No way, they really did it...
Holy crap this is busted
I never thought they would print such a card...
I feel like they went too far with this one. It would of been fine if it was like destroying 10 armor, but all of it? High Priest Thekal finally had hope to be in a deck but now people won't want to risk getting destroyed by this thing. I'm not saying that this will ruin the meta, it's just kinda intense having a tech card that can completely destroy a class on it's own.
I am not a fan of this card at all (and I am bias since I do love playing some control Warrior).
More dragons? Yes please!
Am I dreaming ?? Finally, a counter to druid and warrior in wild.
Why is this not a dragon?
That's the definition of meta defining. Warriors and druids will fear this like hell.
High Priest Thekal is crying in the Corner!
ArtStation | Twitter
Wow. This card just craps on the entire Warrior and Druid classes. There's not even a condition to pull it off.
I guess Control Warrior will be dead for the foreseeable future, as long as this card exists....
wtf is blizzard thinking
As much as I hate to play against control warrior and always wanted something to deal with the armor, this is not the way.
it would have been preferable to have something to hit health ignoring armor or more in general put an upper cap on armor like health has (e.g. max armor 30). But this is just bonkers.
A puzzle box? What does it say? ... Yogi-Saffron something... sure, let's open it, what is the worst that could happen?
card exists-> class not viable.. people sometimes..
damn..
you need to be facing mostly druids(in wild, in standard druids don't have that much armor..) and warriors to want to run this card..
running a card has a cost it's a slot in your deck, this card has no keyword, no tribe.. so it can't be discovered with most cards you HAVE to run it in your deck.. so if you are not facing warrior this card is not that great, vs druid it's fine but only counters one card they currently run, and kun is leaving to wild when this expansion comes out.
So if you decide to run this guy you have a 5 mana 5/5 vanilla vs most classes...
good tech card though finally there's a way to punish armor stacking sadly this card as most tech cards come waaaay waaay too late and it should be in KAC where druid had like 100 armor per game..
I don't think that High Priest Thekal is "ruined" I mean if that thekal deck is popular alongside warrior then it can be easily countered but that deck is just too fair anyway..
This card is dumb when cards like High Priest Thekal exist...
Kenny's little poet. 😇
Real issue with this card is: are you really going to tech up for it?
Atm no Armor class looks particularly broken.
Thekal would need to see a lot of play for this to be a relevant tech card again it. The older styles of Fatigue Warrior have been dying off lately so tons of armor gain isn’t as much of a thing other than a few specific decks.
All things considered, I really don’t think this is gonna be that great. Probably along the lines of that secret eater, a nice enough card, bit too niche to see consistent play in different metas
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
At this point I'm 100% convinced I stayed up way too late browsing r/customhearthstone and this expansion is just one big lucid dream I'm having in which Blizzard is taking all sorts of custom card ideas and making them reality. I'm terrified that in a few hours I'm just going to wake up and forget this ever happened.
Brought up this issue as well, the answer is probably rogue if it gets destroyed by warrior too much and combo decks that have limited damage output and want to have a way to guarantee they can kill any opponent from 30 rather than 50..
besides I think people would run this before boom got nerfed.. but it's not OMG broken as some comments here claim you really want to tech it when warrior is a hard counter to you.. cause armor also get countered by doing damage.
OMG, Control warrior can't be tier1 with this.
By The Holy Light!
Finally! An armor breaking card. Now all we need is a card that bypasses armor and deals damage directly to the hero!
Kidding. This card is dependent on the meta. Control Warrior isn't in a good place rn and the only other decks this could be used against in Standard are Quest Druid and Linecracker Druid. Wild is a different discussion though. This card will annoy Malfurion decks running Malfurion the Pestilent or other Druid decks that ramp up armor like Mecha'thun Druid.
Well it's over
Yeah I guess I am worrying a little too much, it's just that the effect seems really overtuned. Though you will feel rather annoyed when running this card against any class other than Warrior or Druid.
Such is the nature of tech cards I suppose.
More dragons? Yes please!
This expansion is hands down batshit crazy.
I agree with DoubleSummon though... it's a tech card which will hardly see play as long as there's no T1 deck to target with it. Just like Harrison Jones and Captain Greenskin for example, which were played a lot when boomsday came out and everybody and their mother tried Bomb Warrior and teched for Wrenchcalibur.
