  • United in Stormwind Community Card Reveals Begin on July 20

Hope you're right. I went into the link and saw the 'full' schedule and looks to me like its two days.

If you're referring to the pics as individual cards, I think its fair to say that there's no guarantees that its a one-card deal per pic. There have been times where we're treated to 6 cards at once, so we can't safely assume anything from the number of pics available.

  • C'Thun Control Shaman!

I don't know, my winrate has been a lot better than the displayed from HSreplay. For me it played like a typical current deck. I don't care for elemental or aggro shaman so this deck made the Firelands Shaman quest a lot less painful than it could have been.

Depends where you are in the ladder.

Priest is a high skill cap deck, in the hands of the best players (i.e. high legend), it's win rate changes. There a reason its the most played class in high legend. You could try watching nohandsgamer's stream. He plays priest (he likes playing the best/meta decks) and the amount of mirrors he plays is insane (I would prolly quit playing if that were me).

Although the shenanigans of priest exists in all ranks of play. Priest has a lot of powerful but situational cards. Most of these cards you don't main deck since they are situational. Discover along with a small spell pool, makes it so priest can pick the best possible card in the current situation.

As the VS peeps have said, playing against priest is like playing vs a 50 card decks, and those 20 cards can be anything. So it's impossible to play around anything, and why it seems priest always have the answer every time.

The article clearly states: "Like other card reveal periods, we're expecting them to last around a week". Also, there are literally only 12 cards on that screencap, and only 7 on July 20th, so you can assume that Blizzard isn't going to be revealing 7 cards on one day and 128 cards on the next.

  • Three New Shurima Followers Revealed for Legends of Runeterra's Ruination Event

You're right; it does seem to be worded that way.

Seems ridiculously easy to level him up, if that's the case.

But hey, makes sense. Warlord's Palace has the same countdown as a Frozen Thrall, and those are popping up all over the place, so...

Came up with a card idea but realized someone already posted one just like it as I was writing feedback. Dang. I'll try to come up with something else before the deadline, but here's some feedback anyway.

    Arkasaur:

I like the idea, although I would personally up the durability and just have it summon one at a time (also capitalize Durability).

    Wailor:

For balance I'd either lower the Durability or shuffle the armor into your deck instead.

I do sympathize, its sort of like THAT month during the year at work when circumstances forces everyone to be on 15 hour days without overtime pay.

But selfishly I really prefer a longer reveal schedule, then there's more time to think about the cards and its place in the upcoming meta.

  • United in Stormwind Community Card Reveals Begin on July 20

Am I right in seeing that the reveals are all done in two days?

Wow, I mean, we've gone from a week long full of reveals to cramming as many as 150 cards in two days. Hopefully this is only a prelude, so the reveal schedule is actually alot longer than what we're seeing.

    Staff Pro

As someone who has to sit around and deliver the news as soon as cards come out, I'm very happy about their changes.

When it used to be just over 2 weeks for card reveals, I got sick every. single. time. The sleeping schedule meant I'd get very little of it which only caused more stress over getting everything right. Not to mention the huge productivity tank that occurs during a card reveal period because of how bad the sleeping is. That sickness would then screw me up for 2-4 days which usually meant that pre-expac preparations took a tank as well.

A week in total though, with a dead weekend that has no reveals breaking up two chunks of days, my body no longer hates me.

I also do think this is better overall for engagement. As much as I'd love the extra ad revenue for 2-3 weeks of reveals, it feels like people get more hyped because they don't have a chance for it to die down. Also, we've always had a dry period between announcement and reveals, so not much has changed there. We just get to the expansion a bit faster overall from the initial announcement.

Why do they do this? I'd rather have a few cards every day for a month than ten a day over two weeks. The dry period is so painful.

  • Legends of Runeterra Reveals Akshan's Champion Card and More!

Really interesting, pretty flexible champion, might work well in a few different decks.

    Sort of like Aphelios.

  • Region Stats Are Not Encouraging

I would say it is an improvement for sure. It just feels weird hard to put my finger on it.

