Suggested Decks for the Current Standard Meta
I've been messing around in Masters over the past few days (around 150-200 LP) and I just thought it might be helpful for others to know what seems pretty good right now, for my taste.
1. Scouts - this really destroys some of the decks that rely on certain units, because of the many ways to apply challenger. And, of course, challenger works really, really well with Miss Fortune.
2. Targon Elusives, ft. Teemo - this one can highroll pretty well, but man do you have to count out your damage carefully. There is high potential to just get overrun by your opponent before you can piece together enough elusive damage. And removal decks absolutely wreck you, if you're playing this deck. Side note - Teemo is literally just a 1-drop elusive in this deck, nothing more.
3. Kennen Jinx - This one seems strong when I've played against it, but I haven't tried it yet myself. Relies heavily on flooding the board and then burning out the opponent. Any significant lifesteal will defeat this deck almost instantly.

Hey Sto :) Has been quite some time since I have been here. As I can see there haven't been any new people joining this community.
What are you doing these days? Are still into constructed? What do you think of the latest spoiler?
I'm doing OK! I still pop in and out of the website here now and then. I've been playing some LoR lately as well.
Volibear is looking pretty interesting for sure. I'm a bit afraid that Freljord ramp is going to be ... too strong. The ramp strategy was always a bit light on the payoff at the top end, and lacked support along the way toward ramping. But with Volibear and the Titanic keyword support ... I might just need to start learning how to play Freljord ramp lol. Possibly paired with Demacia.
UPDATE- So yeah, not exactly what I had in mind when I made the previous post, but Freljord/Demacia with Volibear and a couple support cards, plus Galio and his army of Formidable dudes -- yeah, it's definitely a good deck for sure.
Plus a trio of badgerbears to help keep those elusive scum in check.
I was experimenting so far how well a deck around wildfire can do. Essentially we talk about a ionia noxus with all spell tutors, ways to clone these tutors and some elusives. It can win but it feels quite slow.
You will burn the opponent for like 15 on turn 8 but until then you play a gimmicy deck that will get overrun by these "slighly" overtuned 0 mana 3/1 quickattackers.
Whoever thought these guys are fine really never looked at magic the gathering and the fun scenarios resulting from burning tree emissary
The best deck I've played against with Wildfire was one that was updrafting like crazy in order to find the Wildfire copies. I think it had Janna in it, but not totally sure.
I looked around and apparently Annie Samira in ionia noxus is the way to go. You aggro the enemy early then tutor wildfire from your deck and finish via wildfire
Yes, that's the popular version of Wildfire. It's crazy fragile though. A real aggro deck will run right over it, and even a midrange deck can aggro it down before it finds enough wildfires. Has basically zero interaction, so any kills spells just resolve, meaning it kinda also loses to control, since control can just kill all their units, leaving them no wincon except finding enough copies of wildfire.
Most of the times I've lost to the deck, they just happened to draw 2 copies of wildfire naturally without any tutors, meaning that their tutors got them up to enough copies to actually kill me. If there is no other nexus damage, and no healing, it requires 6 copies of wildfire to kill the nexus.
Well it works well enough that decks with rather slow speed can't beat it.
Sure the deck has clear issues and should be easy to counter but the wildfire is really broken of a card so that even so wacky build can work out
By the way: if you are interested we could add eachother in LoR and chat there from time to time. Just pm me your name and ill add ya
Thanks for the info, I am new here.