The potential uses though... Odd Warrior, Infinite Armor Druid, Thekal Paladin, negating the armor gain from all hero cards... incredible.
I rated 4 stars because it's a game changer but won't see much play.
I notice I am confused. Something I believe isn't true. How do I know what I think I know?
Harry James Potter-Evans-Verres, hpmor.com
Dumb card. it's either unplayable and useless or completely busted tech card. Bad design.
It isn't going to kill warrior, the only way you would play this is if it was like RoS and warrior was one of the only tier 1 decks, and even then...
what kind of deck uses this? this isn't going to stop warrior from stabilizing against aggro/midrange. its a 5 mana 5/5. Most classes could do more damage with a good card in their deck instead. If the warrior is stacking that much armor they've usually already won, unless you're a deck that can go long enough for you to win anyway like quest shaman.
FINALLY, I was waiting for this card since forever!
Thanks Blizzard <3
This is a meta-defining card! We've been waiting long for this :)
We asked them for nerf wild infinite armour druid, ok, it's ok counter, but i hate this type of cards, it's not a solution it's placebo, you can t play this type of cards regulary, coz of only 3 classes has a lot of armours and you can t guarantee you will play vs one of these. But ok for me, placebo better than nothing.
Long awaited tech card...
As said...good for wild but atm less good for std...it's not the first card that feels "too late" when looking back at previous exp.
I Think the problem with this is not "now" but "tomorrow". It kills the warrior and makes future armor gain cards less appealing. Just make it "destroy 20 armor" so it will be good only to tech vs STUPID amounts of armor
They finally did it!
High Priest Thekal just became so much riskier to play. This card is obviously entirely dependant on the meta, but I do believe its nice that Druid and Warrior cannot just sit there all game and hide behind their armor. This should have quite a nice impact on Wild, lots of really greedy combo/control decks there.
I love control warrior and i'm a bit scared of this card existence. I'm sure there should be a way to deal with armor, but destroying all the armor for 5 mana and only with 1 card is too much IMO. It's a very situational tech card which will not see much play definitely but it can define some matchups and just ruin them for warriors or druids. But it's good to have an option, this is a very niche card which are always powerful. Anyway i don't think we'll see a warrior defined meta any time soon so it's OK.
Half your opponents armour would have been enough, but i'll take it!
It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.
Descent of Dragons? More like Descent of tech cards.
Finally armor isn't a strictly better defense mechanism than healing.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
that'S the point though. It's supposed to jump in when there's a class that just abuses armor stacking. If control warrior is all you run into and they just armor up in your face you tech this in and catch them off guard.
I've had many games where I got a warrior (or Druid) down to single digits and they just went back up to 25, in which case this would have been an instant win.
It's the same as Eater of Secrets. You don't play it because it's good on average, you play it if you want a specific deck to die.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they printed some more neutral armor gain now that this exists. Sometimes when they print a weird tech card it’s cause they know something’s coming up for it to counter
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
It's just a tech card, like the secret removal cards. Are you willing to bring this card against non armour classes?
WOW, just WOW.
A neutral card too. Must have tech card in every deck?
FINALLY!
Druid, Warrior, Mage, Paladin, BEWARE!
the best tech card ever printed
i was dreaming with this one
So it happened... We wanted this from the beginning, but now it just scares me. Good stats and good effect, again an autoinclude without downside. I dont like these type of cards. The power level of this set is way too high for nowadays standards.
Never netdeck, craft Whizbang instead!
I agree with most that has been said already but this card also makes OTK decks more promising which rely on doing 30ish dmg to hero in one turn. With armor around, this could fail horribly against the matchup you were targeting, ie control (warrior, druid). But now you have a tool against that.
This card can destroy armor generated from Thekal, Druid and Warrior... and it can also destroy armor generated from hero cards lol
So it's a 5 mana 5/5 that deals at least 5 damage !? this card is amazing :D
Ooohhhh, this is going to be hell'a FUN both standard and wild! 5stars just for being unique
I'm so sad for High Priest Thekal, it was one of my favorite legendary card.
But happy about armor tech existence. Sometimes, the existence of cards can be enough for decks to stop abusing mechanics. This is a card of a kind.
For example, I am always playing around secret techs while i'm playing secret decks, same with weapons or Mind Control Tech or boardwipes.
From now, I will play around this card while I am playing warrior.
