Every strategy has a weakness and while we can sit here and talk about which Champs are better to suicide is it zillian or is it Sett

The reality is you don't want to be pigeon holed into one play pattern.

Cuzz yeah someone will just Catlyn your face in. I think thats why I like eternal so much its literally impossible to say hmmm this one.broke strategy is so broken it can't be stopped

From what the vid showed Kologarn does not take damage when he attacks the minion. Kinda like Neptulon and his arms attacking for him when he goes to attack a minion. Meaning your opponent still has to deal with that 6/10 body.

I honestly think Kologarn gave some inspiration to Colossal minions along with wanting to show the full art it. The fact that he was separated into arms and body made for a really fun encounter. I remember getting the achi back in the day for killing his arms and his body within a min of the the arms going down. Made for a hectic and fun encounter in 25 man raids before they started doing the different difficulty options for raids. They were still in Ulduar but they were optional choices for each boss, except Kologarn if I remember correctly.

Now unfortunately this deck is 100% eternal

13 cards out of 40 are rotated

So you won't be seeing thing kinds of results on the "competitive but actually less balanced" format.

But man this is why eternal is fun. You take these dumb unplayable cards like bard like Laurent blade master and together you make them legendary

But then you have to face down 18/18 stats with quick attack across 3 bodies for 0 mana so pick your poison I guess

Yea I was thinking from a Wild perspective this card is gonna be nuts in Priest and Rogue through mana cheats and summon spells. The fact that he is a deathrattle means he is targetable by many cards that can pull him from BFNW especially ones in Priest and Rogue. 

So I did win fairly easily there with bard garen into karma sett

But  thats because you couldn't buff pitch set

Which is what that deck does

Only Sett doesn't die when you pitch him making him the ultimate close your eyes and swing champ

Meanwhile I fought you tooth and nail for every inch and had a leveled bard

So of course I would win before you could start pitching for value

I dont want to condemn that style of play, which is to say leverage your champions for trade value at any expense.

I will say however that isn't the style of play I enjoy. Naaah I gonna flip, I gonna make 4 mana 7/7 that buffs for 2/2 I gonna do that with bard cuz that's what bard does.

But most would just swing and trade with him all day and that's probably better 90% of the time.

Yeah its good, it's about on the level of eternal poro king

Probably above level because you have better burst and removal, and honestly a cheaper numbers grind

The best way to play poros right now is kind of the best way to play anything which is buff and pitch

You buff your cards to demand answers from your opponent and then pitch them to their death

Each time they are running lower on cards lower on resources lower on life

So you'll see this with Nora, Viktor, aphelios, and so they actually grind you out through death

Bard grinds you out through living and that's always gonna be worse

But hey it sure is easy to turbo him eh?

Burst for 4 towards level at 2 mana, for demacia 18 towards level, garen 6 towards level etc

So in that perfect world bard can do work and I like that there are Champs like that in the game

Heckarim is another good example, just swing and close your eyes and sometimes you'll win

Play that siren song and swing and sometimes you'll win

What's your opponent gonna do spend 5 mana on a harsh winds just so they can not die?

Assuming they aren't gonna be competitive with ping spam disintegrate 

I'll always be a champ first player and that's why I'll always be bottom of masters and you know what that's okay with me

over at the r/customhearthstone subreddit, we're hosting HearthPhone: an event during which several teams collectively design a custom set, with a twist: every team only creates 10 cards, and only gets to see the 10 cards which were designed by the previous team! Does this fancy game of broken telephone sound familiar? It could, because this website featured an article on the previous round!

If you like designing cards with a purpose and don't mind working on a team, you should definitely look at this reddit post, where you can read the rules and register. When registering, you even get to state what classes you would or wouldn't like to design for, and mention if you'd like to team up with another specific designer.

The results are always a veritable mess, but hey, what can one expect after each team has such limited information?

Disguised K'thir is how you make interesting, fun cards instead of *cough *cough Algalon the Observer

Basically a counter to all those chad decks in of itself. Will it genuinely make the cut? Probably not. But I'd imagine it a bit like Bandersmosh, in that it'll never look statistically sound but yet can easily just win some games by itself. I wouldn't be opposed to sometimes run this simply to have fun.

Now the actual thing that is preventing bard from.being competitive isn't his board presence, his level condition, or his effect 

It's flock and disintegrate, again these cards are important they will be the only thing preventing siren song from running over the meta in eternal

But it also just happens to be really bad for bard

When your opponent pie tosses (half a card)

And disintegrates bard before you get chimes in, so now your second bard is also doing nothing

So typically that's what happens you snap remove and he can't do bard thing

But if he does do bard things he's not bad

Yeah you can't just play house spider house spider arena dude to simulate the impact of bard cythria

I might have understated bard impact

He lands a chime he a 3/6, you buff with elusive that's a 4/7 he plants more chimes

He trades he dies whatever

You play another, cythria comes down

All of a sudden you're just getting grinded out and you don't even realize it

So yeah bard is doing a little something if you know how to use him

Beyond going wide and providing a small buff

I even thought about using dawnspeakers but it literally didn't trigger once after play so the draw is probably better

It should activate chime give you another unit etc
