Very nice! I liked both the idea of filling in the gaps and its execution (great title by the way)
Sidenote 1: Aethas, portal to Darnassus, Divine Bell. Now that final chapter makes so much sense. Sidenote 2: "the lost Kul Tiran fleet—which had been trapped in a magical storm caused by the naga queen Aszhara" -> I should really pay more attention to the missions' texts...
Revisiting my previous estimates for the entire expansion period:
100% completion of daily quests at an average of 900XP/quest: 108,000 XP
100% completion of weekly quests: 102,000 XP
0.5 hour/day of ranked playtime: 24,000 XP
Total XP: 234,000
For that much XP I now get 8,350 gold (up from 6,900). This is a significant improvement, so I've got no complaints personally. For non-ranked players though, Blizzard still needs to make that one weekly quest more inclusive.
You get gold for each level beyond 50 too - click the 'Show Spoiler' at the bottom of the post to reveal the rest of the table. The general consensus is that most people will be comfortably better off in gold now than on the old system.
Happy to help and glad you enjoy it :) This also gives a bit of context to the Jaina battlepass skins, with the last one being set after the Book of Heroes story.
Yeah, Warcraft 3 is the basis and origin for so much story in WoW, and we'll be going back to it several times. Sylvanas and Varian were briefly allies on the Broken Shore before they lost and Varian died to Gul'dan. Jaina was a part of that fight and it was before the Horde was allowed in Dalaran and she went off in a huff. All the stuff with her mom and Kul Tiras was during BFA, as well as some other stuff that I didn't mention because it would have broken off a bit too much from her main biographical narrative.
Oh yea, she's in her early middle ages at the most. Likely somewhere in the 40s, but I'll have to do some digging to check for sure if there's even a stated age for some of these characters.
Seems like a good idea Balistic Bot is just a really good card they have the same hp value, balistic bot can get more created cards and the pings are probably more useful.. except for ezreal purposes.
Glad to see you are making good use of the landmark need to test it if I get it..
Since this deck is combo dependent of sort and spell heavy maybe think of running deep meditation too? this deck should easily trigger it.
Really happy to hear folks have gotten Maxima and DR to work decently in standard (extra props for the Deathwing inclusion as i love that card!). And I actually have a solid Wild collection for Hunter (minus ze ol' Shredder) so I'll definitely gives those a go too!
Thanks again guys, and it's great to see some familiar faces on OOC :)
That is pretty bad of a take imo, if a deck has not been used much then it doesnt need nerf. For example, Nightfall had the most winrate in Lee/Pirate meta (confirmed by RubinZoo) but it did not receive any nerf, cause it felt healthy to play against and there were not so many players that plays it.
I wish I could use counterfeit copies but it doesn't work well :(, the searcher puts them into play rather than to hand, so its even clunkier to copy.
if I recall teemo, then that is recall + counterfeit copies + mushroom cloud = 3 mana also... :(
The electrorig is also less dead when out of combo giving a body although a rather weak one~
I was debating about monastary but it takes up a unit spot and can't cast in combat / response... I will try 1 copy if I ever get it in a reward though.
And yes its more combo than elusive aggro sorry I wasn't clear.
@anchorm4n I thought the flavor was pretty lacking honestly.
First off, that art was of a completely different character (and, well... you had the future Toki art for it, so not like there was no choice).
Second, the effect didn’t click at all with the flavor for me. Copying cards in your opponent’s deck is a well known Priest trope, and never once did it strike me in a time travel context
thanks and lol, here I was thinking new art would be better than recycling future Toki for the umpteenth time. I know it wasn't exactly the right character, but there's certainly a big resemblance. The idea for the effect was born from the purple part at the bottom of the art like in some shadow Priest cards. Discovering cards in your opponent's deck was the closest I could come up with for a "look into the future" idea but yeah, I should have explained that.
I know you asked for standard specifically, but considering that format's completely plagued with shamans this deck in wild has been seeing quite some success and will probably be up your alley. Basically a big/deathrattle hunter that's clearly legend-viable.

Wow, this is really top-notch work -- even including video cutscenes from the relevant part of the story!

I was going to read the whole thing, but then I got distracted by the way too much cleavage in the thumbnail.
I suggest the nerf hammer to deal with this problem.

Awesome material!! I was missing some big chapters. Where is Jaina when Silvanas is allied with Varian Wrynn and when Battle for azeroth is going on?
Chapter 3 to 5 should be called "Play Warcraft 3"
Your opponent is not allowed to play the game

I would go with Daring Poro at least it's cute and not demonic.

5 mana Giggling Inventor was and probably still is a very strong card, that can easily shut down aggro for at least a turn.
Dinotamer Brann is one of the best cards of a class that doesn't see play in Wild at all (if you don't consider decks that are tier 3 or below).
See the difference?