But poor High Priest Thekal, I really love that card and it is the only real time that he can shine more until this card revealed. He is completely dead in wild because of huge armor stacks of wild meta. He was mechanically perfect, shame they killed that precious legendary.
I personally think that this card's effect should have been like "Remove 10 armor from your opponent, If they have 25(or 20/30 for balance) or more armor, remove all instead." because you know, 20 armor is normal but 100 is not !
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
I can't believe they printed this card! Will be so important in case of dominance of warrior, maybe also against druid and paladin (goodbye Thekal, no more useful)
Not everyone is mother tongue! Roar.
Let's print another powerful tech card and make other class unplayable.
While we're at it, let's also play rock paper scissor.
Secret Mage, Jade Druid, Kingsbane Rogue, Control decks with armor, and more of them.
The perfect tech card vs armor druid or warrior. I thought they´d never add sth like that, but I´m so happy they did
Now this is something new and amazing! The bane of Malfurion and Garrosh!
And in the end they finally print the anti-armor tech card. On Wild this may kill those few Druids and Control Warrior left.
"For what profit is it to a man if he gains the world, and loses his own soul?"
"Now you will suffer for Theramore, Garrosh!" - Jaina (FreezeMage) laughs in the corner.
To be honest, it's a great card, but as my quote tells, i fear the overcome of Combodecks, because you have no longer the option to stop them with armor gain...
Omg, I've been waiting so long for this card. I'm so glad this day has finally come.
Hopefully it'll actually be useful in some meta while it's still available in Standard.
After all this time I was sure they would never print this card. But here we are... :)
A deck like shrivallah paladin is already looking very strong versus all the dragon decks that don't pressure the opponent and just generate tons of value.
Just when i was thinking that maybe warriors will gain too much armor (there are the dragon that gives 5 armor, the breath that gives 5 armor and all the other armor gain cards that warriors already played) for shrivallah paladin to reliable win versus dragon warrior i see this in the main page.
If dragon warrior become a thing, shirvallah paladins will put 1 of this in their decks and still win all of the slowest matchup.
I think this card will be played only in combo decks (the ones that does damage obviously, not the mecha'thun ones for example) only if a deck in the meta is gaining too much armor and goes out of reach
So there it is. The card I was waiting for way back, but realised how stupid it was when High Priest Thekal was printed. At least it’s a counter to endless warrior or druid armor.
The power level of this expansion is too damn high!!
Platebreaker is certainly a surprise, and yes it looks like a hard counter to control Warrior and Druid archetypes, but it's not necessarily overpowered.
First, you would never run more than one of these because they're only useful against two classes*. Second, because this is worse than vanilla against most classes, you'd need to see a lot of control-style Warrior and Druid decks on the ladder before teching it in (according to Vicious Syndicate's last standard report, together they're probably around 13% of the ladder, and Warrior is nowhere near the top tier of decks despite its armor). Finally, you'd need to see armor as the major reason you're losing against Warrior and Druids on the ladder. As noted, Control Warrior isn't strong right now, and Quest Druid's access to armor doesn't really stave off hyper aggressive decks today.
Honestly, I think this is a card that, if it were in standard today, would see no play at all. The only way that changes is if Control Druid, Control Warrior, and Thekal Paladin all become major ladder contenders, which seems unlikely. In either case, this card seems like it was printed to bully some of the degenerate strategies in wild, and will be fine in standard.
* Technically Paladin and Mage can both generate armor (with High Priest Thekal and Ice Barrier respectively), but the uses are narrow. This definitely feels bad for High Priest Thekal, but Paladin has enough healing that he may still be worth playing for the games when Platebreaker isn't teched in.
And they finally did it....We have waited for this tech card for ages...actually this should be a classic card.
Those who complaining about this card are probably warrior or druid players....stop whining guys...it's like
a weapon removal any decent deck should have one.
Love how this is common, like Blizz saying "Yeah, that's not a very big deal"
This card can be easily played around and you can even bait it out if you think your opponents carying it so don't think its a problem, just a handy tool
This is an extremely powerful card going forward, regardless of how relevant armor is to the meta.
this has immediate use in wild. Goodbye infinite armor drui
Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
Omg, at last. A tech card against armor. I almost feel bad for the armor decks. And high priest Thekal.
But nevertheless I am impressed they grew the balls to print this one. Mad props.
