Perhaps it includes non-basic Hero Powers? Like Shadowform? Or DKs in Wild? Then it could be interesting, but otherwise just a fun card.

I personally don't see this being played. Outside of Libram of Wisdom, you likely won't have enough spells to make more than a few tokens. In general you'd probably rather run something that is powerful by itself, rather than something that requires you to be holding other specific cards.

If the initial version was one more health or attack this would be insane. As is, it's OK. The rank ups are nice, though. 

This could also see play in Control decks kinda like Plague of Flames. It only requires one friendly minion.

if this can be buffed you can have lots of mana reduction and a threat that needs to be removed or you are going to face lots of tempo turns against some pally spell

nice effect and can be used as an alternative hero power for a rogue with lots of weapons in the deck. it enables combo too because of the low mana cost. love it

Zilliax, except it reduces the cost of cards in your hand instead of taunt. This will be played. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this was played in decks without holy spells just for the stats.

*edit* I just realized this doesn't have lifesteal. Still not a terrible card, just not as crazy as I first thought.

so you can play this on a board full of 6 health minions and you wont burn any cards.  huh.

This does not answer to my point. In short, what I said is "This effect is boring for a legendary card".

They could have easily made a rare/epic card with similar effect.

Survival of the... Dude-est? Could be super anoying in whatever the pure/libram crap turns into. 

I feel like others, this comes into best at rank 2 or higher, but coincidentally this fits in with the new hunter legendary in that 2 slot (Which at the moment, I see as most contested). Now we need some good 3 cost spells for value/spell/midrange hunter please!
