Yeah, the flavor text on these ones is a lot of fun. I always look through the flavor text and full art on day one, but of course I read them out of order because I went through everything by mana cost.
This is my first idea. I was directly inspired by @Nirast's usage of Thunderfury in our mod Discord channel, so if they disapprove of the similarity I will back down.
It originally Invoked Galakrond, the Tempest but I removed it to save on words (and make the weapon more universal). I did however keep the watermark as Galakrond's Awakening; we'll pretend The Fist of Ra-den isn't there too lol.
Gameplay-wise, this works very well with the aforementioned Galakrond and his enablers. You can also combine Thunderfury with Speaker Gidra, Walking Fountain, Runic Carvings, and the dreaded Crabrider. Any Rush minions will do, but these are probably the best targets.
Not sure if this has synergies that make it broken.
Seems pretty neat, although it potentially does a lot more than Elise the Enlightened does for 1 less mana. Conversely, your deck would now have duplicates, disabling other Highlander cards like Zephrys the Great and kind of undermining the deck's "flavor".
Ultimately not sure how to grade it. Love the art and the name, though.
I did all three Hunter, Druid and Warrior, but now I´m stuck at Rogue, cause I didn´t check the cards first and now I´ve found out that I´m missing two key epics: Potion of Illusion and Bamboozle. Now I´m having a dilemma - is it worth to craft them in order to complete the puzzle and get the cardback? I don´t play the Rogue class at all, Potion of Illusion might be worth a craft, but I´m not really convinced to use 400 dust for Bamboozle. I was thinking about putting dicovering cards in the quest deck to find them, but it could take ages to get them that way. Might as well wait if I open them in packs? Does anyone know it I could possibly open the two in recent Year of the Phoenix packs? :/
Edit - Sorry for some of the duplicate info; I was too slow looking up cards, haha XD
Both cards are from sets released in the Year of the Phoenix so you should have a chance at them. However, IIRC, an epic is only guaranteed every 10 packs so the odds probably aren't in your favor.
Personally, I'd go the Discover route depending on your collection. Keep in mind that you can build a Wild deck so you have quite a few options.
In the rare case you have Keywarden Ivory, your odds of getting Potion of Illusion are pretty good. You could also roll the dice with a bunch of secrets if you have Shadowjeweler Hanar. There are a number of cards that will generate random Legendary minions which would give you a shot at these two, but they're probably not worth it if you have some of the cards listed below...

You could open them in Phoenix packs, yes, although the odds are slim unless they're the last epics you need to get.
The good news is that neither of those cards are especially difficult to discover, provided you have Shadowjeweler Hanar and Keywarden Ivory who each have fairly small card pools (9 rogue secrets and 24 dual class spells). Without them you have to contend with discovering from the full Wild pool of spells in rogue (or mage with Wand Thief), which is certainly possible but will take a lot longer.
Also seems like you could build a really cool Wild version of this deck with both N'zoths (and Hadronox!).
Yes and no. While the potential value vould be off the charts, i imagine you vould rarely get it, because you would need all, or most, of your minions to die to have space for new ones from Hadronox. I mean it could work and could be decent anti-board clear protection, but it would be extremelly slow. I dont think games in wild go for that long.
Personnaly I'd still like to see your kobold tribe. I doubt theyre 100% identical to the new quilboar tribe, are they?
As for nagas, I like the concept of attack thresholds, but it is paradoxical that the threshold is higher on golden versions. It means it's a straight up downgrade. Also I too "bgfied" Zola the Gorgon in the past and I've been told it'd be too OP in BGs due to "golden" having a huge gameplay impact.
Yes, you can get both in Year of the Phoenix packs. Alongside discovering cards you can also add Togwaggle's Scheme to shuffle in more of these discovering cards into your deck. If you don't plan to ever use those cards I personally wouldn't craft them.
I would like to point out that Blizzard developed the current tournament structure in cooperation with the Grandmaster players, and they all said that they were OK with Specialist as long as it wasn't the only format for the season. So calling it "the worst" and "the most boring" format is very subjective.
Personally, I like the addition of a sideboard, and the various ways the players are using it: as intended (to adjust to their opponent), but also as a red herring or even a psychological deterrent. This gives us some insight into their thought process and personality, which I find fascinating.
It's also interesting to see how the different regions reacted -- I don't think the differences would be quite so apparent with another format.
Objectively, it's also led to some of the shortest matches ever at this level; blitzchung and shaxy played a full 3-game match in about 15 minutes, which is probably a record.

I was looking for just such a deck, 'cause I wanted to play menagerie in Standard but I suck at making my own. Thanks for this :)

This is a solo adventure - I don't want to see any doubling up!
This time, anchorm4n wants to make sure every class has the chance to go duplicate free - without relying on Zephrys and Reno, that is!
As always, I can be reached through Discord or here on the site via PM if you have any issues to report.

Prolonged Growth is just pre-nerfed 2-mana Wild Growth with extra steps. There is no difference, isn't it?

I've been wanting to find a fun deck with Plaguemaw after getting him in gold from the pre-order. Thanks for this list! Will definitely give it a go.