You should experiment even more. And I don't mean with even more rng cards, but with different ideas and tech cards.
“If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.” ― George Bernard Shaw
EU Legend: S52 (ZooHeal Lock); S76 (Highlander Hunter);
First, me break their PLATE.
Then, me break their FACE.
SMOrc
this is insane. honestly i feel this is unhealthy for the game, 30 damage OTKs are more and more viable now and this card sets them up perfectly the turn before.
cya warriors, finally
Great card, not because it will break the meta and be used in all deck, but because it will keep armor staking deck under control. And now especially with the rise of highlander decks, it's really easy to include one of in case druids or warriors start to prevail too much in the game.
Thank God Blizzard introduced this card.
Absolutely amazing. I LOVE these kinds of hard counters to busted strategies i.e. Skulking Geist to ruin Jade Druid, Demonic Project or Dirty Rat for most OTKs, etc. I doubt you'll see this card run much like most tech cards, but whoo boy all you need is one game wiping out 2,800 armor off a Druid for it to be worth it. 3-star card with a 5-star feeling.
It's a terrible day for rain...
I like my matches the same way i like sex, not rushed! I like when we both take our time to enjoy what each other have to offer, like a dance of trades, and go the extra mile, everytime is possible. Rushing things will always leave someone unsatisfied and disappointed.
BLIZZ daddy: Garrosh, Malfurion sit in that corner. You're grounded!!!
Control Boys: NOOOOOOO
BLIZZ daddy: Do'nt disobey!!! Go to the corner or you're never, NEVER play control again!!!
Control Boys: you wouldn't dare!!!!
BLIZZ daddy:
Thekal will probably be fine, it's not like everyone is going to run this.
Gosh dang it, cards bad.
The whole armor mechanic is ridiculous with no armor cap, odd warrior gaining 4 armor each turn and druid being able to generate absurd amounts of armor with a combo not thought through by blizzard. This is just the laziest possible solution to the problem. Also, you probably want to hold this card until after the opponent spent many of their resources and generated a lot of armor, which just makes it take space in your hand.
As a person who plays High Priest Thekal, I’m not terribly worried about this card. It just means that I have to time it’s effect where I can get lots of healing back on the same turn to prevent me from being at lethal damage. Thekal is more of a tempo play so I can activate Zandalari Templar.
Definitely a bummer of a card for Warrior and Druid though. RIP armor gain. However, as many people have already stated, when you get rid of the armor, you have to kill them that turn as well, otherwise they go right back to gaining armor.
and now, the dark reign of face decks ending matches on turn 3-5 will comeback... face hunter is my bet.
I like my matches the same way i like sex, not rushed! I like when we both take our time to enjoy what each other have to offer, like a dance of trades, and go the extra mile, everytime is possible. Rushing things will always leave someone unsatisfied and disappointed.
r/customhearthstone on suicide watch, never thought they would print this card.
But even if control warrior is popular can you even afford to run this in a super aggro deck or in a combo deck like holy wrath paladin, maly druid I dont think so. Imo its a better tech card for warrior mirrors than aggro decks.
Imo its really powerful card but only few decks afford to run this like reno mage, quest shaman vs. which don't have much problem against control warrior anyways. There could be a future control meta where this card might reign supreme but after seeing warrior Galakrond I'm not holding my breath for such meta.
After years, finally! But right now, it's really necessary? Odd Warrior doesn't even exists anymore, armor druid is almost irrelevant in meta, but at least they printed this.
I'm sorry for my bad english :)
it seems that people here don't play the game, NOBODY plays thekal, this card is good ONLY for combo decks, most combo decks has limited burst so when you're opponent is at certain health treshhold you lost the game, this is good only there, isnt good for aggro decks or good to counter thekal
Whoot - it's getting tech up in here!
I am glad we have so many new concepts this expansion, but honestly I don't like armor removal being a thing.
First, I think there are better ways to tech against armor, you could have something that deals damage to the opponent through their armor, or you could have something that reduces their armor, but just flat out removing it seems like too much of a hate card.
I don't like how this card basically says "deal up to 30 damage depending on the class you are fighting". This just feels unfair to druid and warrior, gaining armor is something you spend time and resources gaining, you should have your last three turns become completely trumped by a 5 mana card. I can understand why we would have tech against armor, but this card is just way too top-heavy. Whether or not this card just deals 5 damage, or 40 damage all depends on the class you are facing, and now that druid is super salty because he just happened to be that unlucky schmuck who got paired against someone playing Platebreaker.
