Additions & Changes
General
- Moved articles to new URL paths.
- There was a lot of work done to ensure all our old links would forward to the correct location, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone discovered a one-off issue here or there.
- All our articles are now classified under "news" on the site now, instead of their game-specific paths.
- Keeping things game-specific ended up being a bad design decision.
- Article themes are now gone.
- This has been this way for a bit now with our article header overhauls, but now we're no longer serving theme information at all with our articles. This doesn't really matter for 99.9% of people.
- Added new cache functionality to our BBCode to provide speed improvements.
- We're currently only live with this for Hearthstone as a "live beta test".
- Other BBCodes will move over to our new internal structure in the future.
Mercenaries
- Added a new party tag for "Event".
Bug Fixes
General
- Fixed an issue where logged-out users were encountering a server error when trying to create a new thread on the forums.
- Removed references to RSS feeds in places where we don't support RSS feeds.
Hearthstone
- Fixed an issue where multiclass cards would not always appear in the deckbuilder.
Magic the Gathering
- Fixed an issue where some of our cards didn't have images.
Known Issues
- This morning we had an issue with comments on the site.
- As of right now, this issue has been resolved though some content may take some additional time to uncache.
- FIXED Hearthstone Subportals (Duels, Mercs, Battlegrounds, Fan Creations) are currently erroring.
- Firefox users who have private browsing permanently enabled cannot use the Hearthstone deckbuilder.
- Due to how we load data for the deckbuilder, Firefox's private browsing mode doesn't let you use IndexedDB.
- There is an incredibly tiny percentage of people that might have this enabled. I don't currently plan to offer a workaround.
- Firefox has had an open issue to support it for 10 years now, all the other browsers support it in their private browsing modes by using an in-memory version that doesn't persist data to disk, losing the data on exit.

For anybody like me that didn't notice their RSS feed had broken two weeks ago.
The old feeds (now returns 500) were at:
https://outof.cards/hearthstone/hearthstone.rss
The new feeds are available at:
https://outof.cards/hearthstone.rss
Not sure if it was intentional to not leave a redirect here (maybe that was the "Removed references to RSS feeds in places where we don't support RSS feeds"). I am not sure how well RSS readers follow 301/302. Thanks anyway for continuing to support RSS!
Mobiles sometimes became very laggy when loading video ads, or when it's reloading another one. (Don't know if this has anything to do with my mobile specs, or it's started when you upgrade the ads placement).
And the most issue I encountered using mobile was the site always often open the wrong article when I clicked one open. I am pretty sure what I clicked, yet it opened an article below it, as if the site detect me clicking far below my original click.
I limit myself opening using mobiles at all times, but there's toilet break, bus rides, etc when I just want to read news and such.
Maybe limit it to 1 time 30 secs video ads per article?
Knowledge is Power
Same experience. This issue is pretty annoying because you have to go back and chances are that it happens again. I usually do not wait for the entire page to load completely and just jump to a specific article or forum thread. I hope this will be fixed soon.
No fix and no feedback yet. Has anyone else noticed these mobile issues? Scrolling even stops for quite a few seconds. What is causing this? These lag/freeze issues are very annoying.
Can confirm this when opening the site on mobile. There is a delay of several seconds, after the main page shows up, during which I cannot click anything, for example
And the thing is (at least for h0lysatan me) is that the click eventually does go through and misfires on the wrong article/link/etc. and then you have to go back and the whole issue restarts again. Especially if you do not want to wait for the whole page to completely load itself, which was not necessary before the big site update.
I am beginning to sound like a broken record…
Yea, i get this happening sometimes too, though it might just be me pressing randomly on the page when i see it locked up.
Small update: when opening the Forums link (not the tab on the main page!), it usually has the same loading and locking up issues. Not completely sure, but it also seemed that the "out of Carbs" section of the forums loaded later, and only after that the page became responsive. Pretty hard to reproduce again though. Hopefully it wasn't just a visual glitch of my phone.
@fluxflashor: anything going on behind the scenes with this page?
Sorry for late feedback guys, can you provide your phone type, system version, browser you are using, ideally browser version. Did you try a different browser?

Sure, I am using the latest Chrome for Android (105.0.5195.79) browser on my Realme X2 running Android 11.
The very same behavior also occurs in the Samsung browser on a Samsung Galaxy A40 running Android 11.
