The question is - after we play the buffed copy - 3/4 - does it have the same "Frenzy" just like this 1/3 version? Flavour text strongly suggests that it is the case :D And if so - then this can be a strong card in some Midrange Hunter...
I remember when some time ago it was mentioned that Deathstalker Rexxar was not going to support new cards after his year in standard. I was really happy to see that this end up not being the case. So yeah, really happy to merge this with another great beast, maybe Vicious Scalehide
About the flipside, if you are ramping it will be difficult to get into that situation for the opponent. However in that situations you can just play other cards if you have them.
Most of the time you will be hitting a midrange minions, and that's really good.
It's not as strong as Coilfang Warlord, although saying that a card isn't as strong as DH card isn't saying much. XD
It's also in a class that usually makes better usage of big cards. It does basically deal 7 damage before transforming into a 6/7. It's pretty strong in Druid, so I say it's pretty good.
This card immediately tells me that there will be some hand-buffing in the set. Handbuffing rarely works out well, but it were to, then I would definitely expect this card to show up there. Some classes can buff his attack (and damage) him pretty easily, so he might be good there.
At basically any stage of the game, this is a decent removal card. As a Nature spell, it can also be really useful with Bru'kan for removing large threats, and I reckon there will be more Nature spell synergy. All in all, seems like a good card.
As a card by itself, it's bad. You'd have to be desperate to run it for that purpose. Nobody is going to run it for its intended purpose.
But as a 0-mana spell, it's obviously useful for Priest combo spell stuff so it might end up seeing quite a bit of play for that purpose (which I find a bit hilarious).
Yeah, especially since people are most likely just going to comment without reading the rest of the thread first. I'm guilty of it too, I like actually thinking about each card and putting my thoughts on them in order, but I don't have the time to read 135 threads of people saying basically the same thing throughout the thread.
After a "long" zoo vs zoo game, you're on turn 6 and the fact that this card is a 2 mana 6/4 over two minions might seal the deal in your favor. In any other situation, I don't see this card being useful in any other scenario, the same way Omega Agent ended up not having an impact. That being said, the condition I said where this card can be good is virtually what arena is all about.
Absolutely loving the flavor and the homage to one of Warcraft's most legendary characters. However, as a card, I don't think the pay-off is worth playing a Spider Tank.
Sadly, this also feels like pack filler. 3 damage is easy to deal at once, and the pay-off isn't enough to put it in your deck for. Just play Wandmaker.
The viability of this card completely depends on how good Holy spells will be. I can see it being played in some kind of board-centric tempo Priest or Paladin. I won't write it off quite yet.
It's a Bloodfen Raptor, which is bad, but I can actually see it being relatively decent in Zoo. You want to run plenty of cheap cards, but those usually suck when topdecking them late game. This card is weaker in the earlygame, but still playable, while not being awful to topdeck later on.
Great control card. Its base form is good enough, and upgrading scales quite nicely with the phase of the game. Also bonus flavor for being one of the most iconic Shaman spells.
Quest Trading - Play A Friend!
Battletag: Calus#2543
Region: EU
Trade Only?: Yes, you go first
Sunscale Raptor
I am not a fan of lore or a flavour, I can say I don't care about it in 99% of cases.
But this is 1% where I found it funny enough and it fits in what the card does :D
New Neutral Minion - Blademaster Samuro
Handbuff failed usually in the past, but this can also benefit buffs on board. Interesting effect, definitely will see play at launch.
Sunscale Raptor

New Neutral Minion - Mankrik
I would be sad to get this as one of the few legendaries. A 3/4 and later a 3/10 that goes face is meh.
New Hunter Minion - Sunscale Raptor
I remember when some time ago it was mentioned that Deathstalker Rexxar was not going to support new cards after his year in standard. I was really happy to see that this end up not being the case.

Taliyah's Desert(Taliyah/Sivir)
Why are you playing buried sun disk with no ascended champions?
New Paladin Spell - Reckoning
This card is amazing! Great secret and even better artwork
New Neutral Minion - Mankrik
Great additional for throwback reference, I'm excited for more of that in this hearthstone year!
[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
Unlicensed Apothecary?
New Druid Minion - Druid of the Plains

New Shaman Spell - Chain Lightning (Rank 1)
Definitely better than Imp Swarm.
At basically any stage of the game, this is a decent removal card. As a Nature spell, it can also be really useful with Bru'kan for removing large threats, and I reckon there will be more Nature spell synergy. All in all, seems like a good card.
New Priest Spell - Desperate Prayer
As a card by itself, it's bad. You'd have to be desperate to run it for that purpose. Nobody is going to run it for its intended purpose.
But as a 0-mana spell, it's obviously useful for Priest combo spell stuff so it might end up seeing quite a bit of play for that purpose (which I find a bit hilarious).

New Neutral Minion - Razormane Raider
RIP Pit Fighter. Neutral 5 mana 5/6 with upside (although the upside may not always be preferable to activate).
It doesn't seem like it does too much, but it could possibly be used to get some extra face damage in some type of Aggro deck. Likely not though.
New Warlock Spell - Imp Swarm (Rank 1)

New Neutral Minion - Razormane Raider
Can be played as top-end for some kind of Aggro deck, but most likely just pack filler.
New Neutral Minion - Shadow Hunter Vol'jin
I already like playing with it, it's a fun card which is decently strong, without being oppressive. Also flexible as heck. I really dig it.
New Shaman Spell - Chain Lightning (Rank 1)
Great control card. Its base form is good enough, and upgrading scales quite nicely with the phase of the game. Also bonus flavor for being one of the most iconic Shaman spells.
