  • Who would win? One Demacian girl or a Space Dragon?

  • Bilgwater is getting some powerful removal tools, good, that region will need all the help it can gets.

  • Let's take a look at the noxus cards here:

Thrashing Snapper: A 1 mana unit that the oponent can't effectively block unless he got a chumb blocker is pretty cool, in a way this is the reverse Precious Pet and it certainly combines nicely with overwhelm buffs... could be really good 4/5

Incisive Tactician... in a way this is the Dragonguard Lookout for noxus. It's a decent card when it's played with reputation and the way reputation operates, you have to have a TERRIBLE matchup to not have reputation on turn 6. So... it's certainly not bad for reputation decks but I still don't buy the reputation theme, I think it's very unoriginal and too linear of a gameplan to ever become toptier so... a 2/5 for me.

    • Thrashing Snapper is just a bad card. At the moment your opponent can just ignore it, it already makes it a bad card.

What exactly is bad about a 1 mana unit dealing quite reliably 2 damage per swing? By that logic most onedrops -that see all a lot of play - were just bad cards.

        • Which Noxus has better costs 1 for example?

I don't know why you try to defend a bad card XD

    • Thrashing snapper is also a cheap Reputition trigger.

I am not convinced either of the archtype either but the card certainly helps.

  • Chirean Sumpworker ... ... ...

On it's own it's not good (but also not that terrible) and is not doing much.

All it cares about is how many copies/clones you draw in a match, something that by default comes with a great variance.

The regions that this most likely will go into are SI or Ionia with their cloning support.

I am afraid  that this card is actually competetively viable due to it's compared to it's highroll potential relatively low risk nature.

And If I think about the nasty elusive otks this card can create with The Harrowing no... I don't approve this design although some people will certainly love the burglefish deck replacement

  • Random first impressions:

    • Nasus Thresh is looking disgusting -- it's already a strong deck, and I think The Wings and The Wave can only make it stronger.
    • Buried in Ice looks fun; I just don't know how to use it. Will it be a control tool for TLC decks? A combo piece for It That Stares? Something you just put in midrange decks so you can swing for lethal?
    • AdaptatronBADCARDNAME = Heimerdinger synergy; it will be interesting to see if he goes from meme tier to meta deck overnight.
    • Chirean Sumpworker looks like meme material, but in a good way. Really curious if Fading Memories and/or Splinter Soul keep ephemeral; otherwise we're looking at Iterative Improvement and/or Counterfeit Copies
    • Cithria, Lady of Clouds looks amazing. I have no idea how you actually utilize her -- 10 mana is huge -- but that won't stop me from trying. The sad thing is that she's probably just worse than Brightsteel Formation and Minah Swiftfoot, who deliver the same "I'm just going to win now" power but for 1 less mana. But we can dream!

The way this is worded, the copy remains ephemeral if you clone the Chirean Sumpworker with fading memory.

Transform effects in LoR don't remove Keywords or buffs as they do in other tcgs

      • I'm hoping that if you play/splinter a 2nd sumpworker, THAT is the copy that gets "obliterate me" and the original is the copy that gets transformed. If it's the original copy that gets obliterated AND they don't do a special exception to remove the ephemeral keyword (which I agree would be consistent with other things currently in the game), it's going to drastically reduce the value of that card.

Sorry to disappoint you again here because the wording says that once a second copy of this card comes into play the first copy obliterates inself so you will get an ephemeral copy of the worker with that line of play

  • Chirean sump worker is interesting... on one hand it looks like a meme card, but on the other hand the payoff for it is insane

  • Cithria’s leveled up again!!

    • Yeah, love her story, tho it seems like it is coming to an end. Dont see where she would go from a 10 mana 10/10 😁 that being said, she could become a champion eventually i suppose.

      • Cithria the Goddess

        13-mana, 20/20

When you play another Cithria card, reduce my cost by 1.

Allies have Overwhelm and “Attack: Obliterate my blocker”.