I gave the poros example on purpose, and we can lump yetis in.

Like how is this as good as a highly synergistic list built around champions.

Probably because high deck building.costs, card sequencing, and predictability is bad right now vs just playing weird beef from hand.

  • Ragnaros' Fire Festival

Really mind boggling how many opponents do not read or understand what the goal is of this particular Tavern brawl. Flabbergasted.

  • Dean Ayala's Hearthstone Community Q&A #20 - Hero Cards Returning, Wailing Caverns Original Card Designs, & More!

    • Hero cards will be making a return in the future.
    • The mercenaries will return in the last expansion of the year and "they will be very cool". No spoilers.

Just link the dots lmao. Gonna be great building these characters' backgrounds and personalities the whole year to get them finally as hero cards in the last exp. They'll probably clash against each other's faction in Alterac Valley. Very cool idea!

  • Three Card Balance Changes Arrive in Hearthstone on July 15 - Druids and Priests Getting Nerfed

I can see it getting a Mana nerf, just to remove the explosive T1 games where the Druid has a full board of 2/2s

  • Tools Of The Trade - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread

@Wailor That definitely looks better, in my opinion.

@Arkasaur I prefer the Mirror Images over the Spell Damage idea, but it's not very...profession tools-y. It's just a magic ring, flavor-wise. I might be the only one hung up on this *shrugs* Oh and Durability should be capitalized :P

Edit: No one told me that "Mechanical" is spelled wrong on both of my ideas lol. Glad I noticed before submitting :P

  • Three Card Balance Changes Arrive in Hearthstone on July 15 - Druids and Priests Getting Nerfed

Scorpid is good not merely because its a discover option, but also because it forces a trade in nearly every circumstances and is nearly impossible to ignore. I mean, dropping scorpid has literally little to no downside unless you're dying on board.

As I mentioned, Im not exactly happy if it does get nerfed, but if it did I wouldn't be surprised at all.

  • Three Card Balance Changes Arrive in Hearthstone on July 15 - Druids and Priests Getting Nerfed

Because the deck is making people literally quit the game. it is that fucking unfun. Control Priest is a lot stronger in legend.

  • Three Card Balance Changes Arrive in Hearthstone on July 15 - Druids and Priests Getting Nerfed

Pretty sure it'll be equally broken because it more or less thins down the pool each time so double Soul Mirror is a near guaranteed in every game.

  • Three Card Balance Changes Arrive in Hearthstone on July 15 - Druids and Priests Getting Nerfed

Dhunters, specifically deathrattles are good. Playing it in diamond 5 right now and depending on the build you're running, its only true weakness is its somewhat slower early game and losing your inquisitor to a mutanus.

Don't know why people are still complaining about hunter when its barely beating anything at higher levels right now.

  • Three Card Balance Changes Arrive in Hearthstone on July 15 - Druids and Priests Getting Nerfed

Scorpid -> Palm Reading -> Renew -> Raise Death -> Scorpid.. etc is so much fun.. Priest is such a degenerate greed deck. Its like killing someone with fucking tweezers.

  • Three Card Balance Changes Arrive in Hearthstone on July 15 - Druids and Priests Getting Nerfed

Non of the decks have a really high winrate over all the ranks. This is clearly a balance patch to attack some of the problems people have with with not enjoying the game. Saw a tweet a while back from one of the Vicious syndicate guys who mentioned no class had ever so many t1 concedes as priest, even more than old quest rogue. As for spell druid its clear a nerf directed at getting such a massive early game advantage that you almost certainly win. (Btw according to HSreplay Spell Druid has a higher winrate than face hunter, not by much though)

  • Three Card Balance Changes Arrive in Hearthstone on July 15 - Druids and Priests Getting Nerfed

I would love to see a change to Discover mechanic - you cannot discover the same card twice in a single game. That means, if you selected a card from discover eff3ct it will not be discoverable again. That would make the decisions more strategical.
