Nice reload tool, and a great counter to control decks with a nearly full hand

Not only is this a great-- possibly OP-- disruption for your opponent's hand and a redraw for yours, but it works wonderfully with cards that grow when someone draws a card, like Daring Reporter, for example.

Oh my god this is going to be so fucking annoying! Why did they print this???

With the amount of card draw DH has, giving them the ability to put their opponent's cards back into their deck is just fucking insane. This card alone can win you a game by ruining your opponent's game plan.

Seems insanely good for me, nice reload for aggro, while being a way to really ruin the opponent's day (maybe) if they have a big hand.. or maybe you just made them draw an answer to your board.

A total tech card.  But this can certainly disrupt control decks really hard, especially Priest and Warlock decks as they rely on being able to control their hand... and this card just resets their hard work at manipulating that.

The caveat to that is obvious, you go against Face Hunter and you're resetting their hand of hate for you.

The only real question I have is in situations when someone had triggered cards like Dragonqueen Alexstrasza or Galakrond, the Nightmare, will those card remain a cost of (1), or will it get reset?  I would imagine that it would have the same effect as [Hearthstone Card (Shirvallah, the Tiger) Not Found] as those cards directly state that they will change the cost of the card to (1).  Guess we will find out.

Very hard card to evaluate, DH doesn't really need more card draw right now, but it's such a cool disruption tool.

    huhhhh wow.  that's a card.

My first impression is, I kind of hate it.  Hand disruption has never been a big thing in hearthstone and I liked that about it.

But also it's not as insane as you might think.  I mean if you're against control, they're jamming their cheap cards against your cheap cards.  you spend 4 mana to play this, they send all their expensive cards back into their deck and draw 4 new ones, possibly a better hand and they get the first turn full of mana crystals to spend on them.  In fact, it promotes them to just jam all their stuff and put you in a situation where if you refill, you refill for them to.  only residentsleeper decks like priest have a lot of cards in hand that they don't want to draw back

think about modern demon hunter games.  how often are you playing a game against demon hunter where you have a lot of cards in your hand and want to keep it that way, and you're not getting slaughtered?

it's super hard to evaluate this.  but at the end of the day it's a Jeeves like refill for low curve aggro demon hunter so it's going to see play I think.

What a cool card. Really interesting way of disrupting your opponent, and replacing useless cards.

As with all Demon Hunter cards, I have no idea what a competitive non-odd demon hunter looks like, and given that this card is quite aggressive and that I'm not sure it's enough to push demon hunters away from the odd package for aggro, I think this might see very little play.

This post is discussing the wild format.

Super strong card...this is a meta breaking card for sure. It's a super counter to controll deck and can be used in aggressive deck to draw more. 5 stars for sure

A Plot Twist for 2 mana more, and possible reduction of handsize - if it's not in outcast position. You could possible even make an endless DH in wild with Ellek. Or if you are playing control against control (like 5 expansion from today that could be possible) you stave of fatigue by some turns.

If it is in outcast position, this most likely destroys your opponents turn.

While interesting, I suppose it will show up in tournament decks as a specific tech card, and nowhere else. For drawing 3 cards, there is already Skull of Gul'dan.

I really like it, if you don't want to give your opponent cards, you need to try to play this without outcast, in difference than other outcast cards, but maybe they have a full hand and now you DO want the outcast.

Strong for draw when you're low on cards and disrupting your opponent's hand.

Although it does have some timing because maybe you actually don't want your opponent to draw the cards.

Oh for the love Yogg.  It acts as a hand refresh for aggro DH AND disrupts the enemy, possibly depriving them of board control or sustain tools they need to survive against the DH onslaught.  I was hyped for this set, even after seeing some pretty strong cards, but this card looks extremely anti-fun.  Can't they just change the outcast to more draw or something?  Why does it have to be one of the strongest disruption tools in the game's history?  All we can do is pray that the card is no where near as strong as it looks.

