@geometry dash An aggressive cards, hence the pleasure of DK stops in the first hours since people will mill the aggro version until they nerfed it like they did with Demon Hunter.
TB_BaconShopLockAll_Button this name for the freeze button is hilarious 🤣
I want some bacon now hahah
Quite interesting stats here. Pretty crazy to think that only 21% of the cards are collectable. Also I'd imagine that even though Duels was removed from the game, all the cards associated with that mode are still in the client. For some reason I assumed Duels assets would be removed to reduce the size of the game, especially for mobile clients.
As for those extra 700 cards in the OoG DB, maybe there's duplicate cards from past core sets that weren't removed?
Very cool to have these features back, thanks to everybody involved!
It's time to write a few guides again. Can anyone tell me how to adjust the database code to display signature cards? I've tried [Hearthstone Card (signaturecardimg) Not Found] and [Hearthstone Card (sigcardimg) Not Found] without any luck.
While Stormlight 4 still sits in my reading corner waiting to be started in time for the expected release of book 5 later this year, I haven't had the stomach for such a heavy and deep saga lately. Instead, I've picked up The City of Dreaming Books by Walter Moers on a flea market. It's what I'd call a modern fairy tale, lots of fantastic creatures with one of them going on a big adventure. It celebrates reading and writing and shows the author's love for his craft. The story itself isn't the most impressive I've ever read, but I've really enjoyed it nonetheless. Light reading with some humor, excitement and lots of love for books. 4/5 stars from me.
Up next has come a book that has been sitting on my to read list for a very long time: The Library at Mount Char by Scott Hawkins. I'm about halfway through after less than a week and so far it has been a blast to read. It's a little gore-y at times, but that actually fits the characters and the violence that is happening makes sense in the context of the story. What I like the most about it is that I get the impression that the author has really put his heart into this, it's almost like watching Jack Black in School of Rock - you can feel the joy it brings to the artist and that transfers to me, the reader. I'm really curious where the story is going next, so far I can fully recommend it.
No big changes here since last month. I've played some Jedi: Fallen Order but it's not really pulling me in. Hearthstone still makes up 95% of my game time, which has been reduced quite a bit in favor of sports and reading lately. Which reminds me to add an update to the Books thread as well.
It's probably still a long way to go, but I am planning to get one of the new Nintendo Switch consoles. I've been aching to replay some old classics like Ocarina of Time, Portal or Mario games. Let's hope Nintendo does the smart thing and releases it before Christmas (I doubt it)!
As for what I'm playing, I've been swamped in schoolwork so not a lot, but I've been finding time. If you remember last month when I started by posting my new FNV playthrough... I'm up to doing Old World Blues there. Damn robo-enemies!
I've gone back and forth with the "Game Masters" several times now, and they keep feeding me the same BS: Game Masters cannot provide compensation. Developers can issue compensation but only for bugs that affect 100% of players to keep it fair. Tell me what's fair about this?
Furthermore, the last message included this gem: "Please note that we consider this matter final and any new tickets regarding this might lead to disciplinary actions on your account."
They are threatening me with disciplinary actions for complaining that I've been cheated in-game!
I need my OutofGames community to weigh in on this. I only missed one quest, so I realize that is a small amount of XP. But on PRINCIPLE this is wrong. Plus, read Almaniarra's comment above: no quests for over a week, and I don't know if that has been resolved either. Meanwhile, NebuchadnezzarHS got EXTRA quests (no hate to you, friend, just pointing out the inequity). My tin foil hat suggests that they docked quests for F2P players while granting bonus quests to those who pay. Maybe some people can chime in on this?
That's impressive, and a bit hilarious. I'm currently diving into Elden Ring and getting my butt kicked, but loving every moment of it. Also revisiting Skyrim for the umpteenth time—there's just something about wandering through Tamriel that never gets old. Anyone else juggling multiple games at once?
Elden Ring is great, isn't it? You jumped on the bandwagon just in time, with the expansion coming in 20 days :D
I feel like I've been juggling a thousand games at once, even if I'm intending to mainline Paper Mario TTYD for now lol. Keep buying games I intend to play but don't follow through on; saving up for the dry season, I guess.
After reviewing the demo for Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon for the latest Steam Fest, I went to YouTube to see what some of my preferred content creators had to say about it. That's when I learned that it was a board game first; you don't often see that! Most "ports" are from video game to board game, like Skyrim, Fallout, etc., and not the other way around, except for stuff like "you can now play Wingspan on your phone!" which is not what I mean by that.
Of course, not only is it just for up to 4 players, the developers have no intention of increasing that player-count to 5 😒
I already have a PS Account, so it doesn't really affect me, but it's an unnecessary friction point that will turn a lot of people off. If only it had cross-save at least.
... Oh, also the whole "Not available in 180 countries, so you can't play at all" deal. That's a pretty big one too.
Unlocked frame rates with the PC release is a fantastic addition. I've never played a God of War game on PC (not that we could until GoW dropped in 2022) so this is a very tempting buy during a sale.
Looks like the game will have PSN requirements. So a good chunk of the people won't be able to play for basically no reason. Yaaaay...
Hope they roll that back after the Helldivers 2 fiasco, and they just didn't have time to update the trailer.
Yeah, it's unfortunate that they feel this was needed. I wonder how much of it is just wanting to boost the accounts made metrics on the PlayStation network vs actually thinking by people making those accounts they're going to sell them hardware due to the branding being in their face all the time.

As I can now demonstrate, the editor is back online! More or less. Spellcheck too.
If you want to use code like "card" and "deck" and whatnot, they're found on the far right, under the "Database" drop-down menu!