Tech cards are fine, and being able to interact with your opponents strategy should be part of the game. But just flat out destroying your opponent's armor feels like too much hate.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
It's about time they did something like this. Armor is more annoying than Healing, because with Healing at least there is a cap, Armor doesn't have one.
Exactly, if they get too crazy with the armor this will affect them greatly, then after the armor archetype is dropped this will disappear for a while.
FINALLY!!!! We have a solid counter to all deck that bunker behind armor.
For sure is mete-defining in tournament meta, but we will not see a lot in ranked except if Control Warior is the only deck played
That's so niche though. You're going to play a 5 mana 5/5 that's mediocre in every other (standard) class matchup just so you can win games where you almost killed a warrior and they stabilized? you could have just had a good card in your deck that could have added enough pressure to kill them in the first place. In fact, you could be taking a good card out of your deck to put this. Eater of Secrets affects the tempo of the game but this card has zero effect on tempo. You probably won't even kill the warrior if you play this unless you were going to kill them anyway or you had burst from hand. This won't see standard play based on the cards revealed so far.
It's a really niche tech card and with specialist gone i'm not sure it has a relevant place anywhere. Maybe a conquest lineup that is targeting warrior. It's a terrible ladder card tho.
I was expecting some sort of anti-armor mechanic eventually but I wasn't expecting it to outright destroy all of an opponent's armor, and I certainly didn't expect it to be an excellently statted tempo play to boot.
RIP fatigue warrior, and good riddance.
I never can understand why this niche counter cards get such high ratings? Is it because people are happy to finally see them come out? This card is fine, but unless the meta has a lot of armor heavy decks this just won't be a card you put in decks, even dragon decks, I feel like this is filler. It is true everyone will be able to discover this and that does make a difference, its a great check card for wild, but honest, this is a 2-3 star card most of the time, not a 4 star card.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
Hahah finally they released card, which destroys armor. And you can play two copies of it! Yay!
I agree that is bad design, but "it's either unplayable and useless or completely busted", isn't that the definition of a tech card?
A puzzle box? What does it say? ... Yogi-Saffron something... sure, let's open it, what is the worst that could happen?
This looks like the tech card everyone theorized about for years
Finally
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Destroying all armor seems pretty op but i doubt decks like aggro would even run this card its better to have cards synergize with your board/build a board and damage the armor and health from your opponent that way.
In a control versus control deck i could understand why some decks might run this card, facing a warrior that wants to go to fatigue? remove the 30 armor that they build up as fatigue approaches.
For wild it's pretty nice.
FINALLY a card that counters residentsleeper XD 5 for 5/5 will be a tech card almost like spellbreaker or MCT
Well its got nice stats and deletes thekal and counters that wild druid deck so nice card
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
I think that "split ALL the armor between both players equally" would have been a better tech card.
This is just too good to be played against an heavy-armor deck. And it's also a 5 mana 5/5, not bad
This tech card is a necessity in a heavy-Armor meta, but those don't currently exist right now. It's akin to Kobold Stickyfinger in a sense of "why didn't they print this ages ago."
most OP card ever printed?
An insane tech card against Control Warrior and the few Druid decks out there. Can't wait to see highlights of this being played after a opponents Thekal.
Yeah, this is true but I don't think it is as polarizing as this. Most tech cards aren't aimed at only one class with such a strong upside against them, but it does happen.
RIP Armor Druid in Wild, you will NOT be missed.
This is a good card to have around though, even if you don't run it, the scare-factor alone is enough for certain decks to see less play
I've been dreaming of this card for years and constantly had arguments on Hearthpwn with people saying why it would/should never exist. I'm happy to see that it does, even though I doubt it will impact the meta in any significant way in wild or standard.
Poor Linecracker druids in wild, now they can be beaten by a 5 mana 5/5 that deals 2500 damage to them.
In standard could be used as a tech against Control warriors or druids if they receive some massive armor gain in future expansions.
Is it heavy-handed? Perhaps, but you have to keep in mind it doesn't prevent your opponent from armoring up again on later turns, and playing a 5 mana 5/5 rarely accompanies a finishing blow.