Yeah.  I can't believe Blizz printed this.  This card pisses me off!  There is a reason you hall of famed Divine Favor!  Now you just made another one in reverse combined with Jeeves for a turn!  The only upside I see for this card is countering all the b.s. combo decks like Quest mage ( assuming they don't play the quest reward the same turn) and armor solitaire druid decks that flood wild.  This is not the solution I was looking for.

Demon Hunters usually have quite big hands, definitely more than 4 cards, so I'm struggling to see the value in this as a draw tool. Perhaps to find combo pieces?

As a combo-wrecker, however, this is fantastic, and interesting. It could make big hands smaller, or just change up what might have been a key small hand. I never expected something like this to be printed though, and I worry it'll be abused in some way.

Started playing HS in May, 2015. The bad news: I missed the excitement of 'Naxx out?' and GvG. The good news: I never met an Undertaker.

    Relax, guys.

Yes, disruption cards are annoying, but is not an op card, maybe in wild after thaurissan turn, but not in standar.

Aggro/tempo DH dont need that, and control/Big/combo DH is not a thing at this moment.

Ah cool so first this will break standard and Blizzard will nerf it to 5 mana.

And then it will break wild in odd demon hunter.

    I cannot wait.

Game winning card against control decks, and how good this card is will depend solely on the opponent's ability to redraw their hand.

The worst thing about this card is that it can be discovered as a last ditch attempt by tempo dhunters to deny a win to the other side. Other than that its chief role would be to disrupt combo, but more likely this one card will just immediately kill priests in most situations.

Supports control and big dhunter decks as a disruption against priest with their infinite answers against board and combo.

This is a powerful card, but it doesn't win the game, merely stalls it.

Drawing 4 for 4 is pretty good, actually it's great if you're comparing it to Arcane Intellect that draws 2 for 3. This card doesn't even need a full hand to draw, if you're empty you'll "shuffle" nothing and then draw 4.

forcing your opponent to shuffle IS powerful, especially for powerful control decks like handlock that focus on collecting large hand sizes or Galakrond decks that need their win condition for the late game.

This card however does flounder against other tempo or aggressive decks, as your opponent will be emptying their hand as fast as you. Skipping your turn for your opponent to refill their hand is a game losing turn.

Also I'll just say it I wish Warlock got this card, card disruption is supposed to be their thing. And it synergies with the Quest so well, too.

Reload for aggro that can also make it so your opponents board clears in hand get shuffled back in their decks. Oh you have 9 cards in hand and you would have 10 when your turn starts? Well your opponent Just used Glide and your down to only 4 cards. (And +1 at start of your turn).

Needless to say: WHY DID THEY PRINT THIS? This i.m.o. is a LEGENDARY card kinda effect. WHY CAN YOU HAVE 2 OF THESE? And ITS ONLY 4 MANA! Just WHAT?!?

Honestly when people (including myself) went around saying: "LOL DH is good at everything, and against everything." We were joking blizzard!

If the rest of DH cards are going to be like this, then i'm truly afraid that there will be even more DH nerf waves. Which i truly dislike.

Oh and thank god this card is even-costed. This card in odd DH would have probably made a LOT of people rage/quit. At least they "balanced" it around that.

RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

Doesn’t really look that strong to me, the hand disruption is nice, but you’re leaving your opponent with 5 cards in hand their next turn, which doesn’t really seem that bad, especially since you’re spending 4 mana to do this to both of you

Who needs consistency when you could have fun?

Wow, I really despise this card. As people have already mentioned, this spell can mess up with the opponent's hand. If I, as a control deck, keep a board clear for a specific turn, the DH opponent can play this card and I might not be able to draw the AoE on time, so I would most likely die. But this spell has another effect - it negates cost reduction in hand. Combo decks, that rely on cheaper cards, will get countered heavily.

