i was not aware there was a cap. Either way it's not 10k because i#m currently at 11k and no cap in sight.
I believe my current count is a bit over 16,000. I have yet to craft a single card with shards; I only use them to pay for Expedition fees, and I'm gaining them at a much faster rate than I'm spending.

ive reached 17k before and i never read about any kind of cap.
i didnt too but i assumed it must have a cap right? i mean is impossible to program infinite shards , nothing is infinite, i was thinking it would be 10k or 100k but i happy the cap isnt low.
Assuming they aren't arbitrarily limiting it and/or doing some fancy byte packing, its at least a ushort which is 2^16 = 65.5k. I suspect they are using 23 bits (standard signed int), which would be just over 8.3 M.
If there was a cap, and probably it's really high, I doubt they would set it as low as 10k or 100k..
woah i didnt know it could be so high , guess i should take more notes on my computer classes XD thanks pal will keep hoarding my shards without worrying about a cap.
If you hit a cap, you need to worry more about your social life than your shard total.
