Seems like a good card, not as good as it's little brother Oh My Yogg! but still decent at stopping decks from removing your face-going minions. If a secret deck works this will go in it, else you wouldn't hate seeing it from Rinling's Rifle or Beaststalker Tavish.
This seems like a real ungood powershift. The idea that you get 2 secrets, let alone improved ones, cast them, AND your hero power gives you Animal Companion? That seems like swarm/Face hunter going in a different direction and I don't see it really working.

Its not a question of whether this hp is better than the others. Its just that by costing 1 more you'd think that by default it has to be better than the others. And in my opinion, its really not.
Nice thematic similarities to Freezing Trap. Hunter needed another secret that interacts with spells and this one is really great for stalling. Return to hand effects can be quite annoying, especially if used against big spell mage or OTK DH
Well, this is sure to get secret hunter off the ground. Not to mention Tavish is pretty good in any sort of deck, there's no real deckbuilding restrictions with him. The infinite Animal Companion is pretty great value too. We might finally be able to see a control hunter of some sorts, especially with the draw from Dun Baldar Bunker
Agreed for the most part. Im clearly not giving this card its dues, but I still dont think its as good as Oh My Yogg! or even Counterspell. Perhaps I'll get egg on my face again weeks after the expansion, when we discover that even a weak hunter counterspell will wreak the entire meta simply because being able to delay a spell as hunter might just not be fair.
Pretty sure someone will tweet celestalon for an answer. Chances are good you're right, because I really dont think they would specifically code it so it wouldn't happen. Double freezing should work by increasing its cost by 6 (basically killing the target), and the animation will hilariously play out twice.
Oh My Yogg is easy to play around because it’s one of two Secrets that a Paladin might cast. Hunter will (hopefully) end up in a place with 3 or 4 viable secrets. If you keep casting 1-mana spells to test for it, you’ll use a lot of spells inefficiently.
I agree with you that it can whiff, but I’m ok with that. Part of the risk of Secrets is that they might whiff or take too long to trigger, and the payoff is that other times you get a lot of value from them. I like this one mainly because it fleshes out the Hunter’s Secret package in general. Most of their secrets do damage and/or punish you for attacking. This one disrupts your turn, which is something new to consider.
At first glance this looks underwhelming. But honestly, its fine, good even. You can slot this card in most hunter decks if only because the hp is better and you gain 5 armor doing it. And for hunters, that may just be enough honestly. There are plenty of times Deathstalker Rexxar is just played for the 5 armor and clear, which this card is capable of doing just as well.
The improved secrets are good additions. Consider how Rinling's Rifle works in practice, and this card will suddenly look at whole lot better.
The hero power is cute. Being able to essentially summon huffer for 3 mana every turn will at some point tilt the shit out of others. But the real question to ask is why the hell is this valued at 3 mana when you consider that hp from the other heroes. Xyrella straight up deals 5 damage and still manages to cost 2, and Cariel's is straight up Blessing of Kings at 2. So why is this the only one that costs 3? Is it a straight up flavor thing?
When you consider how Oh My Yogg! works and how players play around it, this card is just underwhelming.
The problem is that you're paying 2 mana to potentially waste your opponent's mana, not stop the spell from happening. So what they'll do is to play cheap spells to trigger this, get it sent back to hand, and then continue their turn unabated. Chances are good you'll end up spending more mana than they have because most decks have 1 mana spells somewhere. Gets worse if they have the coin, which is like bartering to rid your secret.
But for being what is essentially a hunter Counterspell, it might still see play regardless, or at very least function like all secrets have regardless of its powerlevel - striking fear into your opponent's hearts. For that reason, this card still gets high praise from me. Just wished the increased cost was 2 instead of 1.
Wailor: Both cards look good, but I like the flavor of Thunderbass more.
Demonxz95: Kinda weak, considering the power level of the cords. And it's dependent on your opponent's hand.
AeroJulwin: I like Inspiring Ballad. Seems a little cheap, but then it feels kinda bad at 3. Maybe +2/+1? The piper is too similar to that one Witchwood legendary.
linkblade91: Love the idea! What are the Worgens summoned by Nightfalls? Raise Some Hell feels like it should be a resurrect effect/Demon summoning effect. We Shall Never Fall looks good.
Those two secrets better line up perfectly because they could work out to be exactly 6 mana's worth. E.g. getting slow 6/6 in snakes and basically killing a minion.
Ok fine that's great, but so slow and could be a 1/1 rush. Hero power is unreliable as well. Empty board summon a 2/4 for 3. It's alright but nothing to lose your mind about.
Pied Piper, on the other hand, could be a cool card if its effect was more related to the tale the card is based on.
Could you elaborate what you had in mind? The Pied Piper used his music to lure/control rats. (Or, at least, that's the part I'm focusing on.) Rush allows you to "control" your minions, which is why I chose it.
I don't want to make another rat-summoning card, and taking control of an enemy Beast seems too specific to be playable, but I suppose a summon (lure) from hand/deck could work. Perhaps:
This allows you to cheat out small cards and synergizes well with Deathrattles.
I personally still like the simplicity of my first design, but do agree it might be a bit boring.Forgot about Houndmaster Shaw, so I'll be going with the new idea. Would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Your last point may be the most important one. Losing your turn can be a lot more devastating against a Hunter than it is against a Paladin or Mage.
New Hunter Spell - Ice Trap

Sweet card, goes in any hunter deck except Quest Hunter. Can't wait to huffer my opponent's face every turn.
New Hunter Spell - Ice Trap
I really really like this. It's not a hard counter, but it does slam the pause button pretty hard for a caster

The hero power is random, just like the spell, so you won't get Huffer every turn.
Cariel's power is not Blessing of Kings. It affects a random card in your hand, so it's a lot worse. (Random and no immediate impact.)
Xyrella's power flips back and forth between healing and damage (not 5 damage every turn), and the opponent will always know which one to prepare for.
I'm not saying this is quite as good as those, but c'mon, you severely overhyped those other hero powers.
