2x auto include in every deck for the first month :)
Cool, introduce a dragon meta and include a staple anti-dragon tech straight away :D.
Well this seems like an auto-include in every deck for the first two weeks of the expansion.
Just a completely ridiculous card. If dragons do become meta then this is going to be one of the best possible counters to them. Going to be interesting to see if any early game dragons will actually see play because of this cards existence. You simply cannot allow your opponent to get such a huge tempo swing on turn 4.
This really makes playing the new cards like Bronze Explorer and Azure Explorer significantly worse as you really do not want to play them on curve due to the threat of this guy. Primordial Explorer doesn't mind too much though.
Late game expensive dragons only it is then!
Strong in the right meta - which will start next week, since there'll be dragons everywhere. But even if you're not playing against a dragon deck (warlock and Shaman do not seem to have enough support) it's not a big tempo loss. This is a tech card, which comes (probably) at the right time, a first for DoD!
Meta dependent but I like the tech card.
8/8 with rush for 4 is great value.
Quite bonkers in the upcoming first weeks of the meta. Definately gonna try it in a Embiggen deck :)
Yeesh. I wanna know this guy's backstory. What eldritch shenanigans happen to this mad lad when he sees a dragon?
Better call Thrall!
Wow, this is just crazy, auto-include after the release of this expansion! There will be so many dragons (and so many free 8-8 with rush). Very nice tech card against a specific meta, without waiting for months but right now when is needed, thank Blizzard!
Not everyone is mother tongue! Roar.
probably one of the best dragon counter card..will definitely see it being played considering 80% of the new release is revolved around dragons..
I'd consider this a metadefining card. We were all expecting to play Dragon decks soon, but this card will make some people doubt. Very strong card in my opinion.
If dragons see any play this boy surely will too. super strong tech card
Amazing card to counter dragon decks. This is a big threat, and would make you think twice before playing any low-cost dragons early game. Amazing tech card for the upcoming meta.
My only concern for this card is it may be too good for aggro decks.
If you are a control dragon deck which runs anti aggro tools like the Bronze Explorer and the aggro deck drops this the turn after. That will be a 8/6 minion in play on turn 4.
I think text like "If your opponent controls a dragon, +4/+4 with Rush this turn" would be more fair. Similar to the text of the Militia Commander.
EDIT: Leeroy Jenkins synergy! Whelps FTW lol
Hoooooly, this is huge. We dreamed about meta dragon decks, and there comes their nightmare :) I dont know if im happy. Its good to have a huge tech card against dragons, but maybe it becomes too effective and crushes peoples mood to play dragon decks.
Never netdeck, craft Whizbang instead!
Someone was doing cocaine during the design? This is nuts.
I do what I must, when I must. Know this well.
Exactly my first thoughts.
After that it has to bee seen, of any dragon decks stay viable enough to tech against them.
Meta dependent, but okish vanila stats.
Really good card, autoinclude on every deck.
By The Holy Light!
He was raiding with Leeroy Jenkins :)
What's the most powerful card in Hearthstone?
A credit card.
This will be the most included card in all decks during this expansion.
That's gonna be a great midrange Card in a Dragon-heavy Meta!
ArtStation | Twitter
This card suggests that they do not expect a real Dragon meta, but only few powerful Dragon decks surviving the meta.
Otherwise this card would be broken.
*Plays Faerie Dragon*
- What's the worst that could happen?
This expansion just keeps going, wow. An 8/8 for 4 mana that can possibly survive for more than one turn is insane. With the amount of dragons being introduced, there is no doubt going to be a Tier 1 dragon deck which will make this card playable.
Well it's over
I think it is going to be hard to create a deck with so many "auto-include" cards around. There are only 30 slots and already 20ish auto-includes, apart from the old auto-includes like Zilliax and Siamat.
New dragon counter, bad card design coz of - this card punish you for playing drgons, yes, a lot of them are OP, but it's not healthy for the game having 4 mana 8-8 if you playing vs dragon deck.
Our new saviour 4 mana 8/8 with rush I can already see the you vs the guy memes
very strong card
one of the more powerfull counters to dragons for sure
Cheap dragons are now unplayable thanks to this card
The 4 mana 8/8 rush that somehow balances the huge power level of dragons in this expansion. I think this card was needed and it's welcome. 5 stars
Ridiculous card for ridiculous time. There were many ways of print a card like this but not that overpowered. As always blizzard chooses the overpowered one.
