Welp here's the tech to all the dragons roaming out there—will most of the time be played as a 4 mana 8/8 rush. This makes it quite dangerous to play small dragons early game as you risk having to deal with a big minion early on due to you controlling a dragon.
Why print this brutal counter to dragons in dragon themed expansion? Playing one of smaller dragons may result into crushing loss, which is stupid. To some extent it disencourages from playing core content of whole set. Card itself is broken af.
We knew there’d be an anti-dragon tech card.Someone had to be a Dragonslayer. And Dragonmaw Poacher was one of them, but everyone is not going to be playing Dragons and everything is going to vary.
great card! i love they printed counter cards to dragons as well as the strong dragon support in the same set.4 mana 4/4 isn't even too bad for a tech card
Biggest tempo swing in this expansion at midrange. Can definitely see people complaining about this card crushing the entire expansion. 5 out of 5 in standard.
Wow, just wow. This could very well be called the dragon deck destroyer. Boy but you would put this in each and every single deck if dragon decks were even a little popular. Insane arena card. Most propably you are going to end up in a situation where both players have one in their hand and are just waiting for the other to play their dragons.
With all of the dragons flying around this expansion, it looks like this will often be an 8/8 rush for 4, which is not at all bad. Even you happen not to be playing against such a deck, the stats aren't terrible so it looks like a reasonable tech card.

Out with the old Dragonslayer and in with the new. This card is exceptionally good if there are any small dragons in play, such as the Explorers (exception to Primordial Explorer). It'll be interesting to see if dragons are prevalent enough for this card to shine.
Wow...with all dragon released in this set this card is likely to be a 8/8 rush "everytime". In that case is really strong, but if dragon deck will not work this card become a sleeper card
I think it is too strong to be honest. 8/8 rush on turn 4 is just overkill, it is better than Mountain Giant. This card will be a fun killer.
That being said, I like the idea of anti-dragon tech, I even like the design and flavor of this (being a dragon poacher, so it rushes to kill a dragon and gets some extra stats). IMHO. it should have cost more mana, or get smaller boost, like 4 mana 4/4 that gets +2/2 and rush.

If this card prevents Dragon decks from taking off, Blizzard will nerf it. Keep your extra copies.

Interesting tech against dragons, cant say its broken, but its not too bad either
4 mana 8/8 doesn't sound terrible, but it's not great against the big dragons that have 12 health.
It will clear the early and mid range dragons with not problem, though.
4 mana 8/8 rush all the time, not bad

4 mana 8/8 dragon doesn't look all that strong anymore suddenly...

Here's the punish card against dragon decks. Glad to see that there will be a counter to the powercreep dragon cards.
if the dragon meta will be tier 1 i don't know, but if the answer is yes then this card is gonna be everywhere. and... 4 mana 8/8 =D
will probably be played as 1 off in many decks. 4/5
This will see a lot of play for the first week, when everyone is trying out their dragon decks...
