Stop Going to Hearthpwn to bad mouth the new owners

If you don't like Hearthpwn nor what Curse/Fandom did to Flux that is fine, and you have every right to be upset. But there really is no need to spend more time on Hearthpwn than Out of Cards to consistently take it out on the new management. How would you like it if trolls came here to constantly bash this website?
You aren't doing any favors to Flux or the Out of Cards community by behaving like a child on Hearthpwn, it's immature and very unproductive. And honestly, who wants to be part of a "community" that engages in that type of toxic behavior?

Fully agree. I won't be going there anymore, but Magic Find isn't a bad company and don't deserve your hatred.
I left Hearthpwn but I fully agree - Badmouthing them does nothing good.
The end of days is coming. Doomsayer was right all along.
Most of the criticism I've seen is really weak/foolish.
I don't think they're doing a better job, but they're a week into managing a site that caters to a fan base with a penchant for leaping before looking, so to speak.
So many excuses to complain (I can hear the collective gasp of shock at that thought: Hearthstone players complaining!? Never! kappa), none of them with any goal to resolve things or offer constructive analysis.
I still use HearthPwn for now, but from what I've seen the site is largely unchanged aside from who writes the articles. The mechanics are untouched, neither better nor worse. I'm waiting to see if they can improve anything before I decide to ditch them just because of a buyout.
Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
What happened to Flux is shocking, but as I don't really frequent Hearthpwn anymore (aside from checking out decklists) I could not comment on the way the new owners are being treated. But if people are going over there just to troll and piss people off then thats low.
If you don't like Hearthpwn that's cool. But don't waste your time slagging it off. Let the new owners get thier feet under the table. Sheesh....
Cocked, locked and ready to rock...
I agree, that does not make any good.
The pleasure is mine.
My last standard decks: nothing special right now.
I still wander through Hearthpwn, only cuz of habit. I'm slowly migrating to outof.cards (even if I don't really like the dark theme) cuz I can feel the passion of the owners making this website. I just can't feel the same on Hearthpwn right now, that's kinda why I'm leaving it.. and HEY, trashtalking is NEVER good, the OP is right, stop going there to criticize their work.
I couldn't agree more! I feel like i'm slowly leaving hearthpwn behind in favor of this site but despite al what may have happened between old en new management, that is no reason to be a dick about it.
Just follow the people you care about and forget the others. Kinda sounds like some lame chearleader thins to say perhaps but now is the chance to show what a bit of decency looks like.
Go get 'm outofcards!
Out of Cards theme seems dark to me. Can you make it brighter?
"My winged children fill the skies."
"A hundred kings will rise again!"
"Who knows what secrets we'll uncover?"
"The stars align!"
"The stars align!"
Without even touching the moral sphere, generating traffic and creating content here on OOC is definitely much more helpful than badmouthing on HP.
So, indeed, why bother going there at all...
Yep feel exactly the same
All generalizations are false.
To be fair though - Complaining that HearthPwn hasnt changed much since new management took over, seems rather ridiculus. I wouldnt expect them to improve every little thing over the course of only one week! That seems rather ambitious.
Anyway - knowing that the site wont shut down, i guess ill still go there once in a while.
But OOC will be my main go-to site for information on HS.
Unfortunately some of the moderators such as Flux have left questionable statements to hearthpwn threads related to the changes that have made many people choose to pick a side. The moderators hopefully did not intend for this to happen but their words only encouraged more hate to the new owners of the website. In my honest opinion it was probably slightly intended due to how badly Flux was burned. I am in favor of keeping the community together rather than dividing it but Flux wants this website to grow and not die. This all could be resolved better, but the new owners of Hearthpwn do not deserve any of the hate. If anything they could prove to be better moderators if people give them a chance. Complaining the website has not gone through many changes yet is beyond silly and petty.
The community was divided by Curse and their poor choices, not by current OOC staff, who simply tried to make the community survive, and give it a properly handled platform/website.
The new HP owners don't deserve any hate, but they certainly don't deserve to be helped by OOC community and staff. Nobody asked them to buy a shipwrecked website.
I'm sorry but gong to those threads as a moderator and making lukewarm statements is encouraging hate. Curse made questionable decisions but it did not encourage hate. Continuation on replying to the post and giving lukewarm sentiments is heavy encouragement. If anything Flux even sharing the information that he attempted to buy the website to begin with is even more encouraging of hate. The user base knowing this information doesn't benefit anyone except one individual to have more people on their side.
What you are mentioning is just the consequency of a process that was already in progress, and it was started by Curse.
Once the community was pushed to flee to OOC because HP was closing, the split was already made, and at that point, the new OOC staff had all the rights to evacuate as many as possible from the sinking boat, and i'm glad they did it.
Finally, HP is a complex but awful platform. I'm happy we had the chance to mass-flee towards a new one.
The community would already be fully reunited here, if the new owners didn't try to necro the old website. So, at this point, it's just a matter of perspective.
It’s almost as if someone is trying to divide us and create two different factions that eternally wage war upon each other.
Perhaps we should drink the blood of Mannoroth? Maybe just a taste?