They simply say that "You can't play mid-range Hunter." even after we gave you Stormhammer.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
This is the only card I would like to see nerfed can they just make it deal 8 damage to a minion?
Kenny's little poet. 😇
4 mana 8/8 rush...yeah, that's pretty broken...
I really hate how this basically shuts down any form of a Tempo based dragon deck.
All the explorer dragons (except Primordial) are effectively useless (or at least unpllayable on curve)
Any dragon with less than 9 health will get removed immediately, and god forbid if your opponent actually has the means to remove them otherwise, because then they just get a free 4-mana 8/8 with Rush.
This won't kill dragon decks (Frizz makes sure of that) and it's probably going to be necessary to at least keep them in check, but it still limits the kind of deck you can actually play.
I have serious doubts about Midrange Dragon Paladin now (although at the very least warlock doesn't suffer, because neither Netherwing nor Twilight Drake are particularly impressed by this)
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Mandatory and auto-include in every deck.
I would suggest you don't disenchant any of the cards of this set if you can afford it (besides the obviously very bad cards). This is going to be more played than an ooze during a weapon meta. Good on team5 to prevent rather than cure: the avalanche of techs this expansion is amazing. They can learn, they can.... evolve.
Elders Scrolls : Legends / Runeterra
damn Blizz what the hell??? dragon meta with broken t4 anti dragon?
Wow...with all dragon released in this set this card is likely to be a 8/8 rush "everytime". In that case is really strong, but if dragon deck will not work this card become a sleeper card
Really good vs dragons obviously. And it looks like we gonna se a lot of dragons from now on. Could this card alon prevent a full-scale dragon meta?
man, this is even better than dragonslayer. most big dragons have 8 health so you can almost guarantee a kill.
Fantastic card - every deck will run at least 1 for the next 4 months. Nice to see some more "real-time" tech cards rather than letting an archetype run wild for 4 months before "solving" them.
for this card to be a consistent 8/8 with rush for 4 mana (that is very broken), a very high percentage of decks in the ladder have to run a lot of dragons in their decks, that will not happen for sure.
Even in a matchup were your opponents run a ridicolous amount of dragons, and this would be an 8/8 with rush for sure, you probably don't need it in the first place.
Basically most of the time this card is strong versus decks that you should not having problems facing in the first place, while being a bad card in most of the games where having a 4/4 sitting in your hand will probably lose you the game.
if a deck that runs a lot of dragons will somehow become tier 1, at least we have already a tech
Strong counter deck to dragons. Its likely gonna be played in a lot of decks. Could be very strong with shudderwok aswell. 10 10 shudderwok with rush.
Lots of tech cards getting printed this time around, huh? One of the stronger ones definitely, might actually see some play since there’ll probably be a few non dragon decks playing some of the stronger dragons from the expansion on their own
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Very weak :/ You dont have a guarantee that your opp is playing dragons. But in the dragon meta... maybe
People memed about 4 mana 7/7s, now we got a 4 mana 8/8 WITH RUSH......sometimes.
I mean, with all the dragons in this set, there was bound to be some card like this.
When this triggers, it is absolutely nuts. This is a good tech card because the payoff is so powerful. Some tech cards aren't worth it simply because even when they do go off it isn't very exciting.
I think this will see some play. A 4 mana 4/4 isn't the worst card, but a 4 mana 8/8 rush is insane, and you will have at least 1 minion to attack. With ever class getting dragons, there is bound to be at least 1 class who has a competitive dragon deck, so I could see some decks wanting to have anti-dragon tech.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
RIP Nozdormu the Timeless before he was even released.
Great to see some Quest Shaman love.
4 mana 12/12 rush anyone?
Yeah this is going to be auto include x2. 1st off it's a 4/4 for 4, but if they have a dragon it's an 8/8 with Rush. Don't tell anyone, but my friend's, Father's, Sister's, Boy Friend's, Half-Brother's, Wife's, Kid... works at blizzard and mentioned Dragons might be making a showing in this Expac. The last Expac, in the Year of the Dragon.... Oh, and "Winter is coming!" Man where is that Coffee?
