I don't think a one mana discount on what is effectively a Radiance effect will warrant running Desperate Prayer as it is still too low impact on its own. Thst being said, Gadgetzan Auctioneer is sticking around in the core set, so maybe there is a miracle combo deck that wants to run 0-mana spells and Auctioneer like with the fringe Chef Nomi deck.

EDIT: I missed the news on both Boar and Bluegill retaining charge and going to Wild. I'll have to find a way to include Boar now since 1 mana 5/5 charge is pretty good.
Maybe effective in Wild mode with plague od flames. Other scenarios are not promising. Possibly a synergy with unrevealed cards from Barrens may change the fate of the card.
Battlegrounds is stil in beta because they are still changing core aspects of the game like the Darkmoon prizes or the variable health system they mentioned a while ago.
