I don't like the "random" thing, i'd prefer a "deal damage to the left or right too" instead. But that said, the upgrade think is really good especially in control deck who reach 10 mana quite easily
It's a food 1 drop for hunter but the frenzy seems a little complicated to activate, 3 damage is pretty easy to do, the first one may be triggered if played on turn 1 but the other will came far too late to continue the buff chain. For me its a 1 mana 1/3 beast that put a 1 mana 3/4 beast into your deck and thats all. So not really op but decent in a beast hunter deck
This looks like a lot of fun! 1/3 is always a good 1-drop and could be really strong if you get the Frenzies going. Too bad Hunter lacks draw engines since this have a lot of potential, like with Dire Frenzy.
It seems like Peon is probably outclassed by Wandmaker. In the early game you have decent odds of triggering this frenzy, but it will be hard to do later, and in the early game you'd almost always prefer getting a random 1-drop spell over a random spell because you can utilize it sooner. But, with so many cards rotating, maybe the pool of random spells will be really good for one or more classes, and maybe the pool of great 1-drop spells will decrease, helping Peon to edge out Wandmaker.
+3 is a lot of extra damage and I could guess Shaman will get a couple of Nature spells to make use of him. Could be a key card in OTK och Spell damage decks.
Obviously this looks a lot like Lightsteed - maybe triggering off of holy spells (rather than healing) will make this better? One of the challenges with Lightsteed is that the buff is pretty minor on top of the mana you're already spending to target your own minions with healing (often via hero power), and the fact that it included non-friendly characters made it worthless with Circle of Healing. So, perhaps the randomness here is offset by getting to spend your mana doing valuable things instead of just board-wide heals, etc.
Great flavor and fan service. It's comparable to the Primes, playable 3-drop with a good reward. Probably a go-to card if you need to fill out your non-aggro deck.
Shadow Hunter Vol'jin
Need to see the rest of the other cards in the new expansion before judging how good this can be
New Neutral Minion - Blademaster Samuro
I dont know what to say except: its really good.
New Shaman Spell - Chain Lightning (Rank 1)

New Neutral Minion - Blademaster Samuro
Cool card, even better if it's buffed!
New Warlock Spell - Imp Swarm (Rank 1)
3 worthless imps for 2 mana if one can wait till the end
New Priest Spell - Desperate Prayer
Useless filler or important combo piece? Who knows, but there are some spell-slinging synergies in Priest to be explored.
New Hunter Minion - Sunscale Raptor

New Shaman Spell - Chain Lightning (Rank 1)
Potentially a very powerful card when combined with Brukan etc
New Priest Spell - Desperate Prayer
Does not seem like a gamechanger

New Druid Minion - Druid of the Plains
Think this card will be worth playing for its effects!
How is Mage Going to Perform in Hearthstone's Year of the Gryphon? Core Set Review
Most players will not have that card in their deck after the first week. Then it just becomes a stat card meme.
Also wouldn't it just be better to add a blitz mode instead of having a goofy restriction for it?
Just seems like we have so many useless legendaries in this core set.
New Hunter Minion - Sunscale Raptor
A must have for most Hunter decks.
Forged in the Barrens
I sure hope there is some type of Chuck Norris Easter Egg to be found in the expansion. It just wouldn't be the same.
New Druid Minion - Druid of the Plains
One of my favorite Barrens cards so far. This could go into just about any Druid deck that's not already crowded with other synergies or combo cards.
New Shaman Spell - Chain Lightning (Rank 1)
Solid even at Rank 1 and I'm very pleased to see they didn't go with crazy upgrades for higher ranks. I'm very surprised if this won't see play.
New Shaman Spell - Chain Lightning (Rank 1)
Super strong if you could combo it with Bru'kan. Without him, still a good spell that could shine in Spell damage decks.
New Neutral Minion - Peon
It seems like Peon is probably outclassed by Wandmaker. In the early game you have decent odds of triggering this frenzy, but it will be hard to do later, and in the early game you'd almost always prefer getting a random 1-drop spell over a random spell because you can utilize it sooner. New Warlock Spell - Imp Swarm (Rank 1)
Not really impressed, as other have stated the upgraded spell is "too little, too late". Maybe better in Arena or with synergy cards.
Barrens NEW ETC Warrior!
what about adding that legendary menagerie which draws mech, pirate, and dragon, and throw in annoy-o-tron?
New Shaman Minion - Bru'kan
+3 is a lot of extra damage and I could guess Shaman will get a couple of Nature spells to make use of him. Could be a key card in OTK och Spell damage decks.

New Neutral Minion - Mankrik
Great flavor and fan service. It's comparable to the Primes, playable 3-drop with a good reward. Probably a go-to card if you need to fill out your non-aggro deck.
New Shaman Minion - Bru'kan
Pretty much my thoughts as well. Will have to wait and see the how useful spell school specific damage will be, but design-wise it's very meh for me.
New Neutral Minion - Razormane Raider
Pack filler. Needs to be activated on your turn or just a waste of card space. Not impressed.