This spell reminds me of Divine Favor - in a way that it punishes the opponent for having a large hand, while it rewards the aggro player with extra resources, but this is even more stupid.

Think of Glide as Plot Twist in quest Malygos warlock. If you have 0-cost cards in hand, but you decide to play Plot Twist, those cards will regain their normal cost, when you draw them. I know this, because I used to play Quest Warlock back in RoS and I tested this interaction myself. So, if someone plays Glide, you should expect, that the dragons from Dragonqueen Alexstrasza or the cards from Galakrond, the Nightmare would lose their cost reduction. But this won't be the only case for combo disruption - think of Emperor Thaurissan or Imprisoned Satyr. Decks, that utilize those cards, will be hit heavily.

[Hearthstone Card (Shirvallah, the Tiger) Not Found] works differently - it doesn't require to be in hand, in order to get a mana decrease. If it had the same text as Jumbo Imp or Corridor Creeper, it would have lost its mana reduction upon getting shuffled back into the deck.

Deck > Hand > Board.  When cards go forward in that list (or stay at the same level), they keep buffs.  When cards go backwards in that list, they lose buffs (unless otherwise specified on the card).

I wouldn't be surprised if this card got nerfed. Just the fact that it exists means that control decks will have to worry about losing their hand. This can be used in a similar manner as Jeeves in aggro decks, though I don't think Demon Hunters need more refill tools. This card will be played in many Demon Hunter decks, and it will be very frustrating to fight against, so I wouldn't disenchant your extra copies of this just yet.

This card is pretty representative of my gripes with the standard meta since Descent of Dragons: control decks get new fair cards while tempo decks get new unfair cards, making the meta largely tempo vs tempo with fewer and fewer control decks being able to compete with them without having the perfect answers.

Glide is a great card, but such a bad design similar to that of Divine Favor. It punishes control, which is a core strategy and not a specific archetype like how Bad Luck Albatross can delay Highlander decks. The main way control wins against tempo is by choosing when to use removal tools in the early game so that you can still have cards in hand by the time that the tempo opponent runs out of cards so you have more immediate resources to generate counter pressure. Glide just says screw this by giving them a reload while making the control player less likely to answer that reload as control runs very limited card draw that limits their ability to increase their hand size post-shuffle. And, to top it all off, it isn't even a dead card against a tempo mirror as you just set it up so you don't play it with outcast.

Based on these points, I think this will become a staple in Tempo DH and could possibly disincentivize control play at a time where control isn't even that popular. While I am hyperbolizing my statements a bit, I am not overstating when I say that I hate this card existing in the game.

    For glory, honor, and gold!

It's an Outcast with a possible undesirable effect. You better check your Deck Tracker and see if your enemy had to Mulligan. If he did and is still holding on to those cards, maybe it's best not to use Outcast.

    Thanks. I hate it.

    This.

Messing with your opponent's combo with cards like Dirty rat, Hecklebot or Demonic project is one thing, but this one is on a whole new level.

Making your opponent lose more than half of his hand and thus limiting his options going in to mid to late game while you recharge your hand is like a game winning move right there for the aggro deck (is there other type of DH deck?). And we all know the Outcast-condition is not that hard to meet for the DH.

I wonder why you will ever print this in the current version. Only 4 cards left in hand? C'mon.

This will get nerfed within two weeks or control decks are literally non-existant and Demon Hunter will solo the meta even harder than it already does.

Print this card for Warlock and it's fine, but putting it in Demon Hunter is about as idiotic as printing an unconditional Reno for Warlock.

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

I dunno. Potentially really strong reload. But Plot Twisting your opponent's hand could be good, bad, or completely irrelevant.

The first thought I had of this card was "oh boy another bingo!" Then the dread of this being played in every deck settled in. Its a hand refill/shuffle away your big boys for later and a disruptor if your opponent has some combo pieces in hand.

My initial reaction was similar to everyone else, something along the lines of "holy balls this will get nerfed". But on second thought, maybe this isn't so broken as we think.

