Is a collection manager ever coming?

Is the collection manager and app like Innkeeper from Hearthpwn ever going to make it to this site?

It was the one thing that kept me coming back to Hearthpwn back in the day and as much as I prefer the coverage and forums here, without a card manager to help with knowing which decks I can easily craft or not, I'm more inclined to use Hearthpwn over this site.

  • I mean i'm not a dev but "crafting cost" is "coming soon" as written in the deck page.

So it definitely on the way

    • Crafting cost coming soon? Isn't it already available on the deck page as a filter? Works for me.

Unless we're talking about two different things...?

      • Pretty sure they mean how much you would need to craft the deck (taking into account the cards you already own). So your own personal cost for the deck basically.

If that’s something listed as coming soon, it’s assumed that being able to upload your collection is planned for that

  • Just get HS replay app like everybody else.  All the functionality of innkeeper and then some.

  • I must be missing something...to find out how much it costs to craft? Just import deck code and you see missing cards and you can calculate? How much time does that take? less than a minute?

  • The on-site collection manager is actually closing in on release. I was aiming to have it out for the expansion last month but there are some technical hurdles to still work through. Since everything came to a halt the last couple of weeks of December due to the holidays, and now I've been plagued for a week (ugh, I love the Winter but I despise the sickness that always comes with it), so there's still work to do to get it out there.

The release may end up being divided into a V1 and V2, with the initial launch being the collection manager itself and then client-side calculated deck costs. That is what is currently being evaluated.

    • I hope you feel better.

This is a very strange message to read out of contex

I'm so glad it wasn't just me that thought the same :)

Just makes things a bit easier really. If you’re looking at something like the old wallet Warrior the numbers do start to get rather large unless you already have basically the entire deck. And besides, if it’s a deck you’re close to being able to make, you can quickly check how much more you need before you can craft the whole thing

This was the answer I was hoping to hear.

Thank you so much for the update and for your efforts with this. I've always appreciated your efforts back when you were with Hearthpwn, and as I still do to this day.

I will be so glad to be forever done with Hearthpwn for good!

      Thanks again!
