Scorpid is good now and literally never again. It heavily benefits from the Core Set changes and the fact that this is the lowest the spell pool will ever be (presumably the same will happen at the start of next year). You can't nerf a Discover card just because it's a good card in literally the best circumstances possible
The probable targets for a nerf will likely be either Apotheosis, Renew or Venomous Scorpid. Renew would probably get bumped 1 mana up to remove it from wandmaker's pool, apotheosis at 4 might prevent the usual reno scenario a little later, and while Im not exactly very happy to see scorpid nerfed this card is a near guaranteed addition into anything that's not pure aggro its amazing. Nerfing its health to 2 might make it harder as an auto include while making it easier to clear so its not always the best thing to do on 3.
As for druid, well. One card can't fix the sorry state of the class, but if it has to be one card then its obviously going to be Lightning Bloom. Gibberling nerf would be fine, but the only reason why its a problem card is the mana cheat, not the burst gibberling bs on turn 1. Make it refresh mana instead of giving mana would change everything, removing the essential problem of the card, whether its in duels (where its funnily banned) or ranked constructed.
NOt it's not. There's plenty of heal cards (Devouring Plague for instance) that also do the job but Apo makes them obsolete and is the reason we ahve the bloated greed Priest that is plaguing ladder right now
Classic hearthstone team. Nerf priest ability to heal and generate cards when that's literally the only gameplan they give us. I'm all for nerfing unfun decks but apo is literally the only chance we have agaisnt face hunter.
Priest is literally the best deck in the game at most higher levels with basically no bad matchups. DH and Face Hunter aren't even great once you get to rank 5 and can be bullied by Paladin even.
Honestly, Token Druid is still going to be a thing. All they'll likely do is up Gibberling to 2-mana at which point you can't create an unclearable board on turn 1 giving the opponent more chance to build up a response. Glowfly will still be fine and who's to say what support they'll be getting in the future set.
NO idea why people keep picking Renew. That card is average at best. Remove Apotheosis and suddenly Priest will feel the burn and will have to radically adjust their decks to actually survive against aggro.
Nerfing the generic one-time generators right before a new expansioon will pollute the pool and serve as a natural balance change is just stupid. If anything Sethekk needs to go (and that one isn't even a staple if I remember correctly)
oh yeah if anything in the realm of generation gets hit it's probably Sethekk because that's the only thing that really creates an overload of cards. Renew and Palm Reading are fine and if you nerf them you just basically ruin any chance of Priest doing anything in the coming expansions. Don't be a sheep and listen to the Reddit circlejerk, they still believe Warlock is a real class.
Now after the last nerf debacle (Incanter's Flow is still OP and SPell Mage is only waiting for something stupid to come back and RNG everyone to death again) I'M cautiously optimistic, but I think they might make the right choice and nerf Apotheosis for Priest.
I've been playing a lot of Priest lately and also played against a fair share of them (duh) and I realized that the class has not only become excessively greedy to win the mirror but is also incredibly vulnerable to aggro at this point. The only thing that really keeps them in the game is how broken Apo is (not only with Samuro but any minion because you need to dedicate ressources to kill it before you get to pressuring again)
Honestly I believe that if Apo gets nerfed into a state where it comes down much later (or only retains Lifesteal for a turn) there is probably not even a need for any other Priest nerfss. The only reason why they are this annoying is because Apo is such a massive insurance that you can get away with basically just running greedy value and dropping most of the removal (most decks run neither Holy Smite or SW:D at this point despite there being so many targets. Fucking hell, the only reason Southsea Scoundrel is a thing is because the mirror is prevalent and that is your main win condition. This should be a tech card not an auto-include)
But then again they'll probably just up the cost on some spells that will be replaced in the coming expansion and Apo remains untouched and everyone blames all of Priest's problems on their card generation (which is just a scapegoat aat this point, by the next expansion the spell pooll will be so diluted that Wandmaker and Scorpid probably won't even make it into the deck anymore because you actually need the proper spells at the right time.)
Gibberling is guaranteed at this point. I have no idea how an absolute abomination like that was ever allowe to exist to begin with. I wish I had just stuck to my guns back in Scholomance and kept my extra copies.
They said they are nerfing burst healing, there's no reason to nerf palm reading. Honestly I'd be fine with Palm Reading to 4: it just makes it only viable to use if you have 4+ spells in hand. Nerfing renew to 2 mana makes it trash though. Right now Runed Orb in mage is barely used except in no minion, and while a decent card, it damages for 2 and discovers. However damage can be used as both removal, and as reach and isn't as useful as healing.
I'm not really happy about this. Looks like they are nerfing gibbering druid. Which, don't get me wrong, I hate when I get blown out by an early gibbering board, but this just pushes every druid back into clown (which is also infuriating for different reasons)
And nerfing/complaining about Priest is the hip thing to do right now, but honestly Priest has NO other decks. Without card generation and burst healing priest has no viable deck.
I'm sure renew is gonna get hit, but that just makes the class as a whole MUCH worse. They pretty much only have 1 viable deck, and that's control through attrition. I know that some people don't like that, and feel annoyed when priests discover the "perfect" answers, but you never remember the games you won because your opponent priest discovered and whiffed on their discover and ended up with multiple shadowform spells.
Overall priest was the only thing keeping other decks in check. We'll see how the nerfs pan out, but I'm actually disappointed that Blizzard is responding to the cries for nerfs.
And yes, I'm primarily a priest player, I just don't enjoy any of the other decks cause there are really no good control decks that are viable right now. (Shaman is midrange, DH is midrange or OTK, Hunter is aggro, Warlock is just trash, Warrior only has rush/frenzy, Druid has Token and Clowns, and probably the only class with 2 semi viable decks that are vastly different from one another).
I'd say Gibberling and Renew to 2, and Palm Reading to 4, but I'd prefer if one of them is Raise Dead to slightly tone down Darkglare Warlock in Wild too.
I didn't think your deck was strong, better composition of a shaman deck: Galakrond + Shudderwock, it's from this guy here: https://hearthstone-decks.net/shudderwock-shaman-182-legend-hswhitedelight/ The problem that the author created before the release of Mutanus the Devourer, so you should change it. I recommend not using the shaman's legendary quest, because of this lackey: Grizzled Wizard.
because as ive said Blizzard has created brands with these games, and ppl can get attached to it pretty hard to the point they will always be on their side. its called brand attachment that sometimes can lead to what its called fanboys.
im pretty happy with everything in OW and HS atm and them bringing out HS 2 and OW 2 is cool and im not worried about it one bit, and i was just giving out an opinion that its pointless to bring out a OW 2 and HS 2 when they could just do a huge update, i mean owners of OW 1 will get OW 2 pvp for free so it kinda of goes with what ive said about the live service game brand.
Back when Vargoth came out every Priest player in Wild immediately started using him in Big Priest while I was using him in an Aggro/Midrange Priest with big burst potential to finish the game via Vargoth + 2x Mind Blast, then a third cast by Vargoth himself. I kind of want to revisit that idea following the release of the Stormwind set!
My follow up question on the Core cards rotating out would be if we get to keep them when they go Wild only or would we need to craft them? I assume we keep them but you never know!

Devouring Plague is unplayable, just compare it to Drain Life - half cost and you can target the damage to any minion

Just dont nerf Hunter... Most oppressive deck. So just nerf all decks that can beat it somehow.

Priest is like sixth place in HS Replay. Elemental Shaman and Face Hunter are dominating.

Changing the cost of Raise Dead to 1 might actually be a buff because then you can combo it with Tamsin and end up with 3 or 4 copies of it.
