I'm feeling good today. I finally managed to crawl past the 1,000-win barrier for that Demonic Illidan portrait, and then an hour later I get a G'huun the Blood God from my tavern brawl pack. 

The art of these cards have so much flavour in its design and effects. It looks like the designers had a lot of fun designing these cards.

I really think it is a missed oppertunity that there was not more lore or a big event to promote the races.

There are even race-cards in other sets and relevant spells. But well, mercenaries should be the next big thing.

The class's tier 2 Armor reward is up!

2k gold is totally worth it given the fact that most of them are still played, but I have to admit I miss those LoE and Karazhan adventures!

I think it's a good deal whether you are f2p or not.  

Worst case you can dust cards for a better gold to dust ratio than typically found in packs as the article says.

More relevant to the next miniset though - the counter argument is that if you don't buy it you will likely get all the commons and most rares from just packs obtained from end of season, twitch drops etc especially if you are already saving them up.  That does come at the expense of being less likely to get cards you need from the released Barrens set though depending on how much of it you already have.

 

If you're going for whether the set is good in terms of meta relevance, then maybe 2k gold or 20 bucks is a little steep. Nearly all the good cards are rares and commons and the only legendary with even the broadest relevance would be Moonfang, not rustwix, and even then its not really that good.

Of course, there's still another year so there's always the chance both Keywarden Ivory and Dark Inquisitor Xanesh would be relevant at some point, but I think its unlikely.

But if youre like me and would prefer to climb up the ladder with meme decks then this is an absolute must get, because its 4 legendaries for 20 bucks (or 2k gold), unlike the ready-to-go decks (which incidentally is quite hilarious because a nerf patch would be in literally a week after they're open for sale) which may fetch you duplicate legendaries.

Sorry for necro-ing this thread, but I just have to share this. I finally did it; 1,000 wins with Demon Hunter for that sweet, sweet Demonic Illidan portrait. What a grind these past few months have been for this class, it feels like I've been stuck in 850+ wins forever. 

With such a hostile meta for DH (thanks, Paladins!), the grind for 1k wins had me feeling like Germany at the gates of Moscow during WW2; I could see the spires of the Kremlin from where I am, but the harsh winter of a Paladin meta has stopped my advance dead in its tracks. So many battles lost, so many minefields and obstacles harassing me along the way, that I felt like giving up and just hoping for nerfs that would slay my hated foe and clear my path. But no! I said to myself to hell with these Paladins and Warriors, I will forge on with my Deathrattle DH deck and its 38% win rate, fight tooth and nail, by hook or by crook. No waiting for nerfs! And with those rallying words I crashed through that 1,000-win barrier and claimed that portrait in all its demonic glory. 

(Did I just compare myself to Nazis? I guess I just did, and besides, that's probably what you're thinking of me for playing such a degenerate class :P) 

Anyway, that's another thousand-win portrait for me after Warrior. It took me a little over a year to get this portrait, and I would've gotten it faster had I spammed DH more before Soul DH got nerfed. I haven't been playing a lot these past two months so there's no other progress on other classes, so I've made no significant strides on 500 wins with Priest or Shaman. 

Can't wait for the nerfs to come so I can stomp on these Paladins with my Demonic Illidan. Vengeance will be had!

Saw your post, thanks. I decided not to risk it, as I won't have much use of those missing legendaries if I craft them (except for Edwin). Unlikely, but maybe one day Blizzard will revert the number to 33.

I'm using this deck for my own joy but you might like it;

Deck's aim is simple, put mushrooms and drop Rex.

It's almost same with my first version when Bilgewater expansion was first released, I have added just Hexcore Foundry to it when Targon comes. Monster Harpoon is the latest addition to the deck with last cards.

Hello guys, if you are interested with new cards but bored to play same types that has been found in first days here is some weird decks you might be interested in.

Just try to find posse and dupe them.

A Yasuo deck try with new stun cards of Targon.

Another Yasuo deck that tries to damage opponent's minions with Blades and surprise drop Aurok Glinthorn to stun them all. Try Vanguard's Edge when they have attack token to stop them attacking and attack for next turn to win. Something like this;

This deck is aiming to drop Jarvan IV with Blade attacks, some good mentions about it is bouncing Jarvan IV with Lead and Follow and another free Challenge with Barrier of him, it also lets us to drop Jarvan IV in opponent's attack turn.

Blades and Spiders with, Neverglade Collector. It drains when they die but needs opponent to block them most of the time because they obliterate themselves after attacks. They mostly block tho.

A shuffle deck. Shuffle more Khahiri the Returneds, Time Bombs or Chirean Sumpworkers by the state of the game. Iterative Improvement is also good with Mechanized Mimic in some situations.

Another Sumpworks Posse deck. I didn't like the Heimerdinger version so I did a version of mine with the cards I like to play.

I will add some more decks when i find some interesting stuff with other heroes as well but firstly I need to acquire them and waiting to complete regional rewards for that. Check this thread later for more decks.

And feel free to make any changes with your collection and your thoughts, these decks are placeholders for some ideas, not refined versions of the decks and won't be last versions probably. They are here for just inspiration.

When I saw Blizzard and Cris Attalus trying to make her known I subbed and watched some of her Youtube videos. She is not known because she is only good looking, Her commentary is bland and obvious, her plays are safe and her explanations are shallow. Yeah, I get she has a great body and face but it's the internet, I don't watch HS streamers because they are beautiful. I watch them because they are fun and charismatic, and she has this "I deserve to be known" attitude I really disliked and kept being negative about random stuff. And the last time I checked, before unsubscribing to her Youtube, she smurffed to something like 4k and kept uploading random not memorable games. Like... if you can't even try to make Dragon Pirates or whatever Frankenstein warband in BGs at 3-4k mmr... why would I watch the video? 

You're totally right, why do people press ads in Youtube when they can put ads in Metacafe?! It's stupid really, if they want a broader audience they should stop using google and start using Bromeo and gagmemes.com!

Hate this card with every ounce of my very self.

Paladin is ridiculous on ladder. Mage is still ridiculous, as evidenced by the godawful tournament they're broadcasting this weekend. The meta is not is the least bit healthy.

They've also destroyed Battlegrounds. We did not need more tribes, especially not one so obviously and hideously overpowered as Quillboars.

Mankrik won't be nerfed. His angry form might be. I doubt that counts for a dust refund. It's still a very solid card.

Currently at 75 (no tavern pass) and had just enough total levels to pick Transcendence Anduin.
Priest is my least played class but thought this one is pretty cool and I like the emotes.

Thanks for answer. I have done all of them and I asked this because when i first encounter it, i feel like "Oh, we need to try these keys on cubes and will try to keep them at same health after we tried" and expected that kind of logic but well, it ended up for attacks and like i said, with only attacking left-most minion, it felt weird to solve that puzzle because we don't even tried other keys on cubes. :)

I loved all of them but don't like rogue's one. Sorry Celestalon but it seems like it themed poorly. :( Best one is Druid's for sure.

Azir / Irelia is definitely better than Azir / MF. 
I hope we get enough Fiora’s out there to eat their damn lunch. Although I’m starting to push some stalls or lose by a turn
