This Senna looks completely badass, not gonna lie. And I think we're going to be surprised by the ways people find to use the accelerated spells feature.
"I already did 10 impossible things today" - Super Galaxy Rumble
Yes the possibilities are infinite but to me the effect is quite solved already by the swarm intelligence here : play it in frelyord Si to abuse the combination of Winter's Breath her new toys and Go Hard and keep the opponent's board permanently frozen or dead.
If anything else from this trailer....it reminds me how much I loved Lucian/Sienna's music theme. It's been years since I played League of Legends (Last time I played it was when Dominion mode was still a thing lol) but they did make such flavorful champions.
Damn, some dank potential for an insane Control deck with Senna, provided the meta would not return to fast aggro. Even then, as someone who adores [ruencard]Warmother's Call + Counterfeit Copies, it still can't compete with infinite value unless you literally play Ledros.
I like her...a lot...but I hate that this is another late game Shadow Isles champion that flips off Kindred. It literally has the same stats and key word.
Exactly my thought. Even though Senna looks fun, Kindred is still my favourite SI Champion
It's like riot had enough of people complaining about weak removal lol.
Anyway I noticed a trend here, it looks like they want each Yordle to synergies with a non Yordle champion, Caitlyn have synergy with Teemo, Senna have synergy with Veigar. Based on that I think that Ziggs is going to be a Shuriman champion and will have synergy with Xerath.
This looks nuts! But why aren't Senna, Demacian SentinelBADCARDNAME, and Solari Sentinel dual region?
Edit: Fast The Ruination, pog!
Edit 2: Other cards I see being broken with this:
If Senna doesn't get nerfed to have her acceleration tied to her LV.2, I'll be shocked!
I think the better nerf is going to be that the FIRST spell you cast in the round (and can be accelerated, being Slow basically) is accelerated to fast, that solves the problem of Go Hard.
And yes, so much cards needed to be, for flavor, double region, plus to what you say, Buhru Sentinel is part of the Buhru from Bilgewater, and Dess & Ada, by his clothes, are clearly from Piltover/Zaun, the Mistkeepers is weird cuz the bald guy seem to be from Bilgewater i think? and the girl is from Jonia, the asian hat, so triple region idk.
Edit: F*CK I DIDN'T THINK ABOUT FAST THE SKYES DESCENDING IS VERY NUTS
Agreed that it feels wierd that sienna and some others aren't dual region. It feels odd seeing these light "sentinels" as shadow isles based cards. Clearly meant to pair with demacia (flavor wise), but why do I get the feeling that they'll just be used in Viego decks?
These are all good but you did not mention the scariest one, fast speed, Go Hard and Pack your bags.
I don't know if it is the best use but fast speed Winter's Breath looks really nasty aswell
I was mostly looking at the spell with the word 'deal' in them, and Pack Your Bags didn't show because of some filters I didn't intend. Besides, the list is in no way exhaustive.
Does Senna work with Drain? What's the wording on that?
In spanish, Drain is worded like "Lanzo Drenar y inflijo 2 de daño", translated is like "I cast Drain, then i deal 2 damage", so Drain is basically a keyword, so yes, Senna works, also as minuano28 say, in the trailer is seen that Withering Mist is casted at fast speed.
A question that comes to my mind is: if you have cast 2 Go Hards already and add 2 copies of Go Hard to the stack: does the second copy them become Pack Your Bags because it states copies EVERYWHERE so in theory this includes the stack aswell right?
Edit: yes it does work that way.
I assume it woks the same as casting it with Lv. 2 Karma on board.
Yes it does, in the trailer at 0:33 you can clearly see Withering Mist being cast at fast speed.
Drain is nothing different than deal damage with lifesteal attached to it. Therefore yes Senna does work with drain
I am proud of you riot, you not only managed to create a prebuilt archetype once again but also you massively buffed everyone's favourite archtype control.
The spells added to shadowisle's region are completely nuts making sure that shadowisles keep doing what it did since it's creation.
*sleeping hedron emote
Okay that's not 100% true since SI now can also break the spellspeed mechanic (which was always a very problematic thing to do in MTG)
I don't like at all what I am seeing here because this is without a doubt a t1 control archetype...
This isn’t exactly a prebuilt archetype though. Yes Veigars side of things basically has to be run with senna, but on the flip side of things, you could probably run senna in any deck you wanted, the slow to fast alone makes it worth it