More importantly: most tech cards never actually get played, and if they do, they are only played while there are a LOT of decks that they hit in the meta. More than that, tech cards don't really remove decks from the meta so much as put a limit on how much of the meta they can occupy. That threshold is also about the point where people start calling for nerfs. Why? Often because there is no effective tech option available.
In short tech cards can be viewed as preemptive nerfs that simply don't exist unless a deck actually needs nerfing. And that's great in my book.
There can in principle be some collateral damage (e.g. with Thekal in this case), but there are always decks that are weak in a given meta, so just live with it.
This is a card that everyone has been waiting for but now that we have it I don't know how much we need it. Maybe some wild decks will tech it in against the bees druid deck. Heal paladin isn't a big enough thing that we want to put it in all our decks. At least we will have it if any big armor decks come about in the future.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Goodbye Control Warrior.
Why is this card printed anyway? This is basic card that has more value than it should be (in a negative way).
No offense, but even I can make something more balance, like "deal 5 damage to your enemy health directly, ignoring its armors"
Knowledge is Power
with this card, you can dish out 15-20 damage to enemy face. It's totally "broken" card.
Knowledge is Power
I appreciate how hard this card was to design. On one you don't want to kill the armor classes. On the other you have classes gaining thousands of armor. So this effect had to be printed like this. The only mistake I see is that it's an effecient body for cost so some decks will just run it because they can. I wish it could of been different but overall this was needed.
Casual Dragon Cardgame enthusiast.
I had been waiting for a card like this for a while. Paladin, warrior and druid armor decks are going to suffer with this.
Strongest tech card ever printed. Period. Can you imagine the sheer number of your opponent mana investment this will eat? I mean, I don't play CW, but it must feel veryyyyy bad. Also die Linecracker drood. I crafted Thekal 5 days ago to play some wild duel paladin out of boredness thinking : " I'm gonna play some reno dragon paladin anyway...". Can you feel my pain?
Elders Scrolls : Legends / Runeterra
Team 5 High 5!!!
This will ruin the meta. Holy f***. Why. Why???. This card is bonkers, will remove warrior and control paladin from the pool. Insane card
Wow, a tech card against Warrior and Druids and some Paladin decks. Very strong but still very situational.
released to late my armor rest in peace in wild
This just feels bad. Why not "this minion ignores armor" or "Battlecry: This turn your damage is doubled against armor". I suppose might keep odd warrior in check if they ever give it enough tools to pop back into Tier 1?
Very good anti-armor tech, I expect it to see much more play in wild than standard
I'm starting to think one of the higher ranking Hearthstone developers is actually someone from the custom cards sites. It's getting ridiculous.
Finally. This is a nice card versus Armor Druid in wild. Depending on the meta, this card might also see play in standard from time to time.
Probably bad. People are heralding this as the death of Control Warrior or slow Druids but think about it. If you are playing an aggro deck, you want to be attacking every turn so the Warrior/Druid shouldn’t be accumulating armor in the first place. If you are playing a slower deck, the armor might build up, but you won’t be hitting the health “underneath”. The only deck that will really want this card (maybe) is a combo deck that has a large but finite amount of damage that it wants to use to chunk a Warrior/Druid to death in one go. Otherwise you’re running a 5 mana 5/5 with no synergies that is useless against 7 of 9 classes. This is looking to be another tech card to “futureproof” any armor shenanigans that emerge in later expansions.
Jaina is best waifu. Always.
Crazy effect but I dont think it'll actually be played at all surprisingly. Its best case would be for use in specialist format but that didnt work out so well.
Most of us have waited for this, now that it’s here I’m sure it won’t see much play x
Too specific of a counter, and too hard punish when that happens. Capping Armor would make more sense than printing those counters that you can't rationalize playing. Or maybe some cheap armor-piercing minions, that would be more interesting.
Druid players: My Linecracker combo will make it impossible for you to kill me with 2500+ armor.. HAHAHA
Blizzard: Platebreaker
Druid players: well... shit
At last! The card that destroys the enemy armor! Excellent card in wild against Druid & Warrior. In standard it'll depend on the meta.
Love the effect, but it targets too specifically against the armor classes therefore not likely to see serious play.
True meta breaking card of the is... neutral common?! This card will shape the meta for years to come by its mere existence. Destroyer of control archetype based on armor gain. I'm afraid that Blizzard went too far this time...
Fun and interactive game.
Finally they created it. And it destroys it all!!