If you're playing Control vs. Tempo DH, you're playing your cheap cards to counter their cheap cards. Most, if not all Control decks have cheap removal to deal with aggro. If the DH plays this on 4, then you send all your expensive cards into your deck and refill your hand with new cards, and you get the first turn of full mana crystals to spend with the 4 new cards you got. This card actually puts you in a bad situation vs. Control decks since it encourages them to play more proactively and drop their cards and wait for you to refill their hand for them. And considering the fact that you'll only ever want to play this card when you've got less than 4 cards in hand, it will most likely be outcasted, thus playing into your opponent's game plan.

Think about it this way, how many times have you played against a Tempo DH where your hand is full of expensive cards that you want to keep and you're not being murdered? This is actually a perfect example of a card that promotes the skill of knowing what your opponent has any playing around it. By being less greedy in keeping your cards, you've negated the downside of the outcast of this card, and it's actually turned into an upside.

That said, this is still a really, really powerful card, and I've only judged it in a vacuum. You would also need to consider cards like Beaming Sidekick that make the board harder to remove. And there's no point just dumping a useless hand without dealing with the board, because the DH can just not play this card and you'll be effectively locked out of the game. So I wouldn't be surprised if this got nerfed, but I don't think it's going to be as problematic as people say it will be.

    Also sad Sprint noises.

This will get nerfed within two weeks or control decks are literally non-existant and Demon Hunter will solo the meta even harder than it already does.

Print this card for Warlock and it's fine, but putting it in Demon Hunter is about as idiotic as printing an unconditional Reno for Warlock.

You guys are overreacting.. It's worse than divine favor, also if you play control versus demon hunter that tries to empty their hands.. Maybe just start using your removal more sparingly?

Control decks also have many cards that aren't good in the match up the fact that those cards are in your hand and didn't get played means they are probably too slow..

Also when played on your next turn you will have 5 cards drawn from your deck as control if 1/6 of your deck can't handle aggro what are you doing? When they outcast it vs anything the other player gets the card advantage cause they get to their draw phase first.

Just remove the outcast effect altogether.
The really sad part is, this probably isn't even that good. It's weaker vs. aggro because they take advantage of it too and they are everywhere. Control decks outside of gala priest don't exist so there will be "no reason" to nerf a card that's "not used". I thought they learned something from The Caverns Below, but I guess countering an entire playstyle while still being strong against the other one is OK now.

Strong card - i mean Demon Hunter already has lots of draw but this card is very interesting because of the Hand Disruption!

    Endless anti-aggro and anti-minion cards printed - everything's fine

One anti-control card - the world ends, hahaha

The game actually needs more cards like this. More ways to interact with boring control and combo decks other than just playing your minions and waiting for them to be removed. It's great. It's very healthy for the game. I want more anti-control cards for other classes, not just DH.

Hand disruption, nice! Will possibly be the most annoying card of the year. Great for aggro decks vs control/combo, but DH already have a lot of great draw and this could be a little too inconsistent.

I would like to mention that this and Divine Favor are completely different cards. Divine Favor increases your hand size to be on par with your opponent's. Glide simultaneously increases your hand size and DECREASES your opponent's hand size so that they are the same. In one scenario you just gain, in the other scenario you gain and your opponent loses.

I do however think you have a point about control decks not necessarily being destroyed by this card. I don't think it is a good idea to play your cards sub-optimally just because you are afraid they will get shuffled into your deck, but when you are facing against a hyper-aggro deck you want to have a lot of cheap cards to control the board with. On turns 1, 2, and 3 you are trying to keep your opponents board down, if you fail to do so then you probably have a bad hand and it isn't the end of the world if you get a new one. If you do succeed in keeping their board down in the early game then it means the majority of your hand is probably going to be cheap cards, in which case it isn't the end of the world if you get a new hand which may be more suited for the mid-late game.

