But in most cases Dredge doesn’t draw immediately. So you need Dredge plus a draw card/effect to go with it, or the funny clip will be someone trying to dredge their win con back to the top and then having it shuffled to the bottom again.
Another option could be two Dredge cards. Pick the one you want first since the second dredged card goes top, and hope the opponent places the second card at the bottom.
It just says “if you’ve forged a card” not if you played one. So you just need to divert 2 mana to upgrade a card on turn 2 or 3, and any Forge card can be used to set him up to play on 4.
Lol, everyone is worried about Algalon that nobody is talking about the Ignis' Kazakus impression!
Guess we have all the custom card types now (spell, minion and now weapon). And as before, definitely crafting golden day 1 for maximum golden value 🤩 (highly doubt Ignis will get the diamond treatment).
Just hoping there's enough low cost forging cards so we can play Ignis on curve.
Finley is currently one of the most skill testing card, and often enough with the least win play rates. And no ones going to keep finley in the mulligan, a dead card, until your opponent smirked for 5+ turns putting your cards down your deck.
Im ranting of course. But even rationally, I cant see what this card was designed for. Yes, there are people who like to play decks which does nothing other than screwing their opponents, with little to no consideration of actually winning, but is these the kind of players team5 wants to cater to?
rather than saying the obvious like how every single standard deck in LOR is now massively eclipsed by siren song fizz and how we've never seen anything like this before in LOR
where one deck is so lopsidedly dominant that every other deck might as well go home
I just thought I'd build something equally broken for eternal
so we can all suffer together
feel free to use this deck and emote spam after every undeserved siren song win till people start complaining more than they already are
Well, seems like Rustrot Viper's stock just went sky high
Its Kazakus, Golem Shaper but it gives you a weapon instead of a minion. And that's actually the sticking point here. Weapons tend to be good when youre ahead, or you're playing aggro, they are seldom ever good when they cost more than 3 and youre playing from behind. And yet that's exactly what this card is doing, putting you behind, and giving you expensive weapons.
And then there's the condition. You need to play forge cards, and we still dont know how many of them are, but what is certain is that you need to give away at least 2 mana prior to playing this, further diminishing your tempo play.
Still think it'll see play, but to me its not likely to replicate the same impact kazakus has on its heyday.
I think its pretty clear that effects like these will only serve to annoy, not make the game more fun for both sides, nor will it actually make the game more interesting. What this card does is essentially trolling the opposition, that theres a chance that their win con has now been practically yeeted out of the game. So I ask: What the fuck is this card being designed to accomplished?
Its another one of those bizarre decisions on top. If its good, its toxic and will be nerfed. If its bad then no one will bother playing it. So who is this card being made for?
Raise your eyes to the skies and observe! Today our world’s destruction has been averted in defiance of our very makers!
Algalon the Observer, herald of the titans, has been defeated by our brave comrades in the depths of the titan city of Ulduar.
Algalon was sent here to judge the fate of our world. He found a planet whose races had deviated from the titans’ blueprints. A planet where not everything had gone according to plan.
Cold logic deemed our world not worth saving. Cold logic, however, does not account for the power of free will. It’s up to each of us to prove this is a world worth saving.

Luckily there is a mechanic called Dredge but I doubt it'll save you against this card. Yet I can't wait for the Trolden clip where someone does Dredge their combo piece and wins regardless of Algalon
Algalon the Observer will likely be one of the most obnoxious card ever printed, simply because it places no restriction other than 1 mana to immediately cap your opponent on the knee. Imagine sending the opponent's win con down the line, and your opponent having absolutely no way to get it back or for that matter, know that their win con has been practically stripped from their deck.
Its going to be this expansion's Tickatus at very least, and at its very worst it'll be this expansion's Theotar, the Mad Duke. Either way, I fully expect this card to get nerfed, if for nothing more than being a card that's unimaginably annoying to face against.
I mean, look. If your opponent is playing blood control and they play this on 4. Yes, if your hand is shit you might as well just concede straight away. With enough algalons in the meta you might even just uninstall the game.

I don't really see a point in this legendary other than annoying your opponent, especially if said opponent is a combo deck. Might be considered a tech card in a super greedy, slow control deck.
Perma Anti-tutor for 1 mana each turn on a 4 mana 4/4 sounds ridiculous but to lose your hero power may be bad. I can only imagine some stupid combo deck in wild that allows you to use your HP over and over just so you can find the worst card for your opponent to draw each turn, pretty much negating any chance of them being able to come back. Like old school Yatagarasu in Yugioh.
Definitely agree on the sentiment here. From a Path of Exile perspective, I think GGG add activities to the core game but nothing that would create a new power level baseline (I doubt the current crucible content is going core but could be wrong).
For D4, the malignant hearts can create new builds and definitely increase the power level so I'm glad it wont be added to the base game but I hope new end game activities (like Helltides, Nightmare dungeons etc) introduced in future seasons get added to core to give more variance on the end game grind. Only lvl 90 and already bored of the annoying nightmare dungeon modifiers

Being A Pal An Building The Best Eternal Siren Song Deck
Like I said pretty content to throw every game
Doesn't make the current state of things any less true
Like if you think try harding open attacks with every archetype somehow makes you a good player with a larger say?
No that's not the case the siren song fix request is up to 700 likes on reddit
These people don't need to win every game to have their voice heard and I dont either
The fact I'm a masters player is actually irrelevant and the fact I get there without try harding is also irrelevant
I'm just one voice in the crowd
And again yes wow you elusive lethaled me
Don't care
Being A Pal An Building The Best Eternal Siren Song Deck
As far as I can tell pretty much the entire reddit community is begging for a balance fix at this point
And while I'm content to just mess around for as long as it takes for Riot to get their act together
I'm fairly certain that not every player is going to share my patient mind set
Mix that with the general toxicity and lack of self awareness of the die hards and you've got a pretty potent cocktail.
Keep in mind I'm a masters player that puts me in the top 10% and I consistently reach that level
What is everyone else thinking I wonder?

All Day 6 Card Reveals for Hearthstone's TITANS Expansion
Not really, just keep Sir Finely and some dredge in your back pocket if you're really stressed.
Then Finley goes upside-down in your deck, lol. I wouldn't play this unless I'm playing a full disruption deck...
Being A Pal An Building The Best Eternal Siren Song Deck
Yeah, even if there are better answers for the card in eternal than in standard
even if you win 2 out of 3 games because a lot of deck won't have the tools
that's literally your 60% climb rate
that's what fizz has
and it's all you need
and then once you have your 60% climb rate
everyone elses goes down
and that's all they need to be considered bad
this is whats called a meta warp
There is no world where this card isn't considered polarizing and problematic
it will slot well into pirate aggro in eternal
it slots well in targon
it slots well into poros
it slots well into evelyn
it basically slots into everything
and I bet if you looked specifically at the winrates of opponents who have that early curve into siren song into whatever their woncon is
it will look pretty busted
Being A Pal An Building The Best Eternal Siren Song Deck
Omg no joke I literally pulled a self pinging one drop of murrai warden
so when I summoned my husk from siren song it instantly died
and you know what?
I still easily won because a global buff to your deck for 4 mana is literally good enough
the husk is just overkill
maybe that's the fix it buffs but there's no husk on use
that would almost be balanced
until then don't forget to emote spam
thank you :)

Before siren song I climbed to masters with a deck just like this
so now I can climb twice as fast in 3 months
again remember to emote spam it's important to spread the good word
of how balanced and appropriate siren song is as a card in LOR
thank you :)
