Should we expend all our expedition tokens before Tuesday?

Do you guys think this mean we should expend all our expedition tokens before Tuesday?  Because unless they do some type of compensation, you'll effectively "loose" your free champion.  Given how generous they are in general, I wouldn't be surprised if they DID do something even more generous (e.g., everyone gets 1 free champion wildcard per unused token when the patch goes live), but that seems like a pretty big gamble.  And I don't know if we'll get an official answer (if any) before the patch notes Monday 11am PT, which only leaves 24 hours before the patch goes live.  It's been weighing on me, so I was wondering what y'all thought.

So yes, it does look like we'll get some kind of compensation. How much that compensation will be and if it is worth to keep your current tokens is still unclear, as far as I'm aware.

I've never saved up any expedition tokes, anyway (They're the first thing I use every Tuesday), so it's a moot question for me. But I'd say anyone who has the chance to use some of their unused tokens should do so as quickly as they can. I highly doubt Riot is going to reimburse players with something better than the current expedition rewards.

It's official now, and you were correct, sir.  1000 shards is so much worse than the champion wildcard (unless you already have all 72 champions, but if you do, I'm guessing you don't have too many unused tokens floating around).

I was sitting on one.  Will have to spend it tonight before the patch goes into effect...

While the expedition changes do suck, we will still get a champion for free every week. It just won't be from the expedition. Our vaults will have a champion as long as we hit level 3 vault.

Oh I actually love these changes overall.  Currently the only palpable value the vaults are giving me each week are the champions, and I'd much rather get mine up front than need to spend ~2-3 hours doing two expedition trials to see who I open.  Plus I really appreciate how even super-casual players are given consequential rewards for putting in a bare minimum each week.  I was just concerned with what to do in the immediate future since I had 2 tokens and a lot of missing champions.
