At least they fixed yours, I still don't have my weekly quests and game says wait for 6 more days...

I could not agree more and I hope some compensation will still happen down the road. The ongoing latest downwards trend just does not bode well for all of us Hearthstone players.

IMHO, they have to seriously up their A-game regarding player retention.

The only possible positive take I might see here is that this quest issue perhaps has something to do with them trying to change how quests will function and hopefully for the better.  

This dumb deck is so effectively toxic that even bots know to insta-concede when the The Demon Seed is played.

I have never ever experienced this many odd concedes by my opponents before.

Hopefully, this abusive deck will receive its well deserved nerf very soon™.

I find I have a bunch more time to do what I want, now that I'm not beholden to continue the grind. There are days where I'm not sure how exactly I want to *fill* that time, which is normally where Snap or HS could squeeze in, but I've also held up my end and stayed away. Don't even have Battle.net on my computer anymore.

In the mean time, I played a bunch of demos during Steam's Endless Replayability Fest last week, bought two Early Access games for $22 total to support the creators, and bought Hades II for $30. I finished what I could of that, more or less, and it's already an amazing experience. In a couple days I'll pick up the Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door remake, and all of it will have cost me less than Snap and HS!

Just came back this article to follow up on my earlier promise.

When the mini-set dropped, I did indeed grab it for 2000 gold (because why not). At that point, I was just a few levels away from finishing the Reward Track, so I decided to stick around and get everything I paid for in the Tavern Pass. I'm now the proud owner of several more hero portraits that I will never, ever use.

I did not play even a single extra game after hitting level 100. I immediately uninstalled both Hearthstone and the Blizzard launcher. It feels GOOD.

I'm now playing LoR: Path of Champions and having a blast! There's no meta, so balance isn't a big deal. It's actually perfectly fine that some Champions are more challenging to play than others. That's how it's supposed to be. Because it's a deckbuilder, you still get to experiment with different decks and different pairings of Champions, giving it a huge amount of replay value, even when you haven't yet collected a lot of Champions. Truly, there are so many smart decisions in the design of this game that I could go on for days.

Anyway, glad I quit HS, and I hope other people who were thinking about it have also followed through. Blizzard does not deserve your time or money.

To be honest, they were even worse at balancing LoR than Blizzard is at balancing Hearthstone. Additionally, they were WAY too generous with the rewards, so it was extremely easy to play for free. That's why the free-to-play model sucks -- it's too hard to balance greed (which will drive away players sooner or later) vs. making enough money to stay afloat in the long term.

On the bright side, Path of Champions is by far the best deckbuilding roguelike I've ever played. The in-game progression is extremely strategic, and the meta-progression is very satisfying. You get regular incremental improvements that feel meaningful when you level up, but also huge leaps and bounds in power as you add stars to each Champion.There are dozens and dozens of Champions to collect, so replayability is high.

It's probably still too easy to play for free, but maybe they'll figure that out before it's too late.

I feel for ya! Of course you and all others affected should get some sort of compensation. It should have been the bare minimum reaction of handling the situation by Blizzard.

Honest question, did you really expect more than the response you got? I did not.

The graphics of House of Hazards are vivid and attractive, making players lost in the world of the game from the first moment.

The ability to compare scores with friends adds to the competitiveness and fun of playing Block Blast. I always want to get higher scores than them.

After playing a bunch of demos to create an article about the Endless Replayability Fest on Steam, I ended up buying two of them:

1. Never Mourn, an action roguelike where you play a necromancer, with twin hotbars for damage/crowd control and healing/resurrecting minions.
2. Shogun Showdown, a turn-based roguelike where you have to time your actions with the enemy to kill them while minimizing damage to yourself.

They were the most fun, for me anyway, and while they are both Early Access I feel supporting them for $12 and $10 respectively is totally worth it.

About two weeks ago I complained above that I've done nothing gaming-wise, but since then a shit-ton of stuff has happened lol. It has solidified my decision to leave behind Marvel Snap and Hearthstone, because I would not have done nearly as much exploring demos or playing other games if I had to keep going back to them with my time and money.

Something is definitely wrong with the quests since the latest patch indeed, but in a positive way for me (EU server).

Wednesday night I had a chain of 2 quests and I already thought that was kinda weird. Last night, I completed a chain of 7 quests. By the way, I do not think those numbers are fixed, I was simply hampered by my speed of completing them one after another within the timeframe in which the quest issue occurs. Tonight, I will try to optimize my speedrun even further and see how many I can complete.

I believe this is somehow related to the other issue I am experiencing which is also odd. Every time I log in, the Hearthstone mobile app tries to download the High Quality images database again. I imagine that it also resets the parameter which remembers whether or not I already received the new quest of the current day as well. Simple mistake in the code, but I cannot complain because this time it is finally benificial to me.

EDIT: They fixed the issue, I guess it was nice for me while it lasted, oh well.
