This seems really really weak. Like...for one more mana you get maybe Hellfrie + draw (and Warlock is not starved for draw at all).
Sure, it works with the Hero card Rifts...but then it also kills your Imp (unless they specifically changed the sequencing just for this).
Not that I don't like the idea of Fel Warlock, but holy fuck is there no support for it currently.
The card text says "all enemies", so that can be an advantage over Hellfire and there is no risk of damaging your Imp.
While the card seems useful, I do share the concern that 5 mana might be too much. It could be worth it if you want tutor a particular spell, but for the average deck there are likely better alternatives.
It only damages enemies. So your fel imps are safe :)
Ah damn, I automatically assumed that it is illegal for Warlock not to damage their own minions.
I am a homosexual
I believe you.
How does this scale with Spell Damage? My guess is with Spell Damage +1, it deals 3 and if a Fel spell is drawn, it deals 2 more.
There is no way to know for sure just from the card text, but I think it's more likely that only the base damage is boosted and the Fel bonus is not.
My guess is based on the fact that the second number is also written with a digit, and not with letters. We'll see tho.
Really bad. 5 mana, draw a card and deal 2 (3) dmg to enemies. Mostly 2 dmg, because most of Warlock's spells are shadow and fire and exisiting fel spells aren't that good, ex. Shadow Council, Fiendish Circle, The Dark Portal etc. The only small advantage it doesn't affect your board unlike Hellfire or Soul Rend. But for 5 mana you can play School Spirits and use Hero Power.
Keep in mind that the Rifts from Dreadlich Tamsin are also Fel spells.
The only niche this thing has is that it draws you a spell. Literally nothing else it does is even remotely going to replace the many clear options in warlock.
It does tutor cards, so you can make your Deck of Chaos deck a little more consistent. Unfortunately, once you do get that card in hand, this card automatically becomes one of the worse cards in your deck/hand.
Every class has a bad card, and this one is unfortunately it for warlock Im afraid.
Hm do I want to cut Skull of Gul'dan or risk it? But my Fel DH can use an extra board clear for sure
Very interesting you mention Fel DH because this is a Warlock card
Dammit I thought for sure DH... who ever needs it in Warlock??? Also colors are hard to see on spells
It seems alright for a slower Warlock deck, especially because it can tutor a bunch of the strong Fel spells like [Hearthstone Card (Dark Portal[Hearthstone Card (, Felosophy (if you're playing big demons), Demonic Assault or Unstable Felbolt, while also dealing 3 to all enemies.
It's extremely niche, and I feel like that's been a theme for this expansion. All the cards look cool, but they're just so all over the place that there's no real cohesion between anything.
) Not Found]) Not Found]It doesn't tutor fel spells, it gets you a spell, no matter what it is.
it tutors a spell still... not always fel, but still a spell
