Eh, but why only stop with hero portrait border? I think it's possible to add something else to the portrait. Like a small golden stars, or hearthstone icon, or expansion watermark. Golden font is available too. Different banner. Fancy health & attack number, etc.
My point is, we could always ask for our own custom 'badge' editor in the game.

Dean also finally answered the question about the conflict between adding new Hero skins and showing off 1.000+ class wins. We won't see anything like new Hero Power borders in the near future, but at least he sympathizes. (Source)

Hearthstone is expensive to have fun in, that's a fact. But after the improvements made to the initial reward track, I can safely say that it has genuinely made the game less expensive than it was formerly, at least to me anyway. There's also the fact that hearthstone is infinitely more approachable to new players now than it has been since last year, let alone when I first started in 2016.

Every deck is roughly equal in terms of winrate at 52% suggesting it doesnt really matter what you play.
Swim got to diamond with Poros and lists it as an A tier deck, is it actually no...but again it doesn't really matter what he chose to play outside of that narrow margin of top decks.
How do I feel about this? The competitive deck brewer in me is frustrated by the fact that the only way to get a leg up is to play lists that essentially don't make sense.
But the casual player in me is happy that you can essentially play whatever the hell you want and have the same chance of winning as long as you aren't rolling S tier deck lists.
I like the little "Declare Your Allegiance" at the end of the first video. Would be cool if you had to "pick a side" somehow at the beginning of the event.
Would you pay 4 mana to give a unit 4/2 overwhelm? YES YOU WOULD. Would you play shurima to just do that? I guess not. I currently don't envision any deck besides overwhelm decks that would be great profiteers of this card and I don't know if this card, despite being really strong will make it
I don't know how good he's going to be but there are so many decks that you can build around him that I can't help but be excited.
He is meant as an inevitable, slow wincondition kinda like lissandra thralls are. I would not be surprised if we would see an all in cooldown reduction build trying to clone his leveled up landmark and burry the opponent in value... if you get to draw him early. The fact that this gameplan has a serious failcase however makes me think that he won't be too good.
Anyways: he does rediculous strong things for being just a 2 drop and is already better than Zileanimo
The surprise MVP for me was Healing Totem, which always stops your minions from dying to Mini-Rag. (Note Rag does still gain attack when he reduces your minions to 0 health, but the totem brings them back to 1 health afterwards.) It was so good I went out of my way to make Odd Shaman just to guarantee I had one of these guys around.
