little. Plus the board control in warlock zoo is pretty easy to archieve so the opponent will have to use ressources to kill it fast.

    But still, i dont like any of the caravans and i'm afraid this wont see play too.

  • I like the caravan cards. They seem like a nice little nod to the Barrens theme. Strange that Blizzard didn't feel the need to call them out as a part of the expansion specific highlights. Does this mean they will be a theme through the rest of the year with other classes getting theirs in as well?

  • Could see some play in zoolock if the 2-drop slot isn't very contested. But between Nerubian Egg and Bonechewer Brawler (just two examples that popped into my head), the competition is too fierce for Apothecary's Caravan to see play. Pulling off a Flame Imp is nice though.

    Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)

  • Of the caravans, this might be the best. Unfortunately, it's still only 2 stars, because even with Core set and rotation, I don't think most classes will have any problems removing a 3 health minion on turn 2. Though that might be worthwhile for taking removal that might've been used on your Darkglare.