Another crazy tech card. Unlike Platebreaker, this has a much higher chance of being competitive since all classes are getting some good dragons. I know that tech cards can't usually be op since they are dependent on the meta and if they are too strong then people will make new decks to play around them, but dragons are now going to be a lot more universal in this expansion. Rogue and Warrior were the ones that used pirates - Shaman and Paladin had the murlocs - Warrior, Paladin and Hunter utilized mechs - Mage, Paladin and Hunter liked secrets, but now all classes have the chance to properly run dragons. Playing cheap dragons at release will be quite hard with this card around. Let's just hope that it doesn't affect the expansion too much, I wouldn't want to be completely destroyed for having the odacity of playing dragons in the big dragon expansion...
More dragons? Yes please!
Funny this card is printed in the same set. Nice to keep Dragon decks under control, and those decks are probably going to be very common.
You simply can not play any low mana/tempo dragons with this around. Imagine being answered by this to your 2/3mana dragon on turn 4 or even 3 with the coin. It's a proactive 8/8, for 4 mana. It's GG.
4 mana 8/8 with Rush? Blizz are going ham on the memes.

EU Legend: S52 (ZooHeal Lock); S76 (Highlander Hunter);
Huge counter for dragon decks, even dragon decks can run this!
I'm sorry for my bad english :)
What the fuck is this? "Have fun playing your new Dragons; I'm just gonna play my Mountain Giant with Rush MUHAHAHAHA!!" Pretty salty because this seems super busted against early- and mid-game Dragons, which is something we need more of.
Exactly, and I think the best place for this may be shaman quest.
What does this expansion have more: dragons or tech cards?
assuming that by turn 5-6 no giant dragon has been summoned, this card can be seen as one of the crabs for pirate and murlocs.
Ans like everyone here says, auto include in all deck in the first month. Can't wait to play mind game with my opponent to see who plays a dragon first.
Best card for the first month, in arena is a must pick and hopefully, it will see some play with Leeroy Jenkins
Seems like a decent tech card in case Dragon decks dominate. Probably a good arena pick.
I've missed meaningful tech cards for so long
This card's power level depends very much on the meta, but with this expansion Dragons are going to see play in one way or another soo, yeah this card is pretty good.
another broken tech card.
Better not have any tiny dragons.
4-mana 8/8 Rush? Nerf already.
Day 1: Everyone has 4 mana 8/8 on curve.
Day 20: A good card to help control some of the opponent dragons, but (hopefully) not so ubiquitous.
what kind of intoxication is this !?
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
A very strong card which will see play for sure! Even with no dragon synergy it's a playable 4-4 minion for 4 mana. We should meet a lot of dragons in a new meta so this kind of tech cards is what we need IMO.
lol that was "just woke up, and pressed start" on the coffee pot. Thought I'd brighten up the day of everyone else, with my morning, uncaffeinated ramblings. :D
The power level of this set ... Dayum!!
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Glad to see the dragon decks won't be allowed to get out of hand.
This is gonna be BIIIG in a lot of games! Very cool!
4 Mana 7/7: "Am I a joke to you???"
What the hell Blizz?
ah yes, the classic 4 mana delyeet dragon with no downside a true classic staple of an expansion full of dragons. I don't see this ever being a 4/4/4 its almost always going to be a 4/8/8 which is crazy good in every situation I feel like they hired certainlyT from Riot to help this expansion
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
Broken af, it would be strong enough with just +2 +2. It can be played alongside Jenkins for taunt removal. I expect it to be nerfed.
This is a strong tech card versus dragon decks. Imagine summoning a 12/12 in battlecry shaman.
A fantastic card that will trade favorably or evenly with most of the dragons in the game. Assuming dragons become popular, you’ll see a lot of this card.
Jaina is best waifu. Always.
Yea this card probably forces dragon decks to play more value centric, since having this come down early is game winning
These kind of cards are hard to reasonably include in a deck. Maybe arena?
A 4 mana card that has 8/8 and rush if your opponent controls a Dragon? Bonkers!. Also a powerful card in arena.
Since dragons are likely to be everywhere, this card should be too even though it has little synergy with your own deck.
Why print this brutal counter to dragons in dragon themed expansion? Playing one of smaller dragons may result into crushing loss, which is stupid. To some extent it disencourages from playing core content of whole set. Card itself is broken af.
Fun and interactive game.
won't stop people from playing dragon decks but will keep them in check
I think this will be the winningest card of the expansion.