YourPrivateNightmare said that printing this in Demon Hunter specifically was a big mistake, I would like to argue otherwise. Because Demon Hunters play so aggressively, you as a control player will want to play fast as well to avoid being overwhelmed. That means that your hand is either just as small as, or slightly bigger than the Demon Hunters when they play this card. And if your hand is significantly bigger than theirs, it means you haven't been able to keep up with their board and are probably dead anyway.

Hard to evaluate. This can either be broken or not as bad. You can get refill, but if your hand has good cards, you may not be as tempted to play this. And while it is a pretty great way to reduce options for greedier decks, don't forget drawing is rng, and your opponent can draw poorly just as often as they could draw better thanks to this card.

It will obviously feel frustrating when you get unlucky, as it is natural for humankind to feel worse when something doesn't go their way. But this may be important in the future to disrupt certain decks. And don't forget not every DH will run this card on your ladder nor will you meet DH every match, although Illidan remains a popular class.

And also some potential for Augmented Elekk Demon Hunter in Wild, tho Odd DH will reign supreme among the class.

    4/5

I don't think this card is good. DH doesn't want to sacrifice their turn 4 to gain zero tempo, and it's only draw 4 if your hand is completely empty. It's gonna suck to have this played against you as a Quest Warlock or other hand-heavy control deck, but I don't think it's gonna be a very good card.

So, 4 mana draw 4 and it disrupts your opponent if your hand is empty. There's a decent chance the outcast effect is neutral for you (i.e. there's a decent chance your opponent isn't playing control or combo), and that may limit the metagames in which you want to play this, but its a cool effect regardless.

While I could consider this an interesting tech card, it should be costed as that, a tech card. Sprint casts 7 mana and was actually used for a while, mostly because it was paired with a card that made it cost 4. This costs 4 without a second card to combo with, making it perhaps a bit too good.

The last tech card that had premium mana for its effect was Bad Luck Albatross, ended up being nerfed.

Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)

    Clarification the outcast effect.

Say you're a warrior and you pull of an insane Battle Rage turn, netting you a 9 card hand.

Next turn opponent DH plays this outcasted.

    Will your hand be:

    1. 9 cards shuffled back in deck, draw 4 cards. -or-
    2. 9 cards shuffled back in deck, draw 9 cards

This is just insane! You could probably slot this into any DH Deck because of its many Applications! Disruption, Refill,... You can even use this in Control to delay Fatigue.

want to try this out with Keymaster Alabaster. Skull of Gul'dan might make the combo possible. I will absolutely try to make it work.

As many others have shared, I don't like this card.

The effect has no counter-play, and it is not going to be enjoyable to be on the receiving end of this card. Moreover, other cards that don't have counter-play in Hearthstone don't usually feel as bad as this one likely is going to feel. For example, Bombs had no counter-play for quite some time, but they don't feel as bad psychologically simply because the effect is delayed and possibly never even experience throughout the game.

Hopefully this card is not very good in actual play, but it feels like it is going to be a very high-skill card that sees tons of play at high levels (sort of like a Loatheb.) Only time will tell, but here's hoping this card doesn't ruin Hearthstone.

Vomit you little dudes, Trueaim Crescent, draw 4, keep pushing. Also make 8+ control hands cry in the bed at night. What's not to like about it? DH card, of course.

There are a bunch of salty people over this one card. Literally any comment in support of this card is getting downvoted. If this "breaks the game" for you, then leave it. You obviously can't handle a card game. And this is coming from a guy who only plays control/combo. There are ways to handle this card, but you guys are too damn comfortable with "what it's always been" to see the potential of "where can we take it next". Not trying to hate on anyone, but ffs. Adapt and overcome.

    Thanks to denial, I'm immortal.

I love this card. Maybe it's broken, but I love the exploration of new spaces. can't figure out if something is too good if you don't try - remember Gnomeferatu? People were calling that the death of combo decks.

    Welcome to the site!
