If you can get this out early it's game winning and it's still powerful later on. The main issue right now is the density of big spells. Outside of Mask, Deep Freeze, Flamestrike and possibly Overflow (which isn#t all that good when cast randomly) there's nothing relevant you can pull with this....yet.

Balinda into Potion of Illusion

Alright, now we're getting into something. Sure, this is slow...very slow even and it discourages you from running small spells, which is...less than ideal considering how Mage doesn't have very good minions (yet), but the fact that you can now build a dedicated Big Spell deck is already enough in my opinion.

If you draw the Tower you're gonna have a good time for the next 3 turns. Deep Freeze only targets enemies and is therefore great for tempo. Mask of C'Thun is also great. I'm assuming we're getting at least one more big spell to really have this all come together, + the potential of the Hero card, as well as potentially useful minions.

On the other hand this makes me question if Big Spell Mage (in this form) is a good idea. It's not going to be a control deck like in the past and it'll heavily rely on getting a big swing fast before it inevitably loses the board (like Hero Power Mage does).

They were both playing as themselves, the Mage as Balinda and the Warrior as Galvangar. I don't think they'll be a skin; it was just for the video.

So the first spell drawn changes the Atk and the second the Def, right? @Balinda

Not gonna lie, i stopped playing the game but this does make me slightly interested in giving it another chance. I'm gonna wait for the dust to settle though. I don't want to start playing it and see everything turn into another Aggro/Combo hybrid meta.

Mage' cards are interesting but they'll require Big Spell archetype to be playable whiich I don't think will see play in this expansion

Not just two Ignites but two Snap Freezes as well, in a Big Spell deck? Either they were generated or Balinda is a mad person.

Frozen Buckler makes more sense now for Captain Galvangar synergy.

Love big spell discounts with Balinda Stonehearth and Iceblood Tower discounted or cast for free with Clumsy Courier for a big spell centric deck could see some play (still need that one huge spell payoff for this archetype to make it make sense for a control Mage deck).

Not sold on this one. We're not in a meta where Rogue is eager to tank face damage (and no we're not running Paralytic POison just for this). In a world where most decks are built around synergy getting random cards off the top is just not as valuable as...well...random ones, as dumb as that sounds.

At least it's a fun card to use. I hope there's some random weapon generation coming at some point because I wouldn't want this in my deck, but as a discover option it's nice.

problem is they are very noticeable in all of her portraits (from the Barrens battlepass) but completely invisible on all the card art. This is similar to the Scabbs issue where the Undercover Scabbs portrait (the last one from the current BP) has 5 fingers, when gnomes in general only have 4 (the way it is on all the other artworks).

Basically I'm at this point convinced that they outsourced a lot of this year's artwork and didn't give the artists accurate Reference sheets, which leads to these inconsistencies.

Is everyone just incapable of reading? HEAD. TENTACLES. Tentacles that are placed on her head and visible in her Portraits for instance. The come out at both sides of her face. All Draenei have them. For fuck's sake people, a little bit of effort please.

I mostly play Reno Secret Hunter in Wild (FWIW - on HSReplays, Hunter is the 3rd-best Reno class, with a 53.9% win-rate.) My own deck plays 10 Secrets, so there won't be a problem giving any of the new Secret-synergy cards a test-run. Secret Hunter won't be viable in Wild, and although Even Hunter (62.6%) remains one of the top decks in the format, neither of the new cards is fast enough for the deck to run.

In Standard, the deck will only see play if it's better than simply going face, though a possible alternative is a hybrid deck - Aggro Secret Hunter. It's certainly possible if there are enough ways for the deck to play free-ish Secrets.

This weapon comes from the vender outside Alterac. The Lobotomizer it's an epic dagger, You have yo do lots of battles in Alterac to get the option to buy it. It comes to rogue because was a great weapon yo have. 

The fact that has honorable kill si because You had to do a Lot of pvp and get honorable kills in Alterac. 

I hope we have some kind of burgle rogue in standart next year

That‘s the kind of tool I like in arena. Great value when used correctly, hence rewarding good play. I don’t see this contribute to any game plan rogue might pursue in standard though. 
In wild, it surely won’t make the cut into burgle rogues either because you want that life steal weapon or at least the quest
