Quote: "C. crystal arrow should cost more, shouldn't draw an extra card (That's just gratuitous) and it shouldn't be created instantly in hand"
Ashe Creates the crystal arrow on top of your deck and therefore it is fine that it draws a card since it would otherwise replace your next draw entirely
Freljords are already struggling hard enough as is and you want to make them suffer even more?
I can't remember the last time I saw an Ashe deck on ladder.
This.
I'm playing a Fiora deck with Frostbite splashed in, but I don't think Ashe is particularly overbearing. Frostbite as a mechanic/theme might arguably be a bit too strong, but not like it's completely out of line or anything.
sorry that ur elusives arent hitting face cause they are getting frostbitten to hell.
My personal opinion: no, not at all. I think she might be one of the best balanced heroes in the game.
If you think that's good, you should check out Trifarian Hopeful--its a 5/2 for only 2 mana! Spoiler: it's not actually that good, because having high attack is meaningless if just get value-traded by a 3/1.
Roughly half the champions do something cool every time they attack; Ashe's ability is probably better than average but still not as good as say Zed or Anivia.
I consider it a minor miracle whenever an Ashe deck survives long enough to cast Crystal Arrow. Honestly, I think your frustrations have more to do with you personally not playing around frostbites well moreso than Frejlord being too powerful. Try playing assuming your opponent always has a frostbite card in hand. Don't overcommit combat tricks as long as your opponent has mana to cast. Ashe has trouble dealing with wide boards; try to take advantage of that. Once Ashe starts to near level, start planning to deal with her arrow. After the opponent draws it: always open attack so you deny them the opportunity to freeze you first.
Good luck!
Yeah, after I looked into ashe I realized my mistake, I just didn't understand how to fight frostbite, but now I do and I realize that I was simply fighting her wrong, I personally still feel however that ashe being out of range for a few things is annoying, but nbd
